✹ "let me go nico! i just wanna strangle her it's all! nico!" nicole groaned put nico was taller and managed to block her and hold her away from launching herself over to sophia. "she's talking with pedro. why is she talking with pedro?!"

nico turned her head around over to pedro who greeted sophia awkwardly and quickly left giving nico and nicole a quick glance. "she's coming, oh gosh she coming!"

"party!" tenzing said drowsily appearing in front of nico and nicole. nico gave him a serious look and snatched the bottle away settling down on the table and sitting him down on the chair. "woo!"

"hey!" her voice was sickening. sophia was a bit taller than nicole but shorter than nico so the girl towered over sophia while nicole could easily punch her on the jaw. "how nice to finally met you!"

"likewise." nico said in a judgy voice.

"wish i could say the same." nicole sassed giving sophia a sarcastic smile. sophia gave her one back. the two girls continued looking at each other and soon, nicoles sarcastic smile dropped and her eyes filled with anger. "nico, one punch and i'll be happy."

"no." nico whispered and pulled her away from sophia leaving the blonde stranded. nico hooked her arm through nicole who breathed out angrily and crossed her arms over her chest.

"you forgot tenz." nicole said pointing over to the boy who was slumped on the chair. his head thrown back, mouth wide open, and dead asleep. nico waved him off walking over to lottie and liz who muttered to each other.

"hey, nic. you look beautiful! amazing, truly." lottie said smiling nervously at nicole who didn't think much of it and smiled back at lottie reaching up to her side. right when nicole was going to spin around and lean against the wall, liz spun her back.

"what did sophia tell you?" liz asked keeping her hands on nicoles shoulder and continuing to look anxiously over nicoles shoulder.

nicole shrugged her shoulder, "nothing that made me feel bad for wanting to strangle her." nicole said and spun back around leaning against the wall. then she saw the reason why lottie and liz were giving her nervous glances at her and behind her shoulder.

nicole frowned her eyebrows as she saw the scene unfold in front of her. sophia walked up to bella who was making their way over to his group, but was stopped midway by sophia. the blonde jumping in front of bella smiling widely with her sickening smile.

nicole ignored the voices of lottie and nico who mocked them back and forth trying to see what they were talking about. nicole was just trying to see a billions of ways of a natural disaster to happen to sophia.

the night was perfect. keyword: was. everything was going as planned, everything was just like nicole and her friends have planned. the whole entire day was perfect. nicole was happy, in her safe place with her people. again, keyword: was.

she never thought that the night would be ruined by the girl that she thought was finally away when in reality bella just has a shitty manager that should mostly likely be fired, that's just nicoles opinion.

then there it was. the heartbreak. the sound of her heart breaking into a million pieces for the girl that she loves but won't admit it out loud because she's scared. scared of something like this happening, again, at least not in the same way but slightly.

"i can't-i-i gotta go." nicole cried softly shaking her head and pushing herself past her friend who immediately started comforting her. nicole walked past them making sure to look down as she walked past the monsters sucking faces.

"no, no. no, get- nicky!" bella pulled away just as fast as sophia put her slimy lips on theirs. bella turned her face away and tried to get away from sophia's grasp but the blonde brought her back in just in time for nicole to look.

she should've know that nothing was ever too perfect in her life.
