Goblins on the doorstep,

Phantoms in the air.

Owls on witch's gateposts,

Giving on stare for state.

Up and down the streets,

Jack-o-lanterns grinning.

Shadows on a screen,

Shrieks and stars and laughter –

This is Halloween!
