Cookie laid on the bed next to Lucious sleeping it hurt Cookie deeply that her father kicked her out but now she didn't have to sneak to see Lucious she could see him every day without restrictions.

They had also taken a very big step in their relationship when Cookie decided to lose her virginity to Lucious which wasn't a big deal for her because they were gonna get married sometime in the future anyway.

The next morning Lucious had woken up before Cookie leaving to take care of his business and get breakfast for Cookie.

Cookie woke up confused then she remembered she wasn't at home and she slept with Lucious the night before she went to her suitcase and picked out an outfit going to get changed by the time she finished Lucious returned with breakfast for them.

"Hey, baby how are you feeling?" Lucious asked.

"I'm okay." Cookie said.

"I'm sorry Cookie I didn't mean for this to happen," Lucious replied.

"It's not your fault he would have found out eventually anyway. "Cookie said.

"Come on I've brought food," Lucious replied.

Lucious sets the bag on the bed and starts taking things out of it.

Giving Cookie her food and grabbing him they ate in silence.

"I never thought he would kick me out." Cookie said.

"Hey, hey, hey, don't do that Cookie he was hurt people hurt people it's that simple he doesn't understand what we have and that's understandable because of my reputation around the neighborhood so that automatically makes me a bad guy," Lucious replied.

"Your right I just can't wrap my mind around this." Cookie said.

"Don't stress yourself out over this like I said last night I go us," Lucious replied.

Lucious wrapped his arms around Cookie holding her close to him which comforted Cookie a great deal.

"So what do you want to do today?" Cookie asked.

"We can do whatever we want now no curfews no punishments just out own free will," Lucious replied.

They throw away their food packages and proceeded to leave the room.

Getting into the car they drove while Lucious was out that morning he had been thinking the motel room was fine for now but he didn't want them living there forever so he decided at some point they would move into a better place.

"Where are we going?" Cookie asked.

"To the mall to get you more clothes one suitcase of clothes isn't enough for you," Lucious replied.

They arrive at the mall going into all the popular clothing stores.

Cookie took her time picking out the clothing she liked.

Once she picked out what she wanted Lucious paid and they headed out to the next store.

"Cookie I'll sit here while you pick out what you want," Lucious replied.

"Thanks, Lucious this is sweet." Cookie said.

"No problem baby I told you I would take care of you," Lucious replied.

"I know you did Lucious and you are showing it." Cookie said.

They head off to the food court to buy lunch getting pizza they sat at the table eating with the shopping bags on the floor.

After lunch they continued their shopping Lucious of course stopped by the jewelry section buying wedding rings he wasn't going to give to Cookie yet but he would give it to her further on in their relationship.

"Where do you wanna go now?" Lucious asked.

"I think over there I need to get feminine hygiene stuff." Cookie said.

"Okay let's go," Lucious replied.

It didn't take long for Cookie to find the things she needed.

"Did you get everything?" Lucious replied.

"Yes, they had everything I needed." Cookie said.

"Good come on we've got more shopping to do," Lucious replied.

"Okay, Lucious lead the way." Cookie said.

They arrived at a shoe store Cookie came out with a few new pairs of shoes.

As they are walking to another store when two familiar voices Cookie hadn't heard since yesterday morning. Candace and Carol were walking toward them.

"Oh my god Loretha are you okay dad was really upset he told us that you were no longer apart of this family," Candace said.

Hearing what Candace said Cookie was trying to keep from crying. "What happened with Berry Dad was going on about how you can choose Lucifer over Berry," Carol added.

"You two remember the rap party Cookie was there with her friends I performed after my performance Cookie and I were sitting on the couch in the corner just talking Berry comes in accused Cookie of cheating on him he and Cookie go outside to talk. I get the feeling something was up and Bunkie and I go outside and find him holding Cookie too tight and shaking her so Bunkie and I handled him." Lucious said.

"Is it true Loretha?" Candace asked.

Cookie shows Candace and Carol her fading marks.

"Omg Loretha I'm so sorry." Candace cried.

"It's not your fault Candace. Yours either Carol. Lucious is taking care of me." Cookie said.

"I'm glad to listen keep in touch we won't tell dad we saw you," Candace replied.

"Thanks." Cookie said.

"Don't mention it, sis," Candace replied.

"We gotta go Loretha but we'll see you around," Carol said.

"Come on baby let's go," Lucious said as he walked away with Cookie.

Lucious could see Cookie was having mixed emotions happy to see her sisters yet sad by what they told her about her dad.

The shopping trip took a somber tone for Cookie.

But Lucious didn't like seeing her down so he thinks of a way to cheer her up.

They went to a few more stores before Lucious decided to leave and take Cookie out to dinner. They dropped everything off back at the room then they proceeded to go out to eat.

Off and on as Lucious kept looking at Cookie as he drove.

Cookie didn't say anything she just looked out the window as Lucious drove to where ever he was taking her.

