Reverse Falls
Forest
"Damn, Pacifica! Why are you so fixated in spying them?" Gideon Pines complained softly so the Adalwen twins would not hear them. "They are just... meditating, I think. We are wasting our time."
"You want me to believe they are just meditating in the middle of the forest with two huge rocks in front of them," Pacifica Southeast tried to reason with him. They were sitting on a strong branch of a nearby tree so they see them but they couldn't see them.
"Sounds weird, okay. But they aren't even talking." Gideon whispered. "It's been almost a week since we saw them at the Tent of Telepathy and I don't get why you still insist on this."
Pacifica opened her mouth to reply but the sound came from below them. "Dipper, look!" Mavis Adalwen exclaimed happily. Gideon and Pacifica looked frantically at what she was referring but saw only the rock. Forcing their sight, they noticed the rock was outlined by a cuddly pink and it was floating inches from the ground. Not the kind of evil magic Pacifica was expecting but it was something.
Dipper opened his eyes. "Good job, Mavis!" Dipper congratulated her. "Look at this," he said closing his eyes yet again. A frown appeared on his face and a little mist outlined his rock. Instead of levitating it, the rock started to disintegrate into sand, from the tip of the rock to the middle of it.
"That is so cool!" Mavis beamed.
"I can't finish disintegrating the rock," Dipper pouted.
"You just need practice bro-bro."
I wonder if the Gleeful used it on living beings, Pacifica wondered and shivered at the thought.
Gideon wondered if their cousins, the Gleefuls, were teaching them magic. And if so, where were they? But Gideon's question dissipated the next second when before his eyes appeared Will Cipher out of nowhere.
"What is that demon doing here?" Gideon hissed. Will and Gideon had a bad history. When he was 12, Will tricked Gideon into giving him a little of his blood. And for that, Will would make that his parents gave him more attention. In that time, Gideon's brother, Gordon, had just been born, quickly stealing all the attention to himself. Namely, because he was a baby.
Gideon never wanted anything to happen to Gordon, but he didn't like being forgotten. He made the deal and the next day, true to his word, his parents paid him attention. Because they no other son to take care off.
You see, for Will, Gideon's brother counted his blood. Taking away more than half of Gordon's blood in the night killed him. The nurses said that sometimes babies died in their sleep, but Gideon believed none of it.
He didn't see him again, not for a year when he discovered that Will was the demon servant of the Gleefuls. Gideon confronted Mason Gleeful about the murderer of his brother who stated that that day he gave Will the day free to do something to amuse himself. Gideon was disgusted and horrified that someone could find the homicide of a baby funny.
"Will! Mavis waved at him ecstatically. "I managed to float the rock and Dipper disintegrated it!"
"I know, Miss Mavis. I could feel it," Will stated. "I'm glad you have the same ability to do magic as Mabel and Mason Gleeful. Either that or I am a good teacher."
Will was teaching them? Gideon hadn't believed Pacifica when she insinuated that the Adalwens must be somewhat evil. Now, knowing that a demon like Will was teaching them, he wasn't so sure of their innocence.
Dipper chuckled. "I think maybe both are true."
"How are Mabel and Mason?" Mavis asked him.
"Finished training recently," Will replied. "You should continue tomorrow, you've done enough for today." Saying this, both of the rocks--or what was left of them--turned into flowers and the three of them disappeared.

Mystery Mansion's small living room
"Gather round people," Mason called out as soon as he entered the small living room on the first floor. "I have news."
Dipper paused his game. "We are the only ones here," he said pointing at his sister.
"I know," Mason admitted sitting on the velvet sofa next to Dipper. "It was for dramatic purposes."
"What did you want to tell us?" Mavis asked changing the subject quickly.
"My friends will be coming any minute now, I want you to present yourselves to them since you'll be staying here for who knows how long," Mason said. "If you wish, you can part to your rooms after that."
"I thought you told us nobody entered the house," Dipper inquired.
"This room, which connects to the entrance, is the only room that people can enter. Those doors--" he pointed at the doors where he originally entered, "--are sealed by magic. Only our parents, grunkles, the servants, Will, Mabel and myself can open them. And, now you. Since the house itself has some artefacts that may be cursed, plus that we like our privacy, we keep it that way."
"Where is your sister?" Mavis asked.
"She stays to the other side of the door while they are here," Mason answered. If he wanted to say something else, he didn't have the opportunity. The ringing of the doorbell made it clear that their guest arrived. Standing, Mason grabbed the control of the TV, pressed a couple of buttons and on the screen appeared five teenagers with sleeping bags. Pressing another button Mason said, "Let them enter."
The main gates opened and the group entered. Mason groaned under his breath, "I'm gonna castrate Thompson for bringing him along."
In a matter of seconds, a knock on the door brought Mason back to reality. Turning off the TV, he made his way to the main door and opened it, leaving the five people to pass.
"Guys, I present you, my cousins who will be visiting for the time being," Mason started with the introductions. Always very formal. "The boy is Dipper Adalwen while the girl, his sister, is Mavis Adalwen. These are Nate, Lee, Tambry, my best friend Thompson and his bitch named Robbie who I didn't know was coming to my house." Well, maybe not so formal after all.
These were far from different from the ones they were used to. Nate had grown a small beard and his hair reached his shoulders. Without his usual cap, Mavis and Dipper could see his messy brown hair easily. His attire consisted of a purple t-shirt, a black leather jacket, black baggy pants and white vans. He was using glasses.
