"Rainy, will you go to the dance with me?" Cole looks at me holding a red rose and a box of chocolates.

We are in the doorway of my dorm. I was not expecting this.

"Of course I will Cole. You are so sweet."

I kiss him lightly on the cheek. And he playfully pushes me away.

"What! Do I have cooties?" I ask him.

"Yes you do," he says playfully.

I push him and take the rose and chocolate.

"Oh no Sunny is coming towards us. Hide!" I pull him into the dorm and into the bathroom. "Stay here," I say. I have such a good boyfriend to deal with this stuff.

I walk out and Sunny is in the dorm talking to Ivy.

"Sorry," I say "What are you doing here?"

Sunny turns to me and smiles, "I'm your friend, can't I just come visit you. Why are you holding chocolates and a rose? Did someone ask you? "

"Yeah," I say trying to come up with a lie in my head.

"Who?"

"Ummm you wouldn't know him."

Sunny looks suspicious "I know everyone in this school. Who?"

I remember Cole is listen in to everything we are saying. This makes me more worried.

"Trevor," Ivy says. I owe her.

"Oh Trevor. He is pretty nice. You guys will be fantastic together. Well, see ya. Alons-y!" She leaves.

Cole you can come out. He opens the door looking angry

"Trevor is an idiot!" He gives me a "why" look.

"How did she fall for that?" I ask Ivy.

I hear Cole mutter under his breath "Why wouldn't she."

"Shut up Cole," Ivy says.

"Ivy!" I say in an offended voice.

"She is going through a hard time. don't judge Cole. You are the one who gave her trust issues." Ivy says threateningly to Cole.

"It's not my fault she tried to kill herself!" Cole shouts.

Ivy looks shocked. she looks almost hurt. She didn't know.

"The poison?" she asks.

I nod.
