Liar's Suffering

A/N: As usual, I would recommend putting the video on loop.

To Drem this position was most pleasing. His little doe would probably realize how he was holding her in just a moment or two. He wondered if her cheeks would heat and if embarrassment would enter her gorgeous (e/c) eyes. Bringing his right thumbnail to his lips, he chewed on it a bit, as a grin pulled at the edges of his mouth.

He could hear the slight chatter of her teeth, as he kept his touch on her, but he wouldn't let up just yet. No, not until she admitted to him that she was lying. His left hand slid down her chin steadily, as he went to drag his fingers delicately down her the right side of her jaw line and neck. If only he could feel the tantalizing softness of her skin.

Removing his thumbnail from his mouth, he hung his head closer to her face. He moved his legs, so as to be more comfortable on her lap, while he straddled her in the process. Personally, he would prefer to get her to admit that he was handsome rather than cute, but in his state he couldn't be too picky. So if he could get her to admit her true opinion about his monkey form, he would be satisfied for now.

Bringing his lips closer to hers, he breathed lightly over her seemingly supple skin and watched in delight as she tried to draw her face back. She had nowhere to go, since the washer was right behind her. "Such a pity for you, my little doe," he whispered out, while he ghosted his lips over hers.

When she turned her head to her right side, he chuckled somewhat before he pressed his left hand a bit harder on the right side of her neck. Instantly, she looked back to him, as she attempted to distance her neck from the coldness of his hand. "Drem just get off of me. You're not improving my opinion of you at all."

Another chuckle escaped his mouth, as he pulled his face away somewhat, but he continued to sit on her lap and straddle her. Peering over his right shoulder, he made the pen move across the page. Not until you admit that you find my monkey form cute. Otherwise, I'll continue my display of affection for you. Your pick, my little doe, though, I'm fine with either.

"I already told you that I don't find the monkey cute, and this is no showing of affection. It's f*cking uncomfortable, you sick b*stard. So, just get off of me, and we can go start reading another book."

It's not my fault that my touch has such an effect on you. Blame Nathan for making me this way. If I was in my original form, you would find this much more pleasurable. If I had my actual form back and didn't have to possess someone, you would probably find my appearance to be most attractive. And, my perfect lips on yours would make your knees give way.

"I highly doubt that, and who told you that I wanted to hear about your perverted fantasies? I would rather you keep those to yourself. Now for the third time, get off of me," she spoke, stressing the last part of her third statement.

You say that you doubt it, but you didn't say that it wasn't possible. Besides, how could you know? You've never seen my actual appearance or felt my original body's lips. Still, I want you to tell me the truth about your opinion of my monkey form. If you don't, I'll be kissing you in the next five seconds, and your time starts now.

This was preposterous. Why was he so keen on her admitting about the stuffed animal's cuteness? It was utterly frustrating. Now, he was going to kiss her if she didn't cooperate? She inwardly groaned at the predicament before her.

Additionally, she recalled what his kisses were like when he was in his ghost/spirit/whatever form. They were exceedingly unpleasant, as it felt like the life was being sucked out of her and replaced by piercing cold air. Her attention snapped forward, however, as she felt the freezing cold approaching her lips. She had probably another second to decide.

Wanting to avoid the feeling of his lips on hers, she rapidly exclaimed, "Fine, you win! I think that your stupid monkey form is adorable. Now, get off!" Thankfully, she did feel the biting cold leave her form, and she breathed out a long sigh of relief. At least he kept to his word. Her eyes turned to the piece of paper on the ground and watched as the pen scribed across it.

See, that wasn't so hard. Honestly, give me a compliment once in awhile, and you'll improve my mood. Now, you'll probably say that I don't deserve them and that I'm too terrible a person for them, but you have to give a guy a break after he's been ignored for five years by the person who he used to love.

In actuality she was going to mention something along those lines, but she held her tongue, as her mind wrapped around what he just wrote. So, he had loved Nathan, and it was potentially more than a friendship. Either that or it was one-sided. He also mentioned five years ago, and she tried to recall if she had seen anyone else around Nathan's house at that time.

Five years ago, though, she had paid even less attention to the antique collector. On her trips to school, she hadn't the need to pass by his house, since her school was in the opposite direction. She had only gone by his house on some of her afternoon walks that she would take occasionally, but she couldn't remember anyone else entering the house or living with him for that matter. Frankly, she couldn't even recall seeing Nathan enter and/or leave his home.

The question of whether Drem was a human previously or not also demanded attention. If she had that piece of the puzzle determined with absolute certainty it would aid her in painting a clearer picture in her mind. She could proceed further down the path of how Drem came to be in his current state and how Nathan was a part of it, especially if there was romantic relationship between the two or even a one-sided one. Perhaps, Drem only meant that he loved Nathan as a friend.

She had to know, and she couldn't hold back the question. "Drem, just tell me this. Were you human before what you are now?" The pen didn't move across the page, and everything seemed to go silent. Merely the sound of the washing machine filled the quiet, but it didn't draw attention from her. (F/n) focused her attention on the piece of paper, hoping that she would receive a helpful answer. Slowly, the pen started to write.

What will you give me in return if I tell you? Granted, I thought that you would have figured that out already. It's quite an easy answer if you think about it a little. Still, I can answer truthfully, but I will require something in return. Tell me what you have to offer.

"I do have an answer of my own to my question, but I want a hundred percent certainty. I wish to figure out what happened between Nathan and you, so that I can better understand my situation."

You haven't named your reward to me, though. You won't gain your perfect certainty until you do. I could list some things that I want, but I don't think you'll agree to them. You already rejected my one offer when you questioned me about my past with Nathan.

"So, it can be something less than that price, then?"

Yes, otherwise, I would owe you the story about my past with Nathan. Despite it being less, though, it still has to be a decent offering. I won't accept something that's petty.

Debating on what she could give him that wouldn't be too terrible for her; she wondered if she should just wait it out until tomorrow. After all in her search for the past between Drem and Nathan, she might find the answer to her present question. Then again, she might discover nothing.

By the way, my little doe, for this question, I'll only be allowing you this one chance to ask me for it. If you decide to put your curiosity on hold, I won't answer it in the future. So, make your decision carefully.

Well, that just tipped the scales somewhat. Could she really risk being patient for tomorrow? Biting her bottom lip in concentration, she wondered what he would want. There was always the option of something perverted, but she wouldn't agree to that. "What's an activity that you wanted to do but never had the chance to do so? And, it can't be something perverted."

There was stargazing, but we already accomplished that. I guess building a house for a pet was something that I always desired to do. I can't exactly let you go out and buy a pet, though, since you wouldn't come back to me. It would still be fun to build a house, and we can make a fake pet for it. Then again, I could always just force you to do this with me. Still, having you help me with such a project willingly would be more agreeable.

"Fine, I agree to do build a pet house and make a fake pet with you voluntarily if you answer my question truthfully," she voiced, finding that deal acceptable.

Alright, my little doe, you have yourself a deal. After tomorrow we'll go into the garage and construct one. Nathan should have some spare pieces of wood in there along with his tools, since he had considered buying a pet all those years ago.

If he doesn't, we can try our best with some other materials, since I still wish to work on this project. Anyway, regarding your question about my previous state of being, the answer is a three letter word. Or, in other words it's yes. I was a human before Nathan made me what I am today.
