In the morning, when everyone are doing their chores..

Malini- "seetha ma, thanni illa. theenthu pochu" (Seetha ma. Water is gone. No water here.)

Seethaa- "athukulla theenthu pocha? nethu evening thane motor poten. (It gone so soon. I loaded water yesterday evening only)" Sivaangi sneezed.

Jai ram -"Ippo intha araichi romba mukiama? Nan motor potuten" (No need to analyze that. I started the motor.)

Sivaangi sneezed. Rakshan and Raj hid their smiles. Ashwin came there with Kasayam.

Ashwin- "intha itha mattum kudichudu" (Just drink this)

Sivaangi- "vendam please. romba karama iruku" (No Please. It is very spicy)

Ashwin- "illa di, sugar potruken. Itha kudichutu thaen sapidu. Please di, light ah kudi" (No, I added sugar in it. You can also have honey after drinking this please have.)

 Sivaangi- "please vaathi" 

Ashwin- "please di"

Sivaangi struggled a lot to drink it. Rakshan began speaking when she was done.

Rakshan- "naan oru puthu company start panalam nu iruken pa" (I plan to start a company of my own dad.)

Jai ram- "santhosamana visayam pa. enna idea la iruka?" (Very happy dear. What is your idea?)

They got started talking about the company. Within minutes, Raj and Ashwin also joined them in their talk.

Rakshan- "apuram, Ashwin help panrenu solirukaan. So avan thaan ithula en Partner" (Following that, Ashwin promised to assist. My partner is him.)

Ashwin- "nana?" (Me?)

Raj- "nee than" (Yeah, you.)

Ashwin- "illa machan..Naan paathi amount invest panren company la. Sivaangi ku una pola work pananum nu asai. ava partner agatum"
(No Machan. I'll put half of the money into the business. Sivaangi wants to work like you, so make her your partner.)

Rakshan- "ava chinna ponnu da. avala epadi partner aakurathu" (She's a young girl. How on earth is she a partner?)

Raj- "ava partner agurathu nee ethuku invest pananum mapla. Inum unaku kalayanam agala, so ippo ava partner aana full investment um naanga pathukarom. kalayanathuku apuram nee pathuko"

Ashwin- "enna machan?" (Why Machan?)

Rakshan- "athu sari ippo yen ne othuka matikura atha sollu" (Then what is the reason for your denial?)

Ashwin- " illa da, Sivaangi ku thaan antha job pudichuruku athaan. ava worker ah irukuratha vida owner ah irukanum nu ninaikuren daa"
(Sivaangi likes this job. I want her to own the place rather than just be a worker there.).

Sivaangi eyes widened on hearing his words.

Rakshan- "nee partner ah iruntha papa worker agiduvala? apaium ava owner wife thane. dei enaku oru visayam puriala, en sister ah un wife ah avaluku thaan oru vagiyile company ae sontham. nee yen theva illama yosikura."
(Do you thing she will become a worker if you become a partner? If so, she must be the owner's wife. I fail to comprehend this. She is the actual owner of this business because she is my sister and your wife. Why do you think in this manner?)

Ashwin- "ava parnter ah iruntha avaluku athu oru identity ah irukum. Namala vachu oru identity illama, avaluku oru thani identity irukum Machan. Yosichu paaru"
(She will have a distinct identity if she is a partner. Her identity shouldn't be determined by us. Consider that.)

Raj- "papa kunu thaniah adayalam venumna ava thaniah company start pana thaan undu." (It means, then she need to start a separate company.)

Jai Ram turned to face Sivaangi. Not knowing what to do, she was staring at everyone with blankness.

Jai ram- "sari patrnership irukatum. First money ku enna idea vachirukeenga?"
(Okay leave the partnership part. What is your idea about investing money?)

Rakshan- "enkita amount iruku pa. athu poga en parents oda jewels ellam iruku. atha vachu manage paniduven"
(I have amount daddy. I have my parents jewels too. I can manage with that)

Ashwin- "naan loan podalam nu iruken sir." (I plan to put a loan sir)

Seetha- "loan ah? ethuku loan ellam podanum. Nanga than irukom la naanga thara matoma?" (Loan? Why ? We are here, we will give.)

