Alexandra and Caspian had grown up side by side inside the walls of the Telmarine castle. Brandishing each other with nicknames, they bonded like no other. Their souls bled for each other — not that they knew that. Their adventurous spirits got them into trouble, but they never minded, as long as they were together. Their friendship grew stronger, but complicated as they got older. Feelings grew like vines from a tree, encircling their hearts.

   They shared kisses in the shadows, letting the vines reach closer to touching. They were addicted to the feeling of their lips touching, wanting it more than anything. Despite feeling like this, neither of them wanted to confess their feelings, afraid they would be rejected. It broke a small bit of their heart each time they were close to saying it, but never did. Tt was all they wanted, clouding their judgement, making them almost slip up. It was safe to say:

They were enamored with each other.
