CINDY'S APARTMENT** { HER ROOM } 6AM**

DDAY**

She stretched her body, using her right hand to switch off the alarm which has been ringing for over 30 minutes

She laid down on her bed with her eyes fully opened

She stared at the ceiling, feeling worried about her interview

She has always wanted to fulfill two dreams of her  life

The first one is to become a CEO { chief executive officer } of her own company

And the second one is to become a  COO { Chief Operations Officer }

She wanted to become one of the two one day but  now the opportunity came knocking on her door and she doesn't want to miss the chance

She wants to make her daddy and little brother happy, she wishes to make everyone proud of her

She looks around for bolt  but he wasn't in her room, she then laid down back on her bed

Some minutes later, she stood up to get ready for her upcoming interview

She entered her bathroom, took her bathe, did her  morning skincare routine and left the bathroom

She came out wet with her white towel wrapped around her body

She went to the mirror, took her hairdryer, when she was done, she packed her hair up, wore a white V top and a brown suit and a black short heels which suit it perfectly

She wore a black leather wristwatch, used a white  lipgloss, she added a little makeup touch on her face

" Wow, I'm good to go" She twinkled at herself looking into the mirror

She looked at her wrist watch which says 7:30AM

She took her bag and went downstairs for breakfast

" Good Morning mom" She greeted

" Wow, you look so stunning darling, I was like this when I was in your age" Her mother said

" I know mom, you are my pretty mom after all" She replied

She said down for breakfast, her mother made sweet dishes because she wants her daughter to bring good news

" These foods are tantalizing, you are the best chef I have even seen" She replied eating gently

" I know right, just eat gently and all the best to your dream job" Her mother said

" Good luck to you too mom" She replied eating a spoonful of food

Her mother went upstairs to get dressed for her parlor

She continues eating her food before 8PM

After she was done, she went to meet Bolt

" I will be back soon and wish me luck" She said caressing his head

Bolt shakes his tail in approval

She grinned softly and left taking her bag along

She decided to take a cab today in order to get to the interview venue as quick as possible

*EDWARD'S-EMPIRE*

Cindy got their by 8:45AM

She got into the company, she admired the big skyscraper company from outside to inside

" Good Morning ma'am" A receptionist greeted as she walked in

" Good Morning Miss" Cindy greeted as well

" What can I do for you?" The receptionist asked

" I came for a job interview here" She replied

" The interview is at the second floor just take the elevator and the first big hall to your right" The receptionist responded

" Thanks a lot" She replied

" Good luck ma'am" The receptionist responded

Cindy left as instructed by the receptionist

The employees gave her a compliment

🫂 It seems she came for the interview

🫂 I hope she get the job so we can become friends

Good compliment kept coming for her, she just smiled and entered the elevator

She got to the hall, she saw many people who also came to the interview

She sat down quietly, while people were called one after the other

It reached her turn and the feeling of nervousness began

She breathes in and out then she was okay

She knocked on the door and she was asked to come in by someone

When she got inside, she saw three older men siting

She greeted them by bowing her head in respect

" Good morning Sirs" She greeted

The men smiled at her and she was asked to take her seat

" Good Morning Miss Cindy Wheeler" One of them said

" You are one of the best candidates we have been waiting for your CV got us surprised you have the qualities of the job you choose but we will like to ask so questions" The other man said

" Thank you sir, I appreciate" She replied politely

Many questions were asked and she gave them a good response

When she was done, she bowed her head and left

" Wow, she is so outspoken" A man said

" And very respectful" The other man replied

" I think she is the one" The third man responded

" We need to seat with the other boards members so don't draw into conclusions" The first man said

The interview ended for the day and Cindy left the first floor

She was holding her bag in her hand, adjusting her CV files when she suddenly bumped into someone

Her file fell down on the floor, the person bent down to pick it likewise Cindy

They packed the papers and they both stood up banging their head against each other

" Ouch, it hurts" Cindy said

" Owwwwwwwww!!!!!!

The man said rubbing his forehead

They rose up their heads and Cindy was shocked

" You!!!!!!!!!!!

" What are you doing here?

" Are you stalking me?

" Are you a stalker?