Lucious found a place that served Italian food a place that served more than pizza but boasted delicious authentic Italian food at reasonable prices.

Lucious opens Cookies door for her and holds her hand as the wall inside.

They walk in sitting at a table in the corner Cookie didn't say a word and Lucious was beginning to worry.

"Cookie everything will be alright I know things seem bad now but this will work it's self out," Lucious said.

"I know it will Lucious it hurts at the moment but I will get past it. Just not right now." Cookie replied.

"Things like this take time and I completely understand you don't have to face this alone. When my dad died it hurt my mother and I deeply thought we dealt with it differently but it was hard and I had to work through it." Lucious said.

"Can we please stop talking about this I don't want to keep thinking about this?" Cookie replied.

"Sure why don't we talk about what your dream home would look like," Lucious said.

"Okay well, I like big houses with lots of lands. With room for kids a chef-style kitchen." Cookie replied.

"Okay, but where would you like this place to be New York or Las Angeles?" Lucious asked.

"I like both places." Cookie said.

"Okay, then we will get places in both cities with the things you want in them," Lucious replied.

"Really how are we gonna afford that." Cookie asked.

"Don't worry about that by the time that moment comes we will be able to afford it," Lucious replied.

"If you say so." Cookie said.

"Trust me baby if you let me I'll shower you with your heart's desires," Lucious replied.

"You're a smooth talker Mr.Lyon." Cookie said.

"And your beautiful Mrs. Lyon," Lucious replied.

They return to the room after dessert Cookie goes through her bags putting stuff away. When she was finished she went to the bathroom changed into her nightclothes got in bed next to Lucious he spooned behind her their fingers laced together.

The next morning Lucious and Cookie got up and dressed getting breakfast then Lucious beeper goes off he was going to drop Cookie off but instead, she just stayed in the car writing in her journal.

Cookie had her head down she wasn't watching lucky she didn't have to worry because Bunkie found them and was now watching the exchange from Lucious car.

"Hey Loretha how are you holding up?" Bunkie asked.

"I'm hanging in there I ran into Candace and Carol yesterday at the mall they told me about how things were at home after dad kicked me out. And I told them about Berry we agreed to keep in touch." Cookie said.

"I'm sorry about Uncle John he should know as well as anyone you can't help who you love," Bunkie replied.

Lucious returns and they drove away. "Where are we going now? " Cookie asked.

"To my studio spot, I gotta mix some more beats so I can make more tapes to circulate," Lucious replied.

The three of them arrived in front of the building parking in the driveway they get out of the car and head to the building.

"Wow, this is great." Cookie said.

"Yeah, it gets the job done until we get our Empire off the ground," Lucious replied.

Cookie and Bunkie sat on the couch watching Lucious work.

Bunkie watched Cookies' eyes light up and her mesmerizing state as she bobbed her head listening to the music filling the room.

She turned her head back to her journal and continue to write.

"This beat is nice I know the rhymes he'll write to this will change the game," Bunkie said.

"Yeah, he's going to be something up there with Biz Markie Whodini and Grand Master Flash to name a few." Cookie replied.

"You are definitely what Lucious needs in his life he should have gotten with you sooner," Bunkie said.

"As Lucious said better late than never right." Cookie replied.

"That's right," Bunkie said laughing.

It was a few hours later that Lucious decided they should go get something to eat. They went and got Philly cheesesteak sandwiches fries and milkshakes.

Once they finished they went back to the studio collected the finished mixtapes Lucious put them in his trunk Bunkie left a couple of hours later leaving Lucious and Cookie alone in their room.

Lucious leaned in kissing Cookie with so much passion she was surprised.

"Cookie you are my world and nothing and no one is going to come between us. I love you and always will." Lucious said. As he continued to kiss Cookie.

Just like the first night Cookie stepped into the motel room they joined body and soul cementing their relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend and future husband and wife. Once again.

They fell asleep in each other's arms like they have done every night since Cookie moved with him.

The very next morning like usual Cookie took a shower and got dressed for the day.

Lucious was gone again so Cookie took out her journal and started writing a couple of hours later Cookie didn't hear Lucious come in the room.

"Baby hey, baby," Lucious called shaking Cookie gently.

"Huh oh hey, I didn't hear you come in." Cookie said.

"I can see that you were in your world," Lucious replied.

"Yes, sometimes I get lost in my head sorting things out that troubles me." Cookie said.

"That's normal I can't relate all that much on that front which you know before dad's death you could say we were a happy family dad was everything to mom that's how much she loved him even after finding out he cheated on her which resulted in Tariq being born she still loved dad with everything she had. And blamed Fatima and Tariq for the affair." Lucious replied.

"I'm sorry Lucious you went through a lot." Cookie said.

"No need to be sorry bad things happen sometimes," Lucious replied.

She looked at him and just nodded.

"Now come on I don't want you sitting in this room by yourself come ride with me," Lucious replied.

"Okay." Cookie said.

Lucious took Cookies hand leading her out the door.

