The girl glances around before running towards the screaming, Connor right behind her. They stop at an open door that covered in a mix of thirium and blood.

Connor goes in and sees the deviant crouching over a screaming man, only three stabs.

"Hello. I am Connor." He says calmly.

"I thought it was DEAD!" The deviant launches itself at Connor, who swiftly pushes the girl into the bathroom and dodges the attack.

"Why are you killing these innocent humans!" Connor asks.

"Innocent? They are NOT innocent! This man has came here every week to have a f*cking affair! Most of these humans have!" They scream. Connor nods slightly.

"Maybe they aren't innocent but what gives you the right to chooses who lives and who dies?" Connor asks gently.

"Ra9 CHOOSE ME! IM HIS HAND IN HIS WORK!" The deviant breaks into laughter.

"Who is Ra9?" Connor asks confused.

"The one who will save us... but not you!" The deviant launches at Connor again. The girls eyes go wide as she watches through the cracked open door.
