Low did my eyes droop

Each limb weighing an anvil

Each step I stumble

Before my vision begins to crumble

The bed I lie became more that home

As the outside world hides

Each fight, with either

Body or mind

The barrier that puts us down

Our fragile structure on the

Urge to break

All while we stare

As our life is paused

At the invisble force left

Our sense of safety expose

And touch our lives

With its deadly claws
