(In the other chapters the past Emperors/Empresses went shopping. In the first chapter they went shopping on Friday.
So just imagine that the latest chapter (chapter #1 2/3) was on Saturday and now this chapter it's Sunday, just so we can skip a day until school)

LIZZIE POV

I was on my bed, scrolling through my gorgeous, luxury phone (Lizzie loves to spend money but is responsible with what she wants/needs to buy) on wattpad. trying to find a book to read. Nothing caught my interest and so I'm dying of bored-ness.

"Why can't I find a simple book!" I said, loudly. there was a noise coming from my door. I looked over to see Jimmy, my lil brother who is about two years younger. "Is anything okay Lizzie? I heard shouting," He said, sitting beside me on the bed.

"Oh! Anything is fine. Right Anything?" I asked as the fish maid in my room agreed and continued with their work. "I- what- That isn't what I meant. what I meant was that; are you okay? you were shouting," Jimmy said as I looked at him with a smile. "I'm okay, I just can't find a good book! nothing to my interest." I say.

"Well, because it's almost the first day of school since the summer holidays... and one of your interests are shopping... how about we should do back to school shopping?" Jimmy asked, thinking when he paused. My eyes glowed with excitement.

"Yes!!!! Something to do!!! Come on jimmy!!!" I shouted, grabbing his wrist and dragging him along the corridors at full speed. Luckily we already had lunch so we wouldn't need to stop for food!

(Some minutes later)

I got a text message when I was just about to leave the ocean palace so of course I have to read and reply.

Sweet Flower (Katherine):
Hey Lizzie!

Sassy Axo (Lizzie):
Hey girlie!!!!!

Sweet Flower (Katherine):
I forgot that it's almost school! Can we got back to school shopping? We can bring Joel too~

Sassy Axo (Lizzie):
First of all; I am going back to school shopping with Jimmy so why not invite you too. And second of all; why do you keep talking about Joel in a weird tone around me. Is there something I should know?

(In empires, Joel is the one who proposed to Lizzie so that means in this AU Joel has a crush on Lizzie and not the other way around)

Sweet Flower (Katherine):
It's nothing! And yeah! Let's go shopping! I will invite Joel because he probably didn't go already, knowing how much he sits around not helping most of the time.

(Out of phone)

"Jimmy! We are now going to Katherine's!!!!" I shouted as I started to keep on running again. I jumped into the ocean with Jimmy so I could swim faster. (Merlings. Aka: Fish hybrids like Lizzie and Jimmy. can swim fast in the ocean and Lizzie can Swim REALLY fast is because she is royalty. Royalty have blood that makes them faster than other Merlin's. and practices ALOT). "NOT TOO FAST-" Jimmy kept getting cut off by the noises of the currents as I kept holding onto his wrist, still at full speed. I felt the coldness of the water flush down my back, it wasn't that I was going THAT fast.

KATHERINE POV

I was walking down to OverGrown's Harbor (I don't know if they have a harbor but I will put it in anyways) so I could meet Lizzie and Jimmy. I knelt down, closing eyes as I start to listen to the breeze around me. As about a minute passed, I heard Lizzie's voice in the distance.

"We're here Katherine!!!" Lizzie shouted. Both of them jumped out of the water. Lizzie landed on her feet while Jimmy just fell face first. "Is he okay?" I asked, worried. "Yeah, he's fine. Jimmy? You okay there bud?" Lizzie asked the little cod boi who was melting onto the floor. "Mrphh mrph (I'm alr)" Jimmy said, easing a thumbs up but then drops it down from how exhausted he is.

"Okay, now we just need to go pick up Joel and then we'll have the shopping krew ready!" Lizzie said, putting her fists in the air and rapping Jimmy's wrist. "And couple-" I whispered to myself. "What was that-?" Lizzie asked. "NOTHING LETS GO!" I shouted as a put carried Jimmy and dragged Lizzie to a ship my Father owns so we can sail to Mezalea and then spawn city (name of spawn/the city).

JOEL POV

I was placing moss around my empire and when I reached the harbour, I saw one of Katherine's fathers boats heading straight towards the docks. "AHHHHHHH" i screeched. I covered my face and waited for impacts. "Joel- you know that your on land and not that close away from the docks right now, right?" A familiar voice said. I looked over and put down my arms/hands. It was Katherine.

Katherine winked at me and moved to her left a bit. I looked up and blushed. It was Lizzie, waving "Hey Joel! How have ya been?" "H-hey Lizzie!". "So, are we gonna go now?" Jimmy groaned. "Yes. Now, c'mon, Joel! We're going school supply shopping!" Katherine told me, grabbing me and tossing me into the boat. Guess I am trapped with my friend and a random person (Jimmy and Joel don't know each other yet) now. AND MY CRUSH!!!!!!!

JIMMY POV

Lizzie's and Katherine's friend hopped onto the boat. I'm unsure about him, he keeps looking at Lizzie funny. Like he has a crush on her? As a sibling of Lizzie, i shall see what he is like and what he would do if he were Lizzie's bf!!!!!

🕰️ Some minutes later 🕰️

We arrived at Spawn City Port. We all got off the boat while Katherine ties the boat to one of the docks so the boat doesn't drift away. We walked for some minutes and found a school supply shop: Smoggle.

(changed the shop: 'Smiggle' 's name to: 'Smoggle' so no copyright)

We entered the shop and there was SO MUCH STUFF! Lizzie loves spending her money so she got all the possible needs she could get. Katherine on the other hand just got a bag, writing/drawing equipment, and a pencil case. The boy, Joel, got the same type of stuff as Katherine but sneaked a calculator with his stuff. I could tell he and Lizzie get along.

Now onto the story:

After done paying and Joel not getting caught for not paying for a calculator, we all went and got some lunch. We went to this restaurant called: 'BackYard Bowls' (just searched up: restaurant name: what's a cute name to name my restaurant?).
We went inside and ordered food. "What did you guys get?" Katherine asked us.

"I got a simple cupcake and some salad." Lizzie told her. "Cool! I mean-! That sounds delicious! I- I got a Egg sandwich and a huge, sugary(?) biscuit." Joel stated/complimented. "I got Sushi with a bit of cod inside!" I smiled as I grinned. Katherine and Joel just stared at me in shock and Lizzie just looked at me like: 'bruh?'. I looked at the three and my smile turned into a confused face.

"What? Is there something on my face?" I asked them. "Dude... YOUR EATING COD?!?!?!?" Joel shouted/asked. "WHEN YOU ARE A COD, YOURSELF?!?!?!?" Katherine continued. "He does this most of the time and plus: Cods are Canibals. It's fine." Lizzie told them. The shock turned to glee when the waiter gave us our food. "Yay! Sushi!" I said before digging into my food. Everyone enjoyed their food and Lizzie asked if she could have Joel's biscuit.

"Joel~ Can I have your biscuit 🥺?" Lizzie pouted/asked. I could see Joel turning into a tomato at this point but he didn't. "Y-ya! H-here ya go Lizzie!" Joel said quickly giving Lizzie his biscuit. "Thanks Joel!!" Lizzie thanked as she then stuffed the biscuit in her mouth in SECONDS!!! After we payed for our food, we walked over to the boat, taking Joel home and now ending off at the Over-grove, Katherine's empire.

"Alright! The boat is now tied up and won't sail away. Now it's time to say goodbye. See you guys at school on Tuesday!" Katherine said, waving at the entrance of Over-grove harbour. "Bye Katherine!!! See ya soon girlie!!!" Lizzie shouted. I just waved goodbye and then me and Lizzie Jami into the water, swimming back home.

(They put their shopping in bubbles so they don't get wet)
