The First Allseeker

The GA council looked up in awe as they were led through the DECOM field and into the massive main atrium. The windows of the room had been sealed off to keep out the red mist, and life support generators were present in every major room, scrubbing the air of the toxic smoke, and allowing scientists to move and work in comfort as they examined history's most unprecedented and probably, most important find.

It was the chairwoman herself who noted the similarity in architecture to things she had seen while visiting earth, the same size, the same use of angles, the same general layout. The humans described it as eerily familiar, everything was in the place they expected it to be. Generators on the bottom floor, an executive office on the top floor, and a massive unfinished robotic structure in the middle, not unlike science fiction movies created by humans in the past.

Everything here was built using the logic one might associate with humans.

The group of them were led up through the floors passing by roving teams of scientist's hell bent on examining every square inch of the strange tower. Eventually they were led out onto a small landing and into a dark opening from which glowed a soft blue light. All around them this blue ambience glowed down upon thousands and thousands of small, unmarked drawers lining the hallways on either side of them as they made their way towards a central hub.

At the center stood a pedestal, and surrounding that pedestal was a team of humans

The chairwoman recognized most of them.

Admiral Vir

Dr. katie

Dr. Wilson

Narobi, the Omen's head engineer.

And Maverick, the ship's chaplain.

One of them was busily recording something,, the other three were excitedly jotting down notes or making dictations.

"Admiral." She announced stepping forward and causing the human's heads to jerk up from their work.

The Admiral gave her a tired smile, his eyes shot through with veins of red, the skin under his eyes taking on a sort of purple undertone.

"chairwoman, we're glad you could make it."

"This is.... An unprecedented find, and I cannot help but notice the similarities to previous planets we have visited."

The man blew out his cheeks, allowing the air to escape slowly, "I hardly know where to begin, chairwoman. The two planets are indeed connected, I am sure of that."

"Go on."

"I can't show you now, so you are just going to have to trust that what I say is fact, but the star cluster we are orbiting right now is Earth's polar north star called Polaris, interestingly enough it also marks Anin's southern star, which in itself could be coincidence. However, based on our understanding of star maps, we have found that Polaris marks the exact central point between Earth, Anin, the Red planet, and The Celzex home world, which in itself cannot be misconstrued as a simple coincidence.

There was a muttering up from the delegation behind her.

"Now that is four planets accounted for, but based on the angle of the planets to each other, in three dimensions I suspect that there are SIX planets or locations involved in the Polarus axis, the other two which just have not been found yet." He waved a hand at the room around him, "Furthermore when we got here, we found recordings."

There was a muttering of shock.

"Recordings, and you listened to them."

"Listened.... And understood."

It took a few minutes before he was able to calm them down again, "Yes, I am suggesting that the language being used here is the same language that was seen on the monoliths at the Red planet. Everyone you see here." He motioned to his little band of humans, "Are capable of understanding the recordings, though there are plenty of people who can't, and as far as I can tell, no nonhuman that can understand them."

"And what exactly do these recordings say." It was the Drev counselor who spoke up this time.

Admiral Vir scratched his head, "Well.... I don't want to be alarming, but the recordings detail.... What I believe to be the beginning of life in our universe."

Another chorus of gasps from the assembled delegates.

"Of course we will be providing transcripts of the recordings.

"If only humans can understand the recordings, than how can we trust you aren't just making it up." This was the Bran delegate, who had never liked admiral vir.

Though the admiral remained patient and understanding, "We are having our linguists take a look at the structure of the language, hopefully they can translate it for you. Logically speaking it would be a stupid thing to lie about a language that can be translated by your own scientists, furthermore, what we have discovered puts humans at no advantage."

"And what exactly do these recordings say?" The chairwoman asked

The human turned to look back at the pedestal, "Well essentially it implies the existence of a creator race called Makers, and their leader called the architect who..... were designing bodies capable of holding something called an Anima, which we are tentatively assuming to be something similar to the soul."

More uproar.

"Ludicrous."

"No such thing!"

He patiently waited out the outcry surprised as a slow hand was raised in the crowd as the human delegate stepped forward, "What you are saying is that these recordings imply the existence of god."

Adam shifted uncomfortably, "Well, not exactly."

The man waved a hand, "The "architect"." He held out his hands, "That is sounding just a little bit suspect to me admiral."

"Yes, yes. I know what it sounds like, but..... but its more complicated than that. We've been listening to these recordings and it..... well it isn't just some mumbo jumbo about magic or religion or something like that. Its science on a cosmic scale, stuff that I can barely understand much less comprehend. You can't just boil it down like that without having heard it."

"Well then, why don't you turn one on and let us hear it."

"You mean YOU, since the rest of us won't be able to understand." It was the Celzex delegate who pointed that out, and it caused a mummering to rise within the group of aliens.

