First when my teacher

Taught me the word Sorry,

It was a golden word.

As I began to grow,

I started changing its meaning.

Sorry, I said,

When I did mistakes.

Sorry I said,

When I told a lie.

Sorry I said,

When I hurt others.

Sorry I said,

When my teachers yelled at me.

Sorry I said,

When I said sorry again.

When I say sorry

And repeat my mistakes,

The word sorry became

A meaningless word for me.
