The action of hitting an opponent after a successful deception.

Ladybug swung above the school courtyard and landed at the top of the stairs. She quickly surveyed the scene below her in order to defeat the akuma as efficiently as possible. She did not see the distinctive purple outfit of Lady Wifi – but she did notice that Chat was backed up into a corner fending off a group of angry students. Swinging out her yo-yo, she dropped next to Chat. Chat looked across at her in relief.

'So glad you're here Ladybug, We're in a bit of a tight spot.' Ladybug glanced behind Chat and scowled. Chat was protecting Chloe behind him. 'So I gather all this mess is about Chloe? Ladybug asked as she pushed back students with her spinning yo-yo shield. Chloe hung her head but did not reply. 'So once again causing akumatisations without thinking about the consequences. Seems I was right about you' Ladybug grimaced and looked at Chat. Let's get this done before someone gets hurt. Where's Lady Wifi?'.

'She's not here – but I'll play with you.' intoned Gamer as he sent a second wave of students at the pair of heroes. Ladybug looked at Chat confused – 'Gamer? I thought Alya...' Chat shifted his position and replied 'It's much more complicated than that I'm a-fur-raid. The akuma is in Alya's tablet, but she's not Wifi. She's Oblivio. The rest are linked to her.' Ladybug processed what Chat was saying and noticed Dark Cupid and Silencio standing close to Gamer. She wondered how she had missed them earlier. Was she so focused on finding Lady WiFi that she didn't even survey the scene properly?

'I don't see Oblivio. Where are they?' Ladybug said. 'Sorry Ladybug – I haven't seen them since the fight broke out. I've been purr-etty busy.' Chat explained. 'More like distracted. Wasting your time protecting her while Hawk Moth uses our friends against us. I'll find them' Ladybug snapped angrily. She swung out her yo-yo and flew back up out of sight. Chat was shocked that Ladybug had suddenly left him in the middle of the fight without telling him her plan. He was not the only one that noticed her uncharacteristic actions.

Some distance away, Hawk Moth's mask appeared across Oblivio face. 'Oblivio, Ladybug will be coming for you – be prepared.' Hawk Moth had seen Ladybug leave Chat trapped in the corner, but he was not surprised. It played perfectly into his plan – he suspected that Ladybug had not completely recovered from their last battle. He had felt a taste of her anger and frustration that day – but it had been fleeting, tempered by Chat's declaration that they would always fight together. Hawk Moth saw her a chip in her defences that day. If he could find a way to isolate her – that anger would grow.

Attacking her former team was part of that plan. Since the former heroes went to the same school as Chloe, Hawk Moth surmised that it was likely that the heroes did too. Or at the very least lived nearby. Chloe had not outlived her usefulness just yet. If he could use her to akumise her classmates, there was a definite possibility that Ladybug would be overwhelmed by her sense of responsibility and he would be closer to akumatising her. An akumatised Ladybug would be persuaded to hand over her miraculous and the black cat's one wouldn't be far behind. Hawk Moth grinned to himself. Teenagers were so emotionally unstable – he wondered how much more he would have to take from Ladybug to push her past the breaking point.

'Gamer, it's time to go to the next level. Grab the cat and leave Chloe to her 'friends'. Oblivio is waiting for your company. Meet them at the place they hope to forget.'

Chat was tired andwithout Ladybug he was struggling to push back the waves of students trying to getto Chloe. He saw the mask appear on Gamer's face and suddenly all the studentsstopped moving. Hawk Moth must have ordered them to stop. Unfortunately, Chat'sbrief pause and unwillingness to use all his strength to fight his friends meantthat he was caught off guard and easily captured. Two strong arms wrappedaround his torso, pinning his arms. 'Does my hug leave you breathless?' DarkCupid chuckled as he squeezed. Chat struggled but he knew he couldn't cataclysmhis way out of this one. Before he lost consciousness, he hoped Ladybug couldfind Oblivio without forgetting about him.