Adam shook his head, "We recorded the first transcript for you. You are going to need it if you listen to the rest."

The delegation wasn't exactly pleased about it, but they were as intrigued as they were skeptical. All of this seemed to some, like an elaborate ploy by the humans, and the only reason they weren't sure that it was, was because there didn't seem to be a concrete end goal in mind. Everything the admiral was saying had really no bearing on anything political between the group of them. If anything a discovery like this was likely only to cause uproar among their own people.

No one entirely knew what to think.

And they certainly didn't know what to think as they listened to the transcribed recording, read in their chaplain maverick's voice.

Sitting in the darkness with the eerie blue light flashing, it was hard not to believe, just a little, that all of this wasn't just made up.

That there was a modicum of truth.

Adam hadn't wanted to invite the GA council so early, but he had known that any delay would only cement some of the criticism and skepticism further than it needed to be cemented. So he had called for them as soon as possible allowing other companies to bring in as many scientists as they dared in order to examine the building and prove his truthfulness.

The last thing he wanted to do was ostracize the GA on the horizon of learning of an intelligent creator.

He rubbed his forehead as he thought about the future, and the how and if regarding weather they were going to tell people about this finding. If it were true, it would rock the earth to its core. In certain cases it would probably increase loyalty among some groups of humans, but at the same time it had just as much chance of ostracizing a vast majority of the population.

"Admiral!"

He paused in his musings and walked over to where Dr. Wilson was standing over an open drawer.

In his hand he held a small silver ball not so different from the first ball they had.

The others inched over out of curiosity, standing around the man as he pointed inside the drawer.

The Eden project listed above a grouping of names.

Sandweaver

Those of Stone

Children of fire

Gembreakers

Suncaller

Huesinger

Allseeker

Adam was not sure why that last name caught his attention. He looked to the little compartment next to the name only to find it empty. Dr. Wilson and he exchanged a look as the other man held u the strange silver ball.

Adam nodded, and Dr. Wilson walked over to the pedestal and set the ball in its indentation stepping back as the room flashed blue.

"initializing.... Selecting Audio typography, location 5118208 selected.... Genesis: The Eden project..... Subgroup: Allseeker."

They waited a moment heads tilted in anticipation as the same cool female voice from before began to speak, "The process is still difficult, but not as slow as it once was. We have worked through the levels of Anima Powers Virtues Dominations and Thrones, but now we work on the housing of the Deus, the most powerful subtype with the highest power output. We have compiled our notes on past constructs, and are attempting to refine a design to contain all optimal previous traits for best containment. We have taken the design of a suncaller central locus with its four folded cortical hemispheres and reduced the size down to two, placing it within a calcium matrix. We believe that the folded membranes will help to hold the Anima in place by way of complexity, while still allowing for enough connection to run the construct. Optimal design output should result in Anima body connection, though the Anima should never fully understand the construct. The Calcium matrix was taken from our first and most originall design the huesinger. While the design was suboptimal in many respects, we believe that the general concept of the design has merit especially when it comes to the relation of the central locus to the motor hub. We have reduced the size of the central locus, increased its complexity and trapped it inside the matrix to dampen the power output, but not so much as to smother it like we did in our original design. We have stacked the central locus at the top, balancing upon the motor hub as we had done in our original design, but adjusted the proportions to be bigger. This should force the Anima to have a more difficult time controlling the construct, thus giving it less time to experience temporal slippage. We are sure the design should be complex, and must be able to contain and smother the high yield energy output. The design is, still flawed, like all constructs in an attempt to hold deus, but we are relatively pleased, and the architect has agreed to the blueprints. He seemed very pleased with them We have move on now to the process of creating our first prototype. From this central location we have noted the existence of a celestial body housing the correct celestial shape. During our work, it has managed to develop the primordial sludge capable of supporting the creation of the prototype. It is likely based on this design that life may have developed in its own time, though we initialized the process by way of the amplifier, which, after it's use, indicated complex strings of proteins present. We were very pleased with the progress as the spawnnest began to support life of its own. With optimal conditions the prototype was slowly grown over a matter of years passing through many iterations, first small and in water, finally developing vestiges from the motor hub, and eventually converting from liquid to gas . Before making it to the final prototype we were pleased to create subcarriers capable of housing the lower Anima. We began with powers and moved up to thrones before the first prototype was spawned. By order of the architect we chose the Deus wisely."

Adam and the others had taken a seat around the base of the pedestal to listen and take notes.

Adam found himself shaking his head in awe.

"The Deus chosen for the construct was willing to brave destruction but volunteered for the position. He was approved by the architect, and the prototype was proven a successful construct. We allowed them to proliferate and housed within them the deus."

"The first construct was given a name by the architect, in our own language."

"Adam, The first Allseeker."