She questioned

" Of course not I'm not a stalker and why will I want to stalk you Miss?" Maxwell asked

" Then what are you doing here?" She questioned

" You ain't my parent or someone I know so why should I answer your questions" Maxwell replied

" I just hope this will not be a bad day for me because you ruined my day the other time and I also met a crazy person just like you" She said

" I'm different from him, don't try to compare us together again" Maxwell replied

" Do you even know the person I was talking about before you drew up the conclusion" She said

" I don't need to know and I don't want to talk to you" He replied and left

" This man is so rude, next time I meet with him I will make him pay, she said and left the premises

Maxwell was about to enter the elevator when his secretary approached him

" Good Morning Boss, i have been trying to get in touch with you since but your phone was switched off and when I saw you, you were with a lady" The secretary said

" My phone went off, and who was that lady?" He asked

" She is Cindy Wheelers, she came for the job interview as a chief operation officer, I saw her files and CV she has more experiences and she is so good" The secretary replied

" I never asked you to tell me her details, tell the board members to hire her immediately" He said

" Boss the board members.....

" This is my company and I make the decisions, I said I want her to work for me and that is finally, so inform the board members" He said and entered the elevator

" I don't understand, he doesn't know her and he want her to work for him, he acts weird sometimes" The secretary went to inform the board members immediately

MAXWELL'S OFFICE**

He got inside took off his suit and hanged it

" So she came her for a job, Nice I like that" He said and continued his work

THE WHEELER'S ICE CREAM PARLOR**

Cindy walked into the parlor and went to change her clothes

Some minutes later, she came outside to help her mom with customers

Among the customers was Richard, Poppy, Leo, Jack, Mason and Oliver they came after college to get buy a ice cream

Her mother went inside her office for something important

As Richard got to the counter, he recognized her immediately

" Hello Cindy, do you remember me?" He asked

" Of course, you are Richard, that crazy guys brother right" She said

The others smiled including Leo

" And these are my friends" Richard said pointing at them

" I'm Poppy, nice to meet you, I have been meaning to meet you" She replied with a beaming expression

" I'm Leo, nice to see you" He said

" I'm Jack, you are so strong and I love that" Jack said

" I'm Mason, you look so good in person than the pictures online" Mason said

" And lastly I'm Oliver" Oliver replied

" You guys have nice names" Cindy said

" You should have told me you met her already that is cheating" Poppy faced Richard

" Sorry I forgot" Richard smiled back at her

" We heard from Oliver about this parlor so we came to confirm if all he said was true" Jack said

" Don't worry, you will visit this place often after tasting my mom's ice cream" Cindy replied

" I told you guys, they ice cream here is the best" Oliver said

" Wow, your mom owns here, that means Oliver is right, the ice cream will taste good because your mom will be more sweeter than you" Richard said

And they burst into laughter including Cindy

" That was so funny" Cindy said

" Of course, he has always being like that" Leo said

" So the ice cream are on me, and I just came back from a job interview and I wish I get the job, so we can celebrate more" Cindy said and immediately she got a text message from the company

She read silently

" CINDY WHEELERS, CONGRATULATIONS YOU GOT THE JOB, YOU CAN START WORKING IN TWO DAYS TIME"

Cindy screamed out in joy

They stared at her, trying to figure out why she was screaming

Then she calm door and faced them

" Guess what guys, I got the job" She screamed

" Wow, I'm so happy for you" Poppy said

" Congratulations to you" Richard said

" These calls for a celebration" Leo said

" Hold on I want to inform my mom, you guys can have your seat" Cindy said and rushed in

Cindy entered her mom's office and gave her a hug around her shoulders

" Mom I got my second dream job" She said

" I knew it, that one day I will be more proud of you, you have been a blessing child and you will grow more and more, Congratulations darling" Her mother replied, stood up and gave her a tight hug

" Mom, I want to attend to my guests outside I will be right back" She said and left the office

Cindy got outside and went to their tables

" So we have any flavor you may wish for" Cindy beamed

" I want vanilla ice cream" Poppy said

" I want strawberry" Jack and Oliver chorused

" I want chocolate" Mason and Leo said together

" I want anyone" Richard said

" Then you can have my favorite vanilla ice cream flavor with me and Poppy" Cindy replied

" Wow, vanilla ice cream is my favorite too" Poppy said

" Then we are twinny" Cindy replied and left to get the ice cream

After a while they were done with the ice cream so  she bid them farewell and they left