Ashwin- "mam athu vanthu..." (Mam, actually I..)

Seetha- "amma va than ethuka matikura... kadankari ya koodava ethuka maata" (You refused to acknowledge me as your mother. Will you not take me on as a loaner?) 

Sivaangi- "amma, enna ithu enna ennalamo pesureenga" (Ma, Whey are you talking like this?)

Seetha started to cry. 

Jai ram- "vidu ma, avan thaan vaanga matannu theriumae."
(Its okay ma. We know that he won't take from us. right?)

Sivaangi- "ram pa, neenga kodukuratha iruntha evlo kodupeenga?" (Ram pa, How much will you give?)

Ashwin looked at her surprised.

Jai ram- "evlo venumo atha tharen. comapany start pana full amount um venumna kooda koduka mudium ma."
(how much is required. Even the whole amount is possible for me.)

Sivaangi- "thangam, appa amma nagayai ellam vika vendam. ipothaiku nee ram appa kita kadana vangiko" (Thangam, You just take loan from dad, don't sale the jewels. )

Rakshan nodded his head. 

Sivaangi looked at Ashwin and said, - "enanga konjam ulla vaanga, Please" (can you please come inside). Sivaangi and Ashwin went inside the room. 

Inside the room,

Ashwin- "convince panna poriah di? " (Are you going to convince me?)

Sivaangi- "athellam illa. enaku avlo arivu ellam kidaiyathu. ungakita rendu visayam share panikanum"
(No. I don't know a lot of things. Just two little items to share with you.)

Ashwin- "enna di?" (What)

Sivaangi- "Ungaluku enna partner aakanum asai nu puriuthu. But enaku onume theriathu vaathi. ini thaan ellame kathukanum. ippo naan partner ah iruntha athu ennamo naan dummy ah anga irukura mathiri thonum. Thiramaiah valathukitu apuram partner agikatuma?"
(I know you wish to make me as partner. But I have no knowledge of that. I have to become fully educated. I will be a fictitious owner there if you make me a partner right away. Can I first w ork on myself??)

Ashwin smiled at her and said, "adutha visayam" (Next thing?)

Sivaangi- "utkarunga" (Sit)

He sat on the bed and she sat on his lap. she started to rotate his shirt button and said,

Sivaangi- "Romba kastama irukum vaathi, Jeevan enna athai nu koopdum bothu. Apadi onum enaku thaimai pathi theriathu, aana enaku avan amma nu koopdanum yetkama iruku. Avan anniya amma nu koopdum enaku apadiae..."
(When Jeevan addresses me as aunty, it really stings. I don't have a lot of mothering experience. Yet I yearned for him to say "mom." When he refers to my sister-in-law as mom, it hurts.), she got struck...

Ashwin- "kannamma", he hugged her tightly.

Ashwin- "naan avana koduka solli thappa guide panitena kannamma?" (Did i took a wrong decision, Kannama?)

Sivaangi- "illa vaathi. appo athu thaan sari. Nadanthatha vidu. Enaku Naanum seetha ma vum ore nilamaila irukura mathiri thonuthu. en yetkatha un kulanthai vanthu theethu vachudum konja naal la. aanaa Seetha ma yetkatha nee thane theethuvaikanum"
(No Prof. The moment is appropriate. Let the past go. Both Seetha mom and I are in the same circumstance. When your baby is born, it will take care of my yearning. But only you are capable of addressing Seetha ma's yearning.)

Ashwin shed tears remembering his past.

Sivaangi- "naan unna amma nu koopda solala, athu un istam. But at least vilagama iru pa. Pillaiya piriyura vali romba kodumaiyanathu vaathi" (I'm not forcing you to refer to her as your mother. But at least don't keep your distance. It hurts a lot to keep your distance from your son.)

Ashwin - "hmm, Nanum enna appa nu koopduvan nu ethir paathen, kanavoda irunthen, aanaa..." (Hmm. I too expected him to call me as appa, but ...), he wiped his tears and hers. 

Ashwin- "naan avangala yengavacha paavam thaan ippo naama namma pullaiah pirinchu irukomo?" (So because of my sin, are we separated from our son?)

