They pulled the door open. Heads turned towards us. A girl with long Bright pink hair, A black crop top, And Black leggings took one look at her “Oh Great...She’s Back. Please tell me you found someone to date?”

Luna scrunched up her nose “No thank you.”

The lady groaned and put on lipstick.

“Be nice Aphrodite.” A different woman stood up.

She Had long Blond hair, and dressed in jeans and a t-shirt. But her eyes were a startling Grey. “Im Athena. Now first things first. You need to be Immortal again.” She lead me by the shoulder into a makeup room of a sorts. Everyone here had a powerful aura.

“Now you have been mortal for some years now, and we have finally found you. But we need to undo what the Marthrules did to you.” Athena started running her hand through her hair. “Now You will recover all important information once your Immortal again.”  Athena started a chant in latin and greek perhaps. Athena frowed. She tried again. Same thing. After the chant, I felt no different.

“Umm.. am I supposed to feel different?” Luna raised an eyebrow.

Athena pursed her lips. “It...It..It didn't work. WHY didn’t It work?” She picked up the book she was reading and re-read it to herself over and over again.

“uhm..You trying to do a noverball or something?” Luna shifted uncomfortably.

Athena smiled at her, she started to say something but that girl with the pink hair came in.

What’s her name again? Aphrodits? Hepitis?

“Your Hepitis right?” Luna scratched her head.

She sneered at her. “Aphrodite you uncultured swine! Goddess of love and beauty!” She marched right past her and looked at what Athena was reading.

“I didn’t know you could read..” Athena grumbled as Aphrodite took the book from her.

“I can read! I read fanfictions all the time!” Aphrodite huffed.

“Just like Artemis’ brother, Apollo.” Athena sighed

“You sure you did this right? This looks complicated. I'm not even sure if Sam and Dean could do-” Aphrodite flipped through a couple of pages in the book.

“YES I DID IT RIGHT APHRODITE!” Athena yelled snatching the book back from the goddess.

 ‘Well could you tell me what is going on?” Luna frowned and crossed her arms.

“Sure. Uhm...You better sit down for this.” Athena pointed to a seat across the room.

Luna shrugged and sat down.

Aphrodite scrunched up her nose. “Still no sense of class. Close your legs.”

Luna frowned at her a decided to do the splits on the couch.

Aphrodite sighed and rested her head in her hands.

“Well.. You see about 17 years ago the gods broke into a civil war about the thing. Two sides came out of it. Marthrules and FleenUnited. Marthrules are our enemy. They believe in One ruler and slaves. FleenUnited on the other hand, is us. We believe in equality among the gods.”

Athena explained.  

“Whoa as in some slaves that are gods?” Luna Stood up as her eyes bulged out.

“Yes.” Aphrodite’s voice was in a whisper.

Athena nodded.

“That's not all.” Aphrodite glared at Athena.

“Come on- She Just got here! No need to overwhelm her!” Athena acted as if Luna was not right behind her.

“No. Tell me. Tell me all of it.” Luna said with as much firmness as she could manage. She didn’t need them to know she was overwhelmed already, and most certainly not let them know she was scared. Her arms had goosebumps.

“Well..If you insist.” Athena blushed

“Hecate,Demeter,Kratos,Ares,Hypnos,Janus, Tyche and several other minor gods chose the Marthrule side. Their mainly minor gods but Hecate- She’s their main play. Hecate is the goddess of magic, she knows spells,Curses and much more advanced and darker magic then any of us. No matter how much we learn, She will always know more.”  Athena took a break for a glass of water.

“Now as you see that's not a majority of the olympians. On our side we have Zeus, Poseidon ,Hades ,Hera, Hestia, Aphrodite, Apollo, Artemis, Iris, Hermes, Nike , Thanatos, The Muses, The fates, and several other minor gods. There are neutral gods as well. Lastly, about 15 years ago Hecate figured out how to turn gods mortal. That is how they have been taking out our ranks.We track them down and turn them immortal again.” Athena sighed and sat down.

For the first time since i've been here i was seeing her stressed and worried. How many has she lost?

Luna swallowed.

“But it didn’t work on me.” Luna whispered her eyes falling to the floor.

“Exactly.” Athena mumbled

“Mabey- Mabey you made a-a mistake?” Luna forgot all self consciousness and let the shakiness in her voice.

“No. We didn’t. Mortals cannot come in here.”

“How?! This is one the most popular buildings in the city?!” Luna threw her hands up.

“Well Dearie- Argus is Hera’s creation.He was made to watch things as you say. He guards a special access door you came in from.That leads to here.” Aphrodite grinned.

Probably the one time she knew something  I didn’t

“But Apollo said ‘She’s with me’ so i could be mortal..” Luna speculated. She chewed on her cheek. She wanted this all to be over and she could be a normal girl or person. She didn’t want any part of this.

“OI, dont bring me into this!” Apollo poked his head in. He was now wearing a Sun Bro’s shirt and khakis with flip flops.

“Make Me.” Luna rolled her eyes.

“She met Karkinos.” Apollo told them

“She WHAT!”  Athena choked on her water bottle.

“Whao whao- whos Karkinos?” Luna stopped them before her confusion could grow.

“You know the constellation Cancer?” Athena asked

Luna nodded. “It's my Zodiac. July 7th.”

“Well Hera created a giant crab to send after Hercules while he was fighting a hydra. But why would it go after you?”  Athena glared at Aphrodite.

“Does it look like I know?” Aphrodite crossed her arms.

“Don't mind her. She’s been a rude mess since Ares turned.”

“What I don't understand is why the other gods want to be slaves.” Luna leaned on the door frame

“That's the thing. They don’t. They all think they can win the top spot.” Athena smiled and straightened herself.

“Well I'm going to do some research. Go make acquaintance with the other gods.” Athena shooed both Luna and Aphrodite out of the room
