Shelby, Joey, and Kathrine

     Katherine watched as Shelby and Joey started to bicker, almost as if Katherine was property. She's been in these types of situations before, they were all so close to her though, she couldn't just drop them! She sighed out of frustration and just walked away, Shelby and Joey looking at each other then to her.

     Kathrine stepped through the portal, starting to head to her kingdom, where hopefully Joey and Shelby would try and work things out, together. This was gonna be a very long week.

     The next day rolled around and Shelby and Joey were getting physical. Lizzie was babysitting Hermes while talking to Katherine. Lizzie noticed her discomfort as she stiffened, going to sit up and get them away from each other. Their fights never lasted this long, and never ever got physical.

"How about you watch Hermes while I go talk to them?"

     Lizzie smiled as she got up, ruffling Hermes' hair. Katherine just nodded after she sighed, turning around as Lizzie left the room. Katherine smiled down at Hermes, seeing him play with a sheriff action figure. She found it slightly funny that the Sheriff would get all worked up like that, Hermes saw Jimmy as an idol, even if they never met. Joel would probably constantly talk about him to Hermes and Hermes would get more excited, even if he couldn't talk at all. Most of the emperors had to learn sign language so they could understand the fast hand movements Hermes made.

     Hermes looked up at Katherine with a big grin on his face, getting up to walk over to her as he set the doll on the desk.

{Do you think I'll ever be able to meet the sheriff?}

     Katherine giggled and gently patted his shoulder.

"Of course you will, maybe ask Thunder papa to take you to Tumble Town when you go see him next week yeah?"

     Hermes started bouncing up and down from excitement, who knew what was going on inside this little dude's head! They all wished he had a voice, just to hear how fast his imagination was going. Joel couldn't ever really figure out why he doesn't have a voice, odd.

     She glanced out the window seeing Lizzie pull Joey away from Shelby. Lizzie shouted at them and pointed up to the window she was in, causing them both to look up at her in the window. She had a sad expression on her face as she slowly closed the curtain, making the dimly lit room a soft pink color from the thin curtains. Hermes looked around the room and giggled loudly with excitement. She smiled as she got on the ground with him and started playing with dolls with him.

     Lizzie walked both Shelby and Joey home to keep them from arguing with each other again. Katherine was just overall overwhelmed with the situation she was just stuck in, it sucked! Why did they have to fight over her like she was property!? She wasn't! She just wanted them to get along for once. They started fighting with each other even more after Katherine wouldn't talk to them, and oh boy that one time she was sick. They only made it worse when they stood right in front of her, just arguing and bickering. She was about to snap. Why couldn't they just both love her? They did know she was poly right? She's sure she told everyone right? Was that why they were fighting over her? To see who could get with her first? She was just seen as a challenge they were trying to complete first.

     Weeks had passed with multiple people coming by to Katherine's, trying to see if she was okay. The windows and her doors were boarded up and she would constantly yell at the people who came by. She didn't even try with Shelby and Joey, she just stayed inside, not daring to lay an eye on them or even try to speak with them.

     Joey sighed as he walked up to Shelby's house, they needed to make a truce eventually. They couldn't always be fighting. He walked up to the door and gently tapped on it three times. Oh boy.

     Shelby opened the door up with a sour face and a bat in hand.

"I swear if your here to persuade me to leave just go or I'll-"

Joey raised his hands in surrender, taking Shelby by surprise.

"I thought you would only do that to Katherine.?"

Joey sighed and looked towards the direction of Katherine empire.

"Enough is enough and we need to help our friend, we have to be friends, and I'd love to be your friend, but first we gotta show we are friends to Katherine so we can help her."

     Shelby slowly nodded and walked further inside, setting the bat down to her armory. She opened a chest and pulled a small leather pouch out. Joey tilted his head and slowly walked over as she pulled out a similar bracelet, the majority of all the empires usually had on their wrists. Joey watched as Shelby grabbed his arms and slipped it onto his wrist.

"Friendship bracelet?"

Joey smiled as Shelby nodded.

"I was gonna give it to you at the start of the season, but all this fighting started between us."

     Joey smiled and pulled her into a hug, slightly laughing as Shelby squirmed around, trying to get comfortable in the hug.

"Appreciate it. Now let's go help Kath okay?"

     Shelby nodded and quickly grabbed her broom, running outside with Joey following right behind her.

     Katherine walked around her house, slowly spreading her wings out. The place was a total wreck, she should probably start cleaning up. She sighed as she made her way over to the front door, slowly taking the locks and furniture away and off of the door.

     She opened it and smiled, seeing Joey and Shelby holding hands together as they approached Katherine. Katherine almost instantly engulfed them both into a hug.

"I thought you guys would never get along!"

     They burst into laughter as they hugged each other tightly, Shebly and Joey being careful around the largers, fairy wings. Joey ran inside and turnt on all the lights, helping fix up the living room and Shelby followed after. Katherine smiled as they worked together to help clean up the house. This went better than expected, but Katherine was thankful, so thankful it hadn't gone badly or any other way.
