I walked out of the locker room wearing my gym uniform. A light grey t-shirt with the school logo and some dark purple shorts. To me my outfit looks like light grey and black shorts, which isn't bad at all.

I walk into the gym where my class meets and walk up to the teacher. I ask her if she will need my help during class today because she always needs my help. She says that today I get to be a normal student and that she didn't need my help. So, I walk towards the other students and wait for Ms. Moonlight to tell us what we are going to do.

"Ok students, today I will put you in groups of four going by your class rank number. Then you will fight the students in your group. This will test your abilities."

This seems simple.

"The first group is made up of the top four students. In first, Y/n. Second is Aaron. Third is a tie between Garroth Ro'meave and Laurance Zvahl. And fourth place goes to our new student, Dante Shadowguard. So this team will have five people. Now you five, come over here to choose your sword."

We all went over to a sword closet and picked out what we like. I chose an obsidian sword. Aaron chose a long obsidian broadsword. Garroth chose a diamond one and Laurance chose a broad emerald one. Dante got two ruby katanas because they were thin so the teacher let him use two.

We all walked over to the fighting area and stood in position. The boys formed a square around me. Then the teacher blew her whistle and the fight began.

Laurance was the first to move. He ran at me and I quickly moved to the side. He kept running and crashed into Garroth. Aaron took this opportunity to rush at me. When he was close, he swung his sword but I blocked it with my own. We fought for a little bit. I pushed his sword. He pushed mine. Until he pushed really hard but I slanted my sword. Because of the force he used, he fell to the floor face first. I just looked at him and noticed he wasn't going to get up anymore. As I was looking at Aaron, I felt a presence behind me.

So, I did the logical thing and....kicked it in the face.

It turned out to be Laurance. He fell to the ground. Dropping his sword. He rolled on the floor caressing his left cheek. I looked around and noticed something. Three of my opponents were on the floor. Garroth was on the floor rolled up in a ball. Aaron was lying on the floor face down. And Laurance was rolling on the floor holding his soon-to-be-swollen cheek.

I thought the fight was over when I suddenly remembered something. I had four opponents. Shadowguard isn't rolling on the floor like the other three losers. Where is he though?

As I thought of this, a figure jumped over my head and landed in front of me. I quickly realized it was Shadowguard. I was quick and I kicked his legs. He fell to the side but quickly rose to his feet again. He swung a katana at my head but I ducked. Then I got up again and kicked him in the stomach. He doubled over but recovered quickly.

Dante then threw a katana at me but I grabbed it with my free hand and threw it aside. I ran at him and when I got close enough, I jumped and kicked his chest. He fell backwards.

Unfortunately, as he fell, he grabbed onto my free hand. We both fell down. Shadowguard fell flat on his back. I, on the other hand, ended up sitting on his stomach with my legs in either side of him and my hands on his chest. Dante groaned in pain. He had his eyes closed and he rubbed the side of his head.

Dante Pov (Ha you didn't expect it)

Y/n kicked my chest. And let me just say that it nearly killed me. I didn't want to fall over so I started to grab at anything I could. Unfortunately, I grabbed y/n's hand and I pulled her down with me. As I touched the floor I hit my head really hard so I blacked out for a second.

When I opened my eyes, I felt my cheeks burn and I'm pretty sure I became a tomato.

Why, you may ask. Well, it's simple. A freaking girl was sitting on my stomach with her hands on my chest. She also had the cutest dazed expression. How could I not blush at a time like this!?! Okay, so I knew I was a babe magnet and that I was irresistible. But, this time I hadn't done anything and the girl came to me. That's so cool.

Then I remembered the match. I guess she won.

Your Pov

After Dante opened his eyes, his face immediately got a darker shade. Then he spoke.

"I-i-i guess y-you w-won."

Wow. Why did he stutter? Hmm that's weird. I just nodded and got off of him. Then the teacher congratulated us on the fight. We got new ranks. I am still number one. Shadowguard is now number two and Aaron is third. Garroth and Laurance are now tied in fourth.

After learning our new ranks, we all headed to the locker rooms to change. Once I came out of the locker room, the bell rang and I headed to my next class.

I walked toward my math class and took a seat. When class began, I was partnered with a girl so we could solve some problems together. Although I did most of it because she didn't really know how to do it.

Her name was really weird. It was something along the lines of, I think, Koala-Chin. Yeah. I think that's right. She had really pale skin and big eyes. She also had shoulder length hair and really long eyelashes. Last but not least, she had cat ears, a tail, and she talked in third person. But, she was really nice and she smelled like cupcakes

After math, I went to science. There I met my new lab partners. Two girls by the names of Katelyn and Lucinda. The Lucinda girl is a witch. She had long hair and she talked in a very sassy way. The other girl, Katelyn, seemed mad about everything. She was sort of rude and chill at the same time.

During history, everything went fine. Nobody got moved and I wasn't paired up with anyone. That was a relief. This whole day, I have gotten partners so I was kind of tired of it.

My last period is music. I really hope we don't have to sing duets. Oh well. I'll just have to wait.