Sivaangi- "Romba yosikatha vaathi. Avan namma kooda than irukaan, vilagi nikala. Aaana nee vilagi nikura vaathi, Seetha ma vum ram appavum paavam pa" (Don't think too hard. Just our son is with us. Yet, you keep your distance from them. Ram dad and Seetha ma are pitiful.)

Ashwin - "hmm, puriuthu. vaa polam" (Understood. come lets go)

Sivaangi- "hmm".

Both came before everyone.

Ashwin- "naan panatha vaangikuren. Aana oru condition iruku" (I accept money from you on one condition)

Seetha- "enna raasa?, ethunalum sollu seiyurom" (What? We will do whatever you say)

Ashwin- "neenga en appa amma va kodukanum" (You should give me as my parents.)

Incredibly stunned by his remarks, Seetha and Jai Ram remained frozen to the spot. Ashwin stumbled on their feet and apologized repeatedly. Malini turned to face the television playing the situational song, turned up the volume, and then activated the camera to record the wonderful moment.

When Raj and Rakshan looked proudly at Sivaangi, Sivaangi was gazing longingly at Jeevan.They both exchanged glances after being completely shocked. Their hearts were torn apart by the hunger her eyes conveyed. Raj and Rakshan both recognized how Sivaangi persuaded Ashwin. 

After a while, they gathered their composure. Ashwin assisted them in standing. When they heard Jeevan's sobs, everyone awoke to reality.

Ashwin went to see Jeevan as Malini halted her recording. Seetha mumbled "Thank you" as she turned to face Sivaangi while keeping her hands in a pose of prayer. 

Sivaangi rushed to Seetha and said, "ma, ennama neenga... (Ma, Why like this?)", she forced her to put her hands down.

Jai ram kept his hands on Sivaangi head and said, "nee nalla irupa ma, santhosama valuva. (Long live happily dear)", he blessed and went to do his chores. 

Everyone did their chores. Sivaangi and Ashwin started to college. Raj and Rakshan went to office. To inform Vishnu and Suriya of the event, Seetha and Jai Ram made a phone call. As a family group, Malini showed the video. When they first saw the video, Vishnu and Suriya were ecstatic. They praised Malini for capturing this special occasion.

In college,  Ashwin took the class and  taught his syllabus. In the last 10 minutes he stopped teaching.

Ashwin- "Okay Students. Ippo general things pakalam." (Okay students. Lets discuss general things)

Students- "yes Sir"

Ashwin- "ippo unga kita naan ore oru question thaan keka poren. Nalla yosichu unga pathila oru paper la eluthi kodunga. Unga name eluthanum nu avasiyam illa. Enoda next period la naama itha discuss panalam. okay va. ready ah?"
(I am going to ask you all a question. Think and write your answers in a paper. No need to write your name in that. We will discuss about that in my next period. Okay? Ready?)

Students- "ready sir"

Ashwin- "which is best Love or Friendship? and What makes to you decide that?"

Students started to write their answers and submitted to him. He left once his period ended. 

In the afternoon, he came to the class for his period.

Ashwin- "Students, Lets move on to the topic"

Student 1- "Sir, please antha question pathi discuss panidalam sir" (Sir Shall we discuss about that question?)

Ashwin smiled and said, "okay, Majority ah illa illa almost neriah per friendship than best nu solirukeenga"
(However, the vast majority of the respondents said that friendship is the best.)

Students clapped. 

Ashwin- "but naan itha keka ore oru karanam thaan iruku" (But I asked this question for a reason)

Student 2- "enna sir?" (What sir?)

Ashwin- "mostly ellarum friendship than nu eluthirukeenga. athuku romba aalamana oru incident um eluthirukeenga. but yen antha friendship ah Opposite gender kita expect pannavo illa kodukavo matikureenganu puriala"
(The majority of people mentioned friendship as having the most profound incidence. Then why didn't you anticipate or provide the same for the opposing gender?)

Student went silent with a confusion.

Ashwin- "opposite gender ah iruntha love thaan varanuma? friendship varatha?"
(Does only love with the opposing sex feel possible? Do you not have a friend?)

