✹ liz and nicole woke up early on the day of the premiere. january 6th, 2022. a lot of things have happened during the past three months that lead into new years. firstly, nicole got a role in the upcoming spinoff show "freeridge" and luckily for her, so did tenzing.

she has recently started filming for another movie called, "willow." also a spin-off show to the original movie that's named the same thing. well, she starts filming a week after the last of us premiere. she's been doing a few photoshoot sessions. mostly all of it keeping her mind off a certain brunette.

ever since canada, they didn't keep in contact as often as they did before. during nicoles birthday, bella did in fact text her and send her a present which nicole called her to thank them. but nothing else happened. nicole had healed long before the three months but she never found the right time to continue texting bella like everything was normal.

because nicole still couldn't see or think of bella without thinking of that night. someone people might call her over dramatic or say that it wasn't a big of a deal. but imagine if the person that you are in love with, kisses another person who told you not to worry about? or told you, that nothing was going to happen between them? and then suddenly, with one single encounter something happened between them. that feeling is what nicole felt.

the month of november went by slow for nicole. she took a break off all social media, erasing it after her last post where bella defended her. she went awol all over the internet, so whenever someone spotted her alone or with one of her friends they made sure to take a picture and post it on all platforms.

then december hit. she downloaded instagram again but didn't let anyone know or showed anyone that she redownload it. she might or might've not stalked bella and her new post along with her tagged for about a good solid hour before going over to tiktok and spending there another solid hour.

christmas hit and they all decided to just spend it over at the trainors family household since nicole hasn't really even in contact with her family for months and lottie doesn't really have a stable family household. they spend there all throughout new years as well.

all of that leading up to now. the premiere of the last of us. nicole and liz getting their nails done while liz gets her hair and make up done. storm and nico deciding to get ready over at their apartment as well. tenzing already premiere ready.

it was about 3:30pm when all the girls were finally finished with their looks. nicole ended up going with the white sparkly dimond dress with the thin white strings paring then along with the long white silk gloves. her makeup was a soft glam, and just to make her lips pop out with a crimson lip stick.

they all headed off to the premiere around 4 and arrived exactly at 4:20. lottie making a joke about the time and saying "guys time to pray for our lord and savior snoop dog," and actually closing her eyes with storm who held a picture of snoop dog in front of them. nico laughed taking a picture of them while nicole shook her head but let out a serious of giggles.

once the limo went on park the group one by one started heading out. storm, followed by nico, followed by liz, lottie and tenzing. lastly, nicole. leg out first holding gently her dress as her heel tapped on the carpet. she looked down at her feet as she stepped out of the limo, cameras flashing immediately and calling out her name.

"miss leblanc! miss leblanc, look up here!" one shouted followed by, "nicole leblanc what do you think about—" cut off by another, "absolutely ravishing, miss leblanc!" and a, "can we get a closer picture?"

too say that nicole felt overwhelmed was an understatement. she let her fingers lose dropping the hem of her dress down on the carpet and despite her overwhelming feeling, nicole kept her head held high one foot in front of the other. plastering a smile on her red lips, waving from left to right, bringing her hand back to the hem of her dress lifting it up ever so slightly to prevent from tripping over her dress.

her friends being more deeper into the red carpet than her so they weren't able to help her out by the thousands of cameras flashing, the shouts of her name, the extending arms to catch her attention. truly amazed her yet frightened her.

"ms leblanc, would you mind if we ask a few questions?" asked a male interviewer asked politely which was why nicole stepped aside and went closer to him.

"yeah sure." nicole said putting on her soft and gentle voice smiling widely like as if she wasn't completely anxious.

and so the man asked the basic questions, "who picked out your dress?"

"storm reid helped me pick it out."

"how excited are you to watch the first episode of the last of us?" stupid question really, but nicole still answered.

"very excited to see how this project turned out especially because i've played the games and i have been obsessed. and i'm pretty positive that bella ramsey made a wonderful job portraying ellie williams."

nicole realized her mistake and wished very deeply that the man didn't read to much into it. but who was she kidding. "speaking of, what would you place your relationship with bella ramsey?"

"friends. that's all." she said without hesitation.

"nothing more?" he asked raising an eyebrow at nicole. his smug face telling off everyone that he got the reaction that he needed from nicole.

"no," nicole breathed out shaking her head and putting her lips in a tight line. "nothing more and nothing less. i'm sorry, but i've gotta go."

"it's alright, thank you!" the man said just as nicole waved him off backing away from him. nicole held in her breath as she went deeper into the wave of paparazzis and their flashing cameras. nicole forced on a smile as she felt her nerves start to rise up again.

her arms that were dangling on the side, she started to wave her fingers to try and shake off her nerves as she stood on the middle of the carpet posing for pictures smiling. nicole breathed in and out hoping that someone can come and swoop her out or just stand by her side.

she walked once again remembering, one foot in front of the other. breath in and out. smile and wave. and don't let the nerves get the best of you. as nicole finished off a pose she looked over to the entrance of the carpet and she felt a wave of relief exploding through her entire system.

as she locked eyes with bella, she smiled softly and warily. bella knew instantly that nicole needed someone by her side. all bella needed was to lock eyes with nicole and read her off to know. nicole stayed in her spot looking away from bella who went over to take a few pictures alone before hurriedly making her way over to nicole.

"hi." bella breathed out reaching up to her side. putting his hand behind nicoles lower back and nicole hooking her arm around her back and placing it on the other side of their hip. them getting closer than ever. it was like as if the three months never happened, like sophia never happened. it was right where they left off.

and if it wasn't because nicole was out in public, she didn't burst into tears as the overwhelming feeling disappeared and the familiar comfort of bella filled her. bella and nicole took photos together and walked skin to skin over to the rest of the cast.

at some point nicole seperated from bella as the cast took pictures all together. and after nicole, liz, lottie and tenzing taking a group picture as well. nicole went to go take one individually with storm, nico and pedro along with some other people.

nicole and bella didn't reunite until they reached the inside of the theater. the lovesick duo separating from their friend group and telling them that they were going to get snacks for them. nicole and bella stood in line for the popcorn not saying a single word.

"you look beautiful, nicky." bella said and there it was. just enough for nicole to snap. not in tears, just her emotions to finally snap and realize that she needs bella. that she wants bella. more than ever.

"and you look absolutely breathtaking, bels." nicole said back. both girls having lovesick smiles, and love filled inside of their eyes. nicole hooked her arm through bella who pulled her closer to her. neither of them wanting to be apart just yet.

neither of them wanting to talk it out just yet. they could do that the next day because right now they were good once again. they were together, in each others arm, without a single worry, without a single care in the world.
