Something changed in Lucy. From the moment we began our walk back to my house something in her shifted and it's really bugging me because I can't put my finger on at this exact moment.

I'm sure it's for the better telling by the glow on her faces, she looks like a bit of weight got taken off her shoulders. Who knows maybe it did, maybe she finally came to terms with a part of herself and accepted it instead of running from it.

She's smiling now, at me. I can feel it. The tingles it gives me. I turn my head around to look at her and I'm stood correct when my eyes meet with hers.

We finally made it back to my house where everyone else is, so we're kinda just chilling in the kitchen.

"Can't you guys take that lovey dovey shit somewhere else?"gray groaned as he shoved another spoonful of cereal in his mouth.

I glared at him "hey! This is my house idiot." He shrugged "I can only afford my room here, since—" he shut up when Erza sent him a look from across the table. I smirked until she turned that evil look my way.

"Natsu. Gray."

"Yes Erza..?" We said in sync Lucy giggled and if I wasn't so terrified of the she devil in front of me I would have been day dreaming about it.

"How many times do I have to tell you, stop arguing!" She slapped her hands on the table and got up to walk out the door.

Was it just me or is she more pissed than normal?

"Well who pissed in her Cheerios." Gray muttered and put his bowl away then came back to his seat.

I shrugged turned towards Lucy who was watching the door Erza just walked out of. I raised my eyebrow at her but she didn't acknowledge it.

She is perfect. Truly, whoever her ex was sure is a major douche bag.

"I'm gonna go talk to her." She said getting up and I didn't say anything just let her go.

A moment of silence and gray says "your so whipped dude." I rolled my eyes so what. I'm falling for someone what does it matter.

"You know...I never thought I would see the day Natsu this towns ex- Casanova would settle for one girl. Normally you would have like a new girl on your arm each week." He snorted "I don't really see how but they found that bad boy attitude attractive. Not only have you stopped fucking around but- what ever happened to you breaking the rules?" I scoffed at him.

I can't believe he just brought that up. It's true I definitely wasn't a virgin. I was so young and stupid I wanted what every girl brought to me.

I have calmed down a lot, I really hope Lucy don't ever find out about all that.

I don't want her to lose interest, I'm in too deep now.

I know for a fact that this girl already has my heart.

"You just grow tired of the same routine after a while." I replied back to him and he nodded as if agreeing.

Lucy and Erza came back laughing. I must say it was kinda nice to see. Lucy maybe can stick around if she got Erza's attention.

I have never seen Erza laugh with another girl like that. Lucy is as radiant as ever. My heart started to pick up its beat, I could feel my face flush.

I couldn't help it! I just can't take my eyes off Lucy at this exact moment, her smile. The way her brown eyes sparkle. I really am whipped.

she took her seat beside me as erza returned back to hers as well, when she wasn't paying attention I whispered into lucy's ear. ''How did you get her mood to do a complete 180.'' She smirked a blush on her cheeks. 

''It's a girl thing.'' I was a bit shocked that she smirked. That was Hot as shit...wait. Did she really just hit me with the ' Its a girl thing ' I scowled at her.

''I wanna know, lucyyy'' I tried again but she wasn't giving it away. Oh well, we will probably find out later. 

We all were having a good time just chilling in the kitchen, Gray and Erza really seemed to have grown on Lucy. I can see the bond they are making with her just like me and her did. I really could get used to doing this. 

A few hours go by and lisanna comes back from the tavern. ''Hey guys!'' She waved and lucy tensed. I wrapped my arm around her shoulders to give her a sign that it was okay she just returned it with a smile. 

''Hey lucy! How are you doing?'' Lisanna asked her but lucy was hesitant to respond i gave her an encouraging nod. 

''I'm doing fine now, thank you for your help lisanna.'' She winked at Lucy ''I'm always there to help you! Please don't hesitate. Oh! I almost forgot. I have something for you.'' She digged in her purse and pulled out a white envelope I narrowed my eyes at it then looked to lisanna with a questioning glare.

she just smiled and handed it to lucy. ''It's a letter. Also You still have your job. come in tomorrow at the same time you did today.'' with that lis left to go off to her room. We all looked at lucy as she started to open the letter. 

''Read it out loud?'' Gray questioned and she nodded then gulped nervous almost.

I burst out laughing Gramps made him write her a letter that's honestly the best thing ever. ''Well that was something I never thought to see from gajeel. Even if he was forced I would believe he won't go down without a fight.'' Erza commented. 

''I have never received an apology after someone was mean to me before...'' 

''Well times have changed. Your walking into a new life lucy, best you learn that now.'' I said and she nodded a smile gracefully on her lips. 

Yeah I would definitely not mind having tons of days like this.
