Chapter 9

Hermione looked at the ring glitter in her finger. She knew what to do. Marching up to the room and knocking was what to do. The Slytherin stood there crying and tired. "Hermione, just-just go..." He was exhausted, as he tired to close the door Hermione put out her foot to stop it and slipped in.

"No." She said.

"What?" Draco asked.

"I'm not leaving, I love you and we are in this together. We have been through so much and I won't give you up now." Hermione finished and Draco looked up from his bed, his back touching the bed.

"Come here." He lifted his right arms and patted on his left. Hermione walked up to the bed and laid on top of his left arm. "I love you" said Draco looking into her Raven eyes.

"I love you too."

"Thanks for being there for me." He said. Draco fell asleep with Hermione in his arms. But she couldn't sleep. How could this had happened.

During Charms Draco was missing. When Hermione entered the classroom, from her transfiguration class, in conversation with Harry no one called out for her. She sat at the back and started her work.

It was dinner time and Hermione had not seen Draco yet. She climbed down their room and walked through the charms classroom when Nearly Headless Nick walked up to her.

"Oh Hermione! Moaning Myrtle was looking for you." He said right before walking through a wall. Confused, Hermione changed her path and went to the deserted bathroom.

"Hello?" She asked.  A soft cry filled the room, she opened the door and saw Draco and the floor bleeding. Without thinking twice she rushed to his aid. She kneeled down next to him and pulled his body into her legs "Help!" She yelled, but no one would answer. They were all in the Great Hall, far far away from here.

She took out her wand and placed it on his chest and started muttering charms and spells. Slowly the blood returned to the open wounds and closed.

"Draco... you are okay... don't worry....I'm here..."  she whispered into his ear. Draco opened his eyes a little bit.

"Hermione...?" He asked quietly opening his eyes a little more.

"Yes... yes... I'm here..." she said, a tear slipping down her red cheeks. "Myrtle!" She called out. A grey figure flew out a cubicle. Her usual laughing or crying face was gone, a worried face was there.

She was looking down. "Yes?" She whispered.

"Call- call anyone! Call Professor McGonagall, Dumbledore and Snape and Madam Pomfrey. Please and be quick!" She nodded and flew down into the floor.
