"It's not your fault I promise." The girl says rubbing her arm. She avoids eye contact as her eyes are a deep blue.

"Please tell me (y/n). I'll do anything to help." Connor says gently going to grab the girl's hand but she jerks it away quickly

"Unless you can turn back time then I'd say there is nothing you can do." The girl says defeated. Her body slouched as if all her confidence has been drain, in a way it has. No smile showing, not even in her eyes.

"Let me try to make things right now." Connor says gently cupping her face and having her look at him. He smiles at her.

"Fine." She says climbing back into the tree. Connor looks puzzled. "I'll tell you up here." She tells him. The two climb as high up as the tree allows them and the girl leans against the trunk a branch above Connor.

"What happened (y/n)?" Connor asks after a minute of silence.

"La-last night.... I was- was r-raped..." she stutters out. It takes Connor a moment to process it.

"What do you mean?" Connor asks.

"It means that a guy forced me into having sex! The bastard raped me Connor!" The girl hisses. Angry that he couldn't understand.

"Who?" Connor asked, knowing it might be insensitive.

"It was jack... he broke out of prison some how. Climbed into my hotel room and tied me up. Five hours I had to endure it Connor! FIVE HOURS!" She yells frustrated.

"I'm sorry (y/n). I wish I was there to protect you." Connor sincerely states.

"He would have waited... I know him well enough to know that..." she mutters.

"I won't leave your side until you say so (y/n). I promise." Connor says holding his hand out. The girl goes to grab it but can't.

"Thank you Connor. But right now I think that physical contact is a no." She says flatly.

"I understand." He says, but he wants to pick her up and spin her around and kiss her for eternity. But he respects her too.

"What's today Connor?" The girl asks suddenly.

"It is December 1st."

" 20 days." She says.

"What's in 20 days."

"When my business starts coming to an end."

"What business?" Connor blurts.

"You should come to the party." She smiles.

"What?" Connor is now extremely confused.

"Maybe even hank could come. He's grown on me." She laughs. Connor realizes she's entered her own world.

"But Connor you've grown on me very much more." She smiles at him.

"If my programming let me I'd say very similar things back at you." Connor says climbing down.

"Right..." She says following him. The two walk back to the hotel extremely close to each other, almost holding hands.

Connor gets the girl into her room and throws anything that reminds her of the incident into a corner.

The two sit on the bed watching random movies when the girl yawns. Connor smiles slightly at her.

"Go to sleep. I'll watch over you. He says tucking her in. He turns off the lights and tv and gets into the bed too. His arms subconsciously wrap themselves around her.
