The girl cowers behind Connor. Too afraid to do anything. The sound of the bullet shooting fills the air, followed by a thud.

"C-Connor? What happened?" The girl says her eyes still tightly shut.

"It's over. No more worrying about him anymore." Connor say turning around and hugging the girl.

"Is he d-dead?" She asks. She feels Connor nod, his head in the crook of her neck.

"Are you ok?" Connor worries scanning the girl.

"Yeah... just a bit shaken." She says opening her eyes only to be met with Connor's.

"Let's get you out of the cold." Connor picks the girl off and starts walking towards the hotel. The girl clings close to him.

"Thank you Connor." She sighs.

"Your welcome." Connor says kissing her forehead.