Student 3- "appo love pana koodathu friend ah vae iru nu solreengala?" (So, you tell us not to love and only be a friend?)

Ashwin laughed at him and said, "yen iruka koodathu?" (Why can't you be?)

Students looked at him with a shock.

Ashwin- "neenga ellarume matured thaan. ungakita naan sila questions kekuren. answer solanum nu avasiyam illa, but yosinga" 
(You are all responsible adults. Let me ask everyone of you a few questions. You don't need to explain that. Just consider it.)

Students- "yes sir"

Ashwin- "Kadhal nu sonna odaneye, alaga rasika arambichudareenga, konjama athula kamathaium thanave feel pana arambichudareenga. aana yen ungalala friendship ah feel panave mudiala.."
(As you commit to love, you naturally begin to appreciate beauty, which  evokes feelings of lust. But why don't you sense a friendship there?)

Everyone looked at him without blinking.

Ashwin- "Naan kadhalikatheenga nu solala. Love is a beautiful feel, it is a meaning of life. But naan kekurathu ore oru visayam thaan, intha degree complete panra varaikum kooda ungala friend ah iruka mudialaina, neenga epadi marriage ku apuram kanavana piragum, oru appavana piragum kadhalana iruka mudium" 
(Not that I'm against love, exactly. Love is a wonderful feeling and the purpose of life. So how can you be a lover after getting married and having children if you can't be a friend while you're in love until you graduate?)

Students- "puriala sir" (Can't get you sir.)

Ashwin- " strict ana manishanukulla thaan romba pasama na appa irukar. unga future kaga avar atha velipaduthurathu illa. Ammavoda karuvula irukura kulanthai pola natpoda karuvula irukula kadhal romba punithamanathu. Mudhalla ovorutharum natpoda palagunga, oruthara oruthar purinjukonga. inga irukuravarikum natpukullaye kadhal valaratum. padipu mudiura varai kooda unga kadhal kathirukatha?"
(Every strict person has a father inside them. He is not showing his affection for you in order to safeguard your future. Friendship love is similar to a baby in a mother's womb. Be friends first, comprehend one another, and keep your love in your friendship till you graduate. Will your love not wait until then?)

Student 4- "sir, nalla friend ah palagitu propose pannum pothu antha ponnu naan apadi ninaikala nu solita?"
(Sir, What will we do if, after interacting as friends, she rejects our love?)

Ashwin- "natpula mattum than athu nadakutha. Love panitu break up panreengale, appo athu?"
(Is it happens only in friendship? Why you break up after falling in love?)

Student 5- "epadium break up than nu solreengala?" (do you mean, anyhow break up is final? ), everyone laughed.

Ashwin- "illa nga. cinema nija vaalkai illa. oruthar namma mela vaikura anbu namaku therinjudum. namalala unara mudium. alaga paathu pudichurunthalum, manasa paathu kadhalinga. Natpoda palagum pothu orutharoda nilamai innorutharuku theliva purinjudum. yaraium avanga suyathoda accept panika vaikum. Antha thelivu vaalkaila mukiamana mudivugala eduka uthavia irukum"
(No. Real life is not like what you see in films. We are capable of experiencing other people's affection. Despite our obsession with beauty, we should love from the heart. You'll instantly have a clear understanding of the other person and the issue. Your decision will be clear due to that clarity.)

Student 1- "sir, ithellam..." (sir, all these...)

Ashwin- "padipa mudikura varaikum kadhal la natpu matum irukatume, kamam illama. naan yaraium itha follow panunga nu order panala. May be oru challenge ah eduthu try panunga nu thaan solren. Ungala mudiathunna vendam. At last inthu unga valkai.  Natpala thaan anaithai nra varthaium thanimaium alinjutu varuthu. yosinga". 
(Let you stay friends until you earn your degree. You are not being told to do this by me. Consider it a challenge and give it a shot. Leave if you are unable to. Finally, it's your life. Loneliness and the term "orphan" have both been destroyed due to friendship.)

He used words carefully to provoke the students. Students began to reflect. He simply smiled at them before beginning to lecture.
