"ANAKIN ..."
Anakin watched from where he stood, arms cuffed above his head against the wall. His shoulders hurt from the way they were holding his body upright.
"No, no!" Foxx cried out again, her body bloody in certain spots. She had been sliced open already, where a drill had been pushed into her body against her bone, where they drilled and took her bone marrow. He would never get over her screams, and the pure look of horror on her face as she tried to thrash back and forth and get away from the drill.
He thought he was a monster, but watching someone press a drill into the girls leg. He seemed almost happy at her screams, and cries out for help. It was making his black blood boil — something they hadn't drained yet, which he was wondering why. But there were two others, beside him and Foxx that had been captured, that had been drained too. He figured he would be next.
"Anakin! Help, please, please!" Foxx screamed as the drill whirled a little faster, and tears streamed rapidly down the sides of her face. "Please."
Anakin took a deep breath. There wasn't anything he could do, he was held captive too, restrained against the wall so he couldn't move. All weapons had been removed from his body, leaving him with nothing he could use besides his own body. "Do you wanna hear a story?"
Foxx nodded as the drill was removed and the doctor stuck a large syringe into the wound, which earned another painful scream. "Please, Kin."
"I don't remember much, but before my parents had died, we visited this beautiful watering hole." Anakin started, one side of lips quirking upwards. "The plants were so green, greener than you could imagine, Foxx. It's where I learnt to swim, to hold a bow, where I first caught dinner for my family."
"I don't — I don't know how to swim." Foxx admitted with a small frown, her voice cracking softly with every few words. "Is it fun?"
"So much." Anakin winced, which was something he never did. The needle was removed from her leg and she let out another scream, but at least they would drain someone else and give Foxx a break. "I'll teach you, when we get out of here."
"We're getting out?" Foxx sounded hopeful, like the second she had been strapped to the table she had never thought she was going home.
"We are." Anakin confirmed as a guard of some sort unbuckled Foxx's restraints and helped her to the wall, where he tied her up again. He watched her shift her weight to one leg before she ended up putting most pressure on her wrist, that were bound above her head. It hurt for him, but he bet it hurt so much more for her.
"His turn." Cage stepped into the room, a wicked evil look on his face. He pointed to Anakin, and the guard almost seemed to hesitate. "Put him on the fucking table."
The guard was quick in unlocking Anakin's restraints, which was probably something he shouldn't have done. Because Anakin smashed his head into the guards and reached forward, sticking his thumbs into the eye sockets of the guard and pressing until he heard a pop.
When the guard gave up his fight, Anakin turned towards Cage. "My turn?" He looked sick, an evil sick when his hands were covered in blood and the look on his face.
Cage held out what looked to be a gun, but when he pressed the trigger, Anakin fell to the ground shaking. His body vibrated, from as what he would learn was a taser. "Your turn." Cage confirmed as a new guard followed into the room and helped a limp Anakin into the table and strapped him down.
Anakin shut his jaw as tightly as he could when he felt a scalpel slice into the skin over his thigh. But when the drill was pressed against his bone, that was a whole different thing. He's been trained in the art of torture; how to withstand and how to enforce it. But this, this was like nothing he had even had happen to him before.
"Anakin!" Foxx called out but it fell on deaf ears.
Anakin let out the most painful, blood curdling scream he was capable off. Fuck, it hurt. He wished he was dead. How could he do any more of this, how could Foxx have done this twice without begging for her death.
He was in so much pain, that Anakin hadn't even noticed the little girl they had dragged in. When the drill was finally removed and they had taken his bone marrow, which they all noticed was an extremely odd colour, Anakin finally could see what was happening around him.
The syringe, full of his bone marrow, was heading right towards the little girl, who two guards held still. He watched as they pushed down her shirt only slightly, so her collar bone was visible, and the needle was pushed into a shunt.
"No! No! Daddy! Help me, please! No I didn't want this!" Anakin could hear her scream, but he just let his head fall back against the table, there was nothing he could do.
"MARIE ..."
Marie smiled from where she stood. She shared a look with Everlee, who stood by her side. "They did it." She meant Raven and Wick, who had successfully managed to blow the turbines, which was what they needed to do in order for them to open the door.
Nathan Millers father held a remote control from where he stood, stepping closer to Marie, Everlee, Clarke, and Lexa, he pushed it forward to the commander. "One minute starting now."
"For those we've lost..." Clarke started her eyes shining with something Marie didn't know. She seemed giddy almost, and it was starting to freak the Kane girl out.
"And those we'll soon find." Lexa pressed the red button but nothing happened. "What's wrong? Why isn't it working?"
"They're jamming us. I have to get closer." Clarke muttered but gunfire started to rain down and Clarke was pulled back by Lincoln. She wiggled her way out of his grasp and turned towards Lexa, "We need to get to that ridge and take out the shooters."
Lexa nodded and the two ran off, leaving Marie standing with the others. She eyed Lincoln, who was lighting up an arrow. Her hands went above her head dramatically, "You're crazy."
"I'll get it done." Lincoln confirmed and then he muttered something as he pulled the string back. He was doing this for his people, but for the one he loved too.
The hydrazine in the door blew up when Lincolns arrow came in contact with it, giving them access to the inside of the mountain.
"Train your fire on the door!" Marie yelled out, and anyone with a gun that surrounded her pointed their weapons on the door. As that happened, grounders pulled with all their strength. The door opened slightly when Lexa and Clarke returned.
"Stand down." The commander commanded, all of her people stilling at her words.
"What happened?" Marie tilted her head when she looked at Clarke. Clarke held a look on her face, one that almost looked like she was saying she was sorry. And that's when she saw Bellamy behind her, a gag in his mouth and his writs tied in front of his body. "Bellamy?"
And then grounder after grounder stepped outside of the huge metal door. All wrapped in blankets and bodies broken and bloodied from everything they had endured.
Marie kept watching for the sky people. But they never came, the door closed shut when the last grounder stepped out of the door and was far enough away.
"Where are they?" Lincoln questioned, turning towards his commander and waiting for her response. "Heda?"
"We made a deal." Clarke announced as she turned around and undid Bellamy's gag, letting it hang around his neck and he looked at the blond with shock across his face.
"Where's Anakin?" Marie stepped forward and someone raised their sword towards her, stopping her in her tracks. "Lexa? Clarke?"
"He wasn't apart of the deal, neither was the rest of the taken members of Skaikru." Lexa announced and Marie felt her heart drop. What?
"So your people get to live, what about mine?" Everlee asked as she looked between Clarke and Lexa. "Your friends get to live, but mine don't?"
Clarke shared a look with Everlee. "I'm sorry Ev."
Everlee, with the most anger and malice she could muster up, stared Clarke down. "You'll pay for this, Clarke Griffin."
Clarke reached out and her grip tightened against Bellamy's hand. She wasn't scared, Everlee couldn't do anything. "The conditions was that we leave their land, and they'll let us live. It's time to go home."
Marie shook her head. "I'm staying."
Lexa swung her sword out and it touched the skin on Marie's neck. "Than you are no longer Trikru."
"Go float yourself." Marie snarled as she stepped away, Everlee moving by her side. "Blood must have blood, Lexa, and everyone in that mountain will die if it means the rest of my people can live."
