< INSIDE THE COLLEGE  ~ { THE CLASS }

After the end of their lectures, The physics teacher bids them farewell and a good night wish, then left the class

The students packed their bags, and they left for their various destinations one after the other

Oliver said goodbye to Poppy and others except Leo who stormed out without waiting for his friends

" Don't mind him, he will be alright" Adam said

" Sure, but I don't want him to hate me more than he does because you guys stood up for me when he insulted me" Oliver replied

" Friends fights so it is fine and have a good day" Jack said

" See you tomorrow buddy" Mason beamed at Oliver, who shyly smiled back

" Good bye Richard" Oliver said, while Richard nodded

" See you buddy" Jack said and left with the others

Poppy packs her books, neatly into her bag, and was about to leave, then Richard quickly obstructed her view

" What are you doing? She asked looking at him

" I just wanted to see if you are okay" He replied

" As you can see I am pretty much okay" She said, walking forward but she was put to hold by Richard again

" I'm not done talking" He said

" I don't want to talk to you and you perfectly know the reason why so please stop bothering me and move out of my way" She replied

" But I want to talk to you, and we have to discuss" He said

" Must I keep repeating myself each time that my brother doesn't want to see you with me likewise yours" She replied

" I don't care about my brother and you should not listen to yours too" He responded

" You can't tell me what to do, I own my life and I will do whatever my family wants" She said

" For how long? Your brother and mine are just the same

Poppy cut him off immediately

" My brother and yours ain't the same and you know that so stop being so blind to the truth" She replied and walked off

" Why do I always make her angry? I behave crazy sometimes" He shook his head

He sat down for a while, then he stood up and left

7PM' THE WHEELERS ICE-CREAM PARLOR>

Cindy got out of the public bus looking tired and went straight into the parlor

When she got in her mom had a few customers so she went quickly into the washroom

She sat down on the WC for her while because it was a tiresome day at the store

She flushed the toilet, close the door, wash her hands with antiseptic soap and rinsed it gently, then she rubbed her hands with a tissue which she threw into the dustbin as she was about to leave

When she got out, it was only remaining a customer whose orders were still pending, she just quietly sat at the customer side and waited for her mom

After a few minutes, her mom was done, her mom went to the doorstep and swiped the < OPENED > To ~ CLOSED ~

" I can see you are exhausted, I made your favorite ice cream flavor" Her mom said

Cindy quickly junked up with a smile on her face

" You're the best mom ever" She said and took the vanilla ice cream cone from her mother and licked it quietly with a cute blush on her pretty face

" I know right" Her mother smiled back and left to gather her things

Cindy continued licking the ice cream cone till it finished, she frowned when it was all gone

Her mother came outside with her bag and they went to take a bus straight home

THIRTY MINUTES LATER**

They got home, Her mom went to open their apartment but Cindy went to get Bolt from the trainer

She knocked on his door, which he opened quickly

" I have been waiting for you for quite some well" He said

" OH sorry, We came back late today" She replied

" It's fine and......

Bolt cut their conversation off, he happily bounced like a bouncing castle on her, she knelt down so she wouldn't fall, she caresses his face smoothly rubbed his face

" I've missed you dear" She said caressing his face mildly

" I can see you guys are having your separate time, and I gave him some food" He said

" Thanks, isn't he the best trainee? She asked bolt

" Of course everyone in this neighborhood know that" He grinned softly

She stood up and held bolt with his belt

" Bye" She waved and left with bolt

When she got home, she went up to her room to freshen up and after that she went down for dinner

After few minutes, she was done with her dinner, she carried her moms plate and hers, went to wash the dishes and came back to the dinning

" Mom good night, and sweet dreams" She yawned

" Have a nice dream" Her mom replied and they both left for their respective rooms

10PM,  EDWARD'S MANSION^ { RICHARD ROOM }

Poppy sneaked in and quickly lie on the bed, while Richard was having a cold shower

He took few minutes, then came outside in a white towel

" You again, haven't you disturbed me enough this morning, What are you looking for in my room at this time of the day?" He asked

