CHAPTER FIVE
vol i — family feud!

THE TWO TELMARINES had gone back to their tent that they had slept in, Caspian off in his own world, packing whatever they needed. Alex sat on the ground, a pout on her lips as she tried to get his attention, but nothing worked ( curse his obliviousness ). Her annoyance was growing with each second she was ignored, wondering what she could do to grab his attention. She stood up, walking over to the boy, wrapping her arms around his waist. Caspian let out a hum of content, stopping to loop his arm around her shoulder, looking down at the girl. When he noticed her eyes closed, he loosened the grip she had on him, turning his body around, and pressing a kiss to the crown of her head.

"What's wrong love?"
"I want your attention."
"Well, you have it now."

Caspian lifted her chin up, leaning down and littering kisses all over her skin. Small laughs left her chapped lips, Caspian letting out a smile at the wonderful noise. His fingers pinched the bottom of her chin, lifting it, and meeting her halfway, pressing his lips to hers. When their lips met, sparks flew, the flame between them growing with each kiss, the heat hot enough to burn anyone who tried to separate them. They both wanted more than what they had going on, but were to scared of rejection to follow their confession. So, they buried that part of themselves deep down, hidden behind numerous walls, the feeling banging down them, only to run into another one.

As the kiss turned more passionate, Caspian let his fingers trail down to the strings if her corset, fumbling until he managed to undo them, the corset falling to the ground. Her hands blindly reached down to the buttons on his shirt, trying everything to make sure they came undone, wanting to feel skin on skin. Caspian removed his arms from her hips, helping her with removing the buttons, the same desire burning through his body as hers. Alexandra slowly slid the shirt off his shoulders, Caspian helping her remove it from his arms as he grabbed the bottom of her shirt, pulling it over her head. As she went for his belt, wishing the item would undo it himself, the tent flap flew open, shouts coming from the entrance.

"Oh god! Oh god!" Susan yelled. She raised her hands to her eyes, wishing that she could burn what she just saw out of her memory. Heat crawled up her face, red becoming prominent. Caspian and Alex flew apart from each other with wide eyes, feeling mortified at what had just taken place. "Are you done?"

"Yeah," Alex said, finishing up the final few buttons of her shirt, slipping the corset around and turning to Caspian so he could tie it for her. "What did you need us for?"

"Oh! Right. I was told by one of the fauns to give you new clothes," Susan said. She picked the clothes from where she had dropped them when her hands flew to her eyes, handing them to the pair.

"Thank you," Caspian said, taking the clothes. Susan walked out of the tent, leaving the two to turn to each other and start laughing, the scenario not seeming real. "I can't believe that just happened."

Alex buried her face in her palms, letting out a groan. "I don't want to leave this tent. Can we stay?"

"No, my love. I have a throne to claim."
"And I have your uncle to kill."
"Your favorite task."

Alexandra nodded her head, watching as Caspian got undressed in front of her. He stripped himself of his pants, switching them out for the ones they had just received. Alex wouldn't move her eyes from his body, following every dip of his muscles, captivated by his body. Caspian's looked like he had been chiseled by the Greek God's own hands, everything perfectly planned when they were creating him. She snapped herself out of her daydream, striping herself of her own clothes. Susan had brought her a emerald green corset, a white shirt to go under it, showing off her figure and every scar she had placed on her body. Her hands wrapped around the black skirt that had been brought, lifting it up her body, a slit down the side of her leg there for movement.

"Are you done checking out the slit in my skirt?"
"Nope."
"Shut up. We have to go, so deal with your issue."

( ...🌼... )

ALEX HAD LEFT Caspian behind at the tent, wanting him to deal with the issue she had left him with. Susan was unable to look her in the eye, the small red blush coating her cheeks when she caught sight of the girl walking towards their small group. Susan's blush grew bigger when Caspian joined them, standing close enough to Alexandra to cause it to grow, the memory of what she had walked in on playing in her mind like a bad dream. Caspian managed to find his way behind Alex, pushing his face into the crook of her neck, wanting to hide from the world. He wasn't proud of what happened and he wasn't happy that she left him to deal with it on his own.

Trufflehunter managed to get the boy out of his state. "We're leaving. I have a gift for you two."

"Oh, I love surprises," Alex said. Trufflehunter motioned the two of them to follow him, starting to walk without making sure they were following him. Alex let out a bright smile, excited to see what was going to be brought out for them. She grabbed Caspian's hand, dragging the boy behind her, ignore the chuckles that left his lips at her excitement. The two had followed the badger to a fallen log, Alex immediately noticing Regulud and Destier tied up to it, letting out a girlish squeal, looking up at the wide-eyed face of Caspian. "Don't look at me like I have three heads."

"Your just squealed. Sorry for worrying."
"I apologize for being happy to see my baby."
"What am I? Chopped liver?"

"Yes," Alexandra said looking up at the boy with an unapologetic look. Caspian placed his hand over his heart, an offended look on his face as he looked down at the girl. Alex looked away from the boy, starting towards Regulus. "Your heart is on the other side idiot."

Caspian looked down at his hand that was placed on the right side of his chest. "Oh." He quickly put his hand down, a small blush coating his cheeks at his stupidity, shrugging it off to go tend to Destier.

Trufflehunter had an amused look on his face as he started between the two, the situation in front of him too funny to do anything but laugh. When Alex reached Regulus he put his head down to rest on her shoulder, hugging the girl he had missed dearly. He didn't understand why he had been left alone, but he was entirely grateful to be reunited with his girl. Caspian watched the two for a moment before heading over to Destier, running his hand over his horse's slick black coat. Alex leaned back to press her face in Regulus's nose, peppering kisses on his snout, specifically the white star that was on his nose.

"We must leave, unless we want to be caught unprotected," Glenstorm said, walking over towards the two teenagers, disrupting the moment they were having with their horses.