"We are going skating," Lucious replied.

"I don't have skates Lucious." Cookie said.

"Don't worry about it," Lucious replied.

They arrive at the skating rink.

Getting the skates they get out on the floor and were having the time of their lives.

"This is so much fun." Cookie said.

"Yeah it's great and the fact that your smiling is the icing on the cake," Lucious replied.

"Your so sweet Lucious." Cookie said.

"Only to those who I love more than anything," Lucious replied.

Cookie looks into his eyes and smiles at the man who holds her heart.

They continue to skate around the rink and dance it was great fun for both of them.

Hours passed and they decided to get something to eat they got a couple of burgers and fries. After they ate they sat holding hands and talked and planning for the future.

They went home a few hours later going back to the room.

Just like the nights before Cookie and Lucious slept together they never engaged in protected sex and didn't need to when Cookie didn't have sex with anyone other than Lucious.

Lucious once again wrapped his arms around Cookie holding her close to him giving her a sense of comfort protection and love.

Cookie jumped up out of her sleep the sheet wrapped around her naked body.

Cookie gets up slowly with the sheet wrapped around her picking out a new outfit to wear for the day.

Getting out of the shower and getting dressed. She brushed her teeth brushed her hair. The bathroom door was closed and Cookie had her walkman on and didn't hear Lucious come in.

Cookie walks out of the bathroom door.

"Oh my God Lucious I didn't hear you come back." Cookie said.

"Oh, sorry baby I didn't mean to scare you," Lucious replied.

"It's okay Lucious just don't do it again." Cookie said.

"I won't I promise," Lucious replied as he wrapped his arm around her kissing her in apology.

"I forgive you Lucious." Cookie said.

"Good I don't want to ever be a cause of pain for you," Lucious replied.

"I know you don't and I love you for that." Cookie said.

Moments later they leave to go to another rap party.

That was being held at an underground location.

They walk into the building being greeted by their friends.

They work the crowd saying hello and talking for a bit.

The DJ signaled for Lucious to come up to the booth and seconds later the whole place was dancing and having a good time.

"Hey, Loretha so it's true your Lucious girl now," Jackie asked.

"Yeah, he and I are together how did you found out?" Cookie asked.

"People saw your dad kick you out and you know people gossip especially when you weren't seen at school," Jackie replied.

"What did you have to say about it?" Cookie asked.

"I told them it's none of their business what goes on in your life and that your life isn't for their entertainment," Jackie replied.

"Thank you Jackie you know Candace and Carol didn't tell me about this when I saw them a couple of days ago." Cookie said.

"It's no problem at all I don't like gossip or backbiters," Jackie replied.

They turned to watch Lucious perform and just like the first time he performed Cookie got that feeling in her gut. That only happens when Lucious performed. When he was done he sold the cassettes of him rapping and his friend the DJ even bought one to play at his next gig.

After the party was over Lucious took Cookie out.

"You were great in there." Cookie said.

"Yeah the crowd was great too and I sold the tapes as well," Lucious replied.

"Oh Lucious that's great I'm so proud of you baby." Cookie said.

"It's good to know I can make you proud," Lucious replied.

"Well, you do you are letting nothing stop you from making your dream come true." Cookie said.

"It stopped being my dream when you agreed to be my girl. It became our dream and I'll be damned if I let anything stop that." Lucious replied.

"And I'll be beside you if anyone ever does. "Cookie said.

"We are a team Cookie as long as we have each other we will be good," Lucious replied.

"Your right that's all we need." Cookie said.

"I love you Cookie and always will," Lucious replied.

"I love you too." Cookie said.

After hours of being out, they returned to their motel room. And settled into bed after a long day.

In the morning Cookie woke up to hear Lucious in the shower.

He walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist.

Lucious didn't notice Cookie looking at him at first.

"Good morning baby, what time is it?" Cookie asked.

"It's still early 7:15 am," Lucious replied.

"Oh okay." Cookie said. As she grabbed her journal and continued to write.

Lucious continued to get dressed and goes to sit on the bed he kissed Cookie on the cheek. While she continued writing.

"I gotta make a couple of drops I'll be back," Lucious replied.

"Okay, I'll be here when you get back." Cookie said.

Lucious leaves meeting up with Bunkie and the others in their crew.

"Hey Lucious," Bunkie greeted.

"Sup Bunkie," Lucious replied.

"How is Loretha doing?" Bunkie asked.

"She's doing alright I left her back at our place writing in her journal I gotta pick us up something to eat after this though," Lucious replied.

"I'll tell you I was worried about her I thought she was going to close herself off again," Bunkie said.

"What do you mean?" Lucious asked.

"When Auntie died Uncle John threw himself into his work Candace decided she had to be strong for Loretha and Carol and Loretha closed herself off not talking barely eating anything at all it got to the point Candace helped get dressed and eat and I would take her out of the house," Bunkie replied.

"Damn," Lucious said.
