"We saved her when she was six years old at a burning house. She lost her parents at the fire so she lived with us. Back then, she didn't have any reason to live so we gave her a choice. Become one of our experiments and work as our Killing machine. She agreed to us and she was our first experiments. We tell her what to do and she do it. She's like a robot that follows whatever we say to her." Matthew continued talking and from time to time, the Enchantress was glancing at me.

I could also feel some dark aura surrounding her as Matthew continued telling me about her past.

"We observed her from day till night, listing everything she can do and gave her the title 'Enchantress' because of what she can do. She only use her powers towards her victims that she's going to kill. She enchant them first before she strike. She doesn't even have to use her Assassin skills before." I saw Enchantress clutching her hands into a fist and they were starting to... bleed?

"She has exceeds our expectation as a Killing machine so we kept upgrading her every single day. She obeys every single order and the only mistake we've done is we trusted her so much. Since she was our only experiment, she doesn't have any partner so she was working solo. The boss treated her like his own daughter so he decided to make another experiment."

*I'll just break every paragraph so it won't have to be long*

"That's when Electro came in. Enchantress and Electro began to work together. They were arguing at first because they both wanted to work as a solo but as the time passes by, they began to work as a team. Until one day, Enchantress turned against us. She enchant me and use me to tell her all about what we were doing and all the things we do."

"She even enchant Electro to destroy almost everything we had. Thanks to the anti-Enchantress headset that we created for emergency, we got Electro back and restrain her."

"Wait a minute, you already made anti-Enchantress headset before she went rogue?" I ask him.

"It wasn't plan but I suggested it just in case she would turn against us, which she did and I thank myself for creating the anti-Enchantress headset." He answered.

"It's because since the very beginning, he already didn't trust me." The Enchantress spoke.

"No one ask you to speak." Matthew exclaim.

"I don't need any permission to speak." The Enchantress smirk and even though I was behind her, I could see her facial expression at the side of her face.

"Anyways, back to the story. She was nine years old when she betray us so we built her cell and made sure that no one ever hear about her or no human beings is to come near her. That is why none of our staff ever heard about her. After a year, we created Voodoo, who creates small dolls and can manipulate anyone if she has the doll. All she need is a piece of hair of the person and she'll automatically creates the small doll. That's how we began to control Enchantress again but we never release her."

"But before Voodoo can get a piece of her hair, we have to sacrifice lots of Metahumans just to restrain her and we've lost so many great Metahumans just because of her. It was Electro who was the one the got the hair because of his speed and finally, we got Voodoo to make a doll of the Enchantress. That's pretty much everything." By the time that Matthew finished his story, we were already the the boss' s office.

The Enchantress started to chuckle softly, which made my heart skip a beat again.

'Why am I feeling like this?'

"What's so funny?" Matthew ask.

"Everything." The Enchantress replied.

"What do you mean by everything?" Matthew turned around so he can face the Enchantress.

"Lies, they were all lies. All the stories you told him, none of them are real." The Enchantress's eyes turned scarlet. "Why can't you tell him the truth huh? Is it because you're afraid for him to know the truth? Or is it because you're afraid to accept the fact that you were the one who-"

Before Enchantress can finish her sentence, Matthew immediately put out the Enchantress doll then twisted the left arm of it.

I saw how the Enchantress's left arm twisted on its own and heard the piercing screaming of pain that she made. The next thing that Matthew did was bent the right knee, making the Enchantress fall down the ground.

"If you don't keep your mouth shut, I will-" Matthew stop at mid-sentence when the Enchantress interrupted him.

"You what? You will kill me? Pfft! Yeah right. As if you can. Go ahead, kill me! I dare you to! Kill me now so you don't have to worry about me anymore!" The Enchantress challenge Matthew while locking her now e/c eyes into Matthew's blue eyes.

Matthew just stood there, not doing anything. After twenty seconds, the Enchantress started laughing. But even though she was laughing, sadness was written all over her eyes.

The next sentence that the Enchantress said made me surprise.

"What now huh? You can't do it... big brother?" She emphasize the last two words as if she was sending the message to me.

"I don't have a sister like you!" Matthew spat on the Enchantress's face and the Enchantress just smirk at him.

"I'm hurt that you can't accept me as your little sister, but I'm more hurt that you didn't even feel anything when our parents died. It's either you don't care about them, or you were a coward that you didn't have the courage to fight back before because you're a wimp!" The Enchantress yelled angrily while tears were streaming down her eyes.

It made me want to... comfort her and put her between my arms.
