The morning after jeeva came back to ps home with meena....

All were waiting for jeeva and was shocked to see him with meena... After hearing all the things happened in meena's house, they couldn't say anything....

Murugan sees the auspicious day and fixes a day after a week...

L : appa anike vechukalam...yena moorthy solre...

Mo : sari than ma... aana nichayam, nalangu, mapillai alaipu, matha sadangu yelam ma???

J : athellam yethuku ne...avanga veetula ivalo prachanai....kalyanam mattum simple ah panna pothum... vera ethum venam...yena solre meena...

Me : yethum vena jeeva.. amma appa illama kalyanam panikarathe oru madhiri iruku... mathathelam yenala yosika mudiyala.. yethum venam...

J : nanum athan ne solren... simple ah panunga..

Ka : annane soliduchu.. apuram yenna aduthu kalyana saapadu than eh...

K : adei yepa paaru soru soru soru....

All laughed at kanna and sametime they started thinking about kathir mullai marriage...

D : yen atha....annike kathir mullai kalyanamum vechukalama??? Yena solrenga chithapa...

Murugan and parvathy never wanted a simple marriage for their daughter when they had so many dreams about their only daughter...
Even she had so many which she mentions everytime...
But is it right time to speak about it, that too infront of a couple who has agreed to get married in this way....
They definitely dont know how people around will take their views in a positive note...
If they don't, then it will be a problem for their daughter....

Sametime, They noticed Kathir and mullai looking at each other....
They felt when they are so much in love what is the point in dragging too much and delaying the marriage...

When all these talks were going on, kathir noticed that mullai is not happy with the proceedings....
Her eyes were disappointed though she managed a normal smile in her lips....
Even for a second, he couldn't take her disappointment...
He gestured her to follow him and left the place silently...

Kathir went straight to the kinathadi followed by mulllai....

M : yena mama....yena achu yethuku kupita....

Kathir thought for a second....
If mullai has been really happy with the confirmation of marriage talks, she would have hugged and kissed him immediately showing her happiness...
But she is just less than normal...

Mullai started to reply but again kathir shut her with his gesture of love....

He put his right hand on her cheek softly and looked deep into her eyes...

Mullai just checked for the surrounding and started...

Little drops emerged out or mullai's eyes...

She smiled a little pinching his cheeks....

She rushed to backyard...

Kathir just stood there without moving....
He is very sure she is gonna tear up...

Kathir is always a man with simple thought process...
Be it dress or his vehicle or thoughts or words or expressions, he keep it simple...
Same thing applies to functions too...
He always thought too many customs are just waste of time though each one has separate definition on its own....
He always thought well spent functions are waste of money and energy...

But it doesnt mean everyone has to think in the same way...
He didnt find anything wrong in mullai's way of thinking...
Yes its their marriage...
A onetime event of their life that can never happen again...
Whats wrong to do as she wish...
Why should it be changed for others sake...

Yes she expect it to be grand which contradict his thoughtz...
But whats wrong in her wish....
He literally toil in the shop for more than 12 hours a day and earn money...
Cant he spend his hard earned money for her happiness..
If he cant do it, then what's the point in working hard...

She wants her marriage to happen with every beautiful custom...
Each custom has a beautiful meaning of its own....
Each custom has a beautiful commitment in it....
She wants her marriage to have that meaning and commitment...
Nothing wrong in that too....

And lastly, the one she spoke about her parents definitely is something to be taken into account....
Being only child, definitely they will have own wishes...
their own expectations...
their own imaginations....
She wants her parents wishes to be taken care too...
Just because there is some restriction in his home for his brother's marriage style, should they impose the same to them....
Off course their wishes cant be taken for granted....
But as per his understanding about her parents, their wish will be always her wish...
No doubt in it...
So when he fulfils her dreams automatically it ll give them happiness....

Determined Kathir walked throught the living room and saw the discussions about marriage preparations were still going on....

It was about something about which temple to choose for marriage...
He didnt interrupt...
He waited...

Meanwhile mullai came into the living room with bright smile contradicting to her dull eyes.....

The discussion got over....

Jeeva took meena out to shop to get dresses for her as she didnt take any from her house...
Kannan left to college...

It was just elders with kathir and mullai..

Kathir felt this is the right time...

Her tears were waiting for her approval to fall down...
Murugan and parvathy know these words were mullai's longtime wish...
She had told these to them N number of times...
They always wanted to do it inspite of their financial crisis what ever may come.....
But recent turn of events made them go against her wishes....
But they understood one thing clearly....
They neednt do anything now for their daughter hereafter..
Its just time for sit and watch...
Their son in law will pull mountains for her...

Dhanam left to prepare lunch so that mullai's family can take it with them and kathir can take it to shop...

Murugan and parvathy went inside with lakshmi leaving kathir and mullai alone..

With a smirk, kathir went inside his room expecting her to come..

Offcourse, she came like a storm hugging him tight....

He could feel her tears in his tee...