" What do people do in a room?" She asked

" Stop playing does minds games it would work on me" He replied

" Then fine, my room was so cold, so I decided to come sleep here for the night" She responded

" You must be joking right, So of all the rooms on your side you couldn't find a room to sleep in, if yours is cold , you could have switched off the AC of your room" He said

" I lost my remote so I couldn't switch it off, and this is the best room to be among the rooms in this mansion" She replied

" Popz, just don't dare me tonight, you know I can't sleep if someone is with me in my room I love to be alone" He said

" That is non of my business, learn to sleep with people and I am not a stranger, I'm your cute little sister" She smiled and winked at him

" Stop smiling and please let me be?" He pleaded

" Then go and sleep in your bath tube, I slept there ones and it's so cool and nice" She said

" I can't, and I give up you can sleep with me" He replied

" Wow, I won, yea, yea" She shouted

" Be quiet everywhere is so silent so stop shouting " He said

Richard opened his closet, brought out his white rope and lie down on the bed, covered himself with the duvet, he switched of the lights and he slept off

Poppy who was pretending to sleep, stood up, pecks his forehead and smiled

" Goodnight brother" She said, and left his room quietly

She never had the intention to sleep in his room, she just wanted him to sleep early because he got back stressed and she knows he will not sleep, and just continues his pending works which was left undone in his office so her plan was to make him sleep earlier than before

*STEVEN'S MANSION*

His driver helped him In because he was so drunk

Richard who has been waiting for him to get back, helped him with his driver to the couch

" What happened to him? Richard asked

" He went to a bar after his work and he got so drunk" The driver replied

" Okay thank you for taking care of him" He said

" Don't Sir, it's my work so don't thank me" The driver replied

" No it's your  work to drive him not to nurse him like a baby" He said

" Ok Sir I need to leave" The driver replied

" And please stop calling me Sir you are older than me I should be the one calling you with respect, and it's already dark take my brothers car home" He said

" No Sir, Boss will fire me if I do so, then take my car then" He said, took his car keys from the center table and gave it to the driver

" Thank you so much Sir" The driver responded and left with the car keys

He walked back to his brother and shook his hand, he made him stand up, and he managed to take him to his room

He made him lie on the bed, covered his body with his duvet

" When will you become a better son and brother?" Richard asked no one in particular

He switched off the room lights and left, he entered the next room and also slept peacefully

*MORNING* { STEVEN'S ROOM }

Richard entered the room, wearing his  college uniform, he carried a cup of lemonade juice to subside and minimize the effects of the alcohol he drank last night, he dropped the cup gently on his table with a cover on top of the cup

As he was about to exit through the door, he heard the usual voice

" What are you doing here, How did you get here, What gave you the audacity to come into my mansion" He yelled feeling a slight headache

" I don't have to answer all those questions, I need to get to college early" Richard said calmly

" How dare you! I'm your elder brother so you need to answer all my questions with immediate response, and I told you not to go to that dumb college but you refuse, you are the son of the < THE BERRYHILL > so behave like one, there are numerous college across the country but you still went to that college, Shame on you brother, I can't believe you are my brother, it seems you were adopted and not my biological brother" He replied

" How dare you call me an adopted brother, don't you have any shame, you called your real brother an adoptive son, I can't believe this, I won't blame you because you have never for once behaves like a big brother to me, all you do is to sleep around with different women, you are the one ruining the family reputation, and you can't tell me what do to with my life, so mind your business" Richard responded

" See the way you are speaking to me, Wow I can't believe this, one know dares to do so or else I will beat death out of the persons life just be thankful that you are my family, if not your face will be full of blood and bruises by now, and mind you I'm not ruining any reputation, I have been maintaining our legacy for the past many years" He said

" Maintaining, while disrespecting woman anyhow, you must be kidding me right now, just drink the lemonade on your table" Richard replied and walked out quietly

" What does this boy thinks of himself" He said, standing up from his bed, he stood up and went straight to the table, took the lemonade juice and drank it in a go

Then he went to the bathroom, few minutes later, he came out, got dressed and was ready for work

He took his phone and saw a few emails from some important clients, then he left for his office with his driver
