I had woken up two hours ago and was already ready. I paced my room somemore. Why were niether of my parents up yet? Ugh. I can't be late! Not on my first day! I was close to having a panic attack. I needed to calm down.

Calm yourself. You must be calm. Calm like a tree. Wait, trees aren't calm! Argh! Calming myself was harder than I thought. I need to vent, but to whom? Emma? But is she even up? It's worth a shot.

I got out my phone and texted Emma.

Me: HELP!

I waited a second...no response. Is she still asleep? I mean it's only 4:30 am. That's a reasonable time to get up. Right?
I wait a minute. No response. Wait is that someone stirring awake. Nope. Ugh I'm going to be late! I crashed to the floor, crying for who knows how long. After a while I heard someone arise. The door creaked open, it was my mother.
"Ah. I see that you are all ready! Great job! But it's quite early for that..." My mother was speaking lies.
"Never!" I screamed then ran out to the car. I waited for one parent to come out and drive me. It was taking forever!