Lee, on the other hand, wore a dark grey turtleneck sweater, skinny jeans and brown shoes. His hair cut in a military cut revealed a black line tattoo right next to his ear. Tambry's purple hair reached her cheekbones. She used a pink crop top, white shorts, black belt and black boots. Thompson was dressed in a green Hawaiian shirt with black palms, dark green shorts and black converse. His hair was styled to the back and wore three earrings on his right ear.
Robbie was quite a surprise for the twins. Wearing a plaid yellow shirt, white vest, black dress pants, brown shoes and glasses. Without an ounce of makeup, his face seemed paler than before. He seemed terrified of being in the presence of Mason, something Dipper found quite ironic. They all seemed to be the same age as Dipper except for Thompson that seemed two years older.
"Come on Mase!" The weird Thompson avowed. "You won't notice he is here, plus he is an extra player for Hunt Ice."
Tambry snorted. "He will die in the first five minutes, Thompson. He is so pathetic, I don't know why you like him."
"He is cute. Has a nice mouth, though," he smirked and Robbie blushed.
Mason seemed to be considering letting Robbie stay since he looked at him with a murderous glare. Slowly he smiled darkly, "He'll stay, I get to kill him and I don't want to see you kiss. Don't care if you do it, just make sure I don't see it."
Robbie didn't look at pleased as Dipper would have thought, but he nodded quickly and murmured a thank you. Lee nudged Mason slightly on the shoulder to catch his attention. Mason replied with an annoyed, "What now?"
"Do they know about your... eh, powers?" Lee questioned with a hushed voice. Mason nodded firmly.
"Yo, Mavis, Dipper," Nate addressed them after hearing Lee and Mason's exchange of words. The ones mentioned turned to him. "You gonna play Hunt Ice?"
"What's that?" Mavis wondered. "Is it a video game?"
"Kind of, yeah. But with Mason's magic and you are on the game," Nate responded.
Mavis looked at Dipper with pleading eyes, she wanted him to play with her. Dipper sighed and accepted the offer for both of them. Mason's birthmark started to glow blue as he chanted some words that nobody could comprehend but Mason's friends were rather used to them. The place shifted as the words were spoken until they were no longer on the living room, but on a snowy landscape with ginormous mountains.
"Where am I?" Dipper asked out loud. The people that previously had surrounded him where nowhere to be seen. He was alone.
Or maybe not so much since he could hear clang! in the distance. He decided to follow the sound hurriedly. Dipper didn't know who or what was making them but thought that exploring it was better than nothing.
Dipper tried to reason. How do you win this game? he asked himself. If the game is called Hunt Ice, then he should hunt something in order to win. The question is what. I can't see a single animal.
The sound he was following intensified. He was definitely on the right track. Soon enough, Dipper started to hear screams and panting. He recognized the voice screaming for help, it was Mabel's!
Quickening his pace, Dipper finally found her and the origin of the clang! sound. Tambry and his sister were fighting with swords. Mavis was utterly terrified and screamed that she didn't know how to use it and begged her to stop. While Tambry was trying to slash her at every turn. Spontaneously, Tambry summoned a ball made of fire and threw it at her head, burning Mavis to the ground.
Dipper was fueled with rage and sadness seeing the body of his sister turning to ashes. "WHAT IS HAPPENING? WHAT DID YOU JUST DO!?" He ran towards the body, kneeled beside it and cried. "YOU CAN'T BE DEAD! PLEASE MAB--"
"Hey dude," Tambry hesitated touching his shoulder, "she is okay, you know that, right? It's just a game."
Dipper was utterly confused. "What do you mean?"
"The game consists of battling each other to death until there is only one survivor. If you lose, yo go back to the living room safe and sound," Tambry explained. "Nobody told you? Our bad."
Dipper shook his head. "How did you launch a fireball?"
"Imagination," Tambry smirked. "You can get whatever power you can imagine but to master them you have to use them." She removed her hand from his shoulder as he stood up. "Since you already know, then there is no excuse for us not to battle!" she said swinging her sword to cut Dipper'd neck.
But that never happened. Dipper shocked her by grabbing the sword midair with his bare hand, breaking it in two. She may have been here longer but Dipper had read more superhero comics and knew more power than she could come up with. Plus, Tambry had killed his sister even when she had begged her not too.
Dipper took advantage of her shock to get away from her with a jump. "You just destroyed my sword and you think you can get away?" Tambry barked.
Dipper's hand touched the icy ground as the earth started to open between them. It reminded Dipper when he summoned zombies back in Gravity Falls, and, just as before, zombies emerged from the ground. The difference, these were squirrel zombies. "Never thought of it," Dipper replied as the army of squirrels ran towards the purple haired girl leaving her nowhere to escape as they killed her.
Dipper managed to kill Nate before Thompson stabbed him with an axe from behind and his surroundings shifted. He was in the living room again, engulfed in a hug with his sister.
"Dipper!" she exclaimed at him. "You super creative! And, you almost made it to the final! Thompson and Mason are fighting now, look." She pointed at the ceiling and Dipper raised his head. They were below the world of mountains and snow and below Mason fighting Thompson.
"He always wins," Lee pointed out. "Mason, I mean. And you were super cool, dude. I managed to see a bit of your fight with Tambry since I was near you."
"Yeah, those dead squirrels? Man, I could have never anticipated it," Tambry grinned and Thompson materialized next to her.
"Winner," a voice thundered above them and Mason materialized in the room as Thompson had done seconds ago. "I won, again," Mason bragged.
