Gem puts her phone and tries to not cry. "I shouldn't cry. Friends have their ups and downs I shouldn't let that get to me" Gem mumbled to herself and went back reading try to not be a bother. After some time she heard the bell ring. She packed her stuff up and went to her class.

Once she got to class she sat next to Pearl who was humming to herself. She grabbed her stuff needed for the class and puts her head down until class began. After two minutes the teacher started taking attendance. Pearl eventually looked at Gem and wrote on a sticky note.

She threw it on Gem's desk while the teacher was distracted. Gem took note off her desk and read it. Are you okay? -Pearl. Gem puts the note down and nods to her. But that didn't sit right for Pearl. The teacher had left and everyone went on their phones. Gem heard her phone ding and checked it.

Private chat between Gem and Shelby

Shelbs: Gem are you okay? I know what the boys said was completely out of line so I wanted to check on you

GemGem: I'm fine, I just don't want to talk

Shelbs: That's completely fine I'll leave you be until your ready to talk

GemGem: Ty

Gem puts her phone away as the teacher came back. Hours passed and it was the end of the school day. She had still been ignoring her E2 friends. She felt someone lift her off the ground. "Ah!" Gem yelled and starts kicking her legs in the air. "Feisty much" Pearl teased.

"Oh god! PEARL!" Gem yelled with a huff. Pearl laughed and puts Gem down. "Anyways what's been ruffling your wings huh?" Pearl asked. Gem sighs and told Pearl about her situation with E2 while they walked. "Oh...Well I'm probably the best person to get helping advice as I ignore all my problems. But maybe try to tell them about it" Pearl said and Gem nods. "I'll try" Gem said and hugged Pearl.

"No problem shortie" Pearl said in a teasing tone before she felt Gem hit her arm. "Ow Gem that's very rude" Pearl said with a fake pout. "Oh your tough, you will be fine" Gem said as they got to Gem's house. "Well thank you Pearlie" Gem said and kisses Pearl's cheek before going inside. She did eventually tell the others about how she felt and they promised to try and not fight twenty four/seven.
