The drum inside me beats

Echoing through my racing mind

Coming doom looms over my

Cracking room that seems to shake and tremble

Closing in my suffocating lungs before

I could reach the door knob

That door sucks into them million of walls

Each of its beady eyes

Searching my wrongs. 

It strips my happiness and fun

Each step, it follows

Hiding in the dark shadows.

The faster the days come

And chases me as I walk along, 

Not very fond of life's song

To punch me in the gut.

Each step to a coming hit

But not before I stop and hesitate.

It smiles and waits

Yet always keeping close.

Even if I run and hide

My shaking breath it always seems to find

So kind to sign to ride my body and mind

To keep its torturing promise

To flash my mind of

A future in a

Dangerous universe.
