"Awsten... what's wrong?" I asked, walking into his room and sitting next to the mopey mess.

"It's Valentine's Day."

"Yes, I am aware??"

"I would've spent today with Ciara," he mumbled into his supreme floral hoodie.

Aww. Poor blueberry boy.

"Oh," I sighed, laying next to him.

"Hey Awsten."

"What," he muttered.

"You should be my valentine."

"Huh?" He turned to face me.

"You heard me correctly. Now, can you let me be a nice friend and pretend to be your valentine for the day?"

"...Won't Frank get mad though?" The purple–haired boy cocked an eyebrow.

"What is there specifically to get mad at?"

Awsten shrugged.

"Come on, let's hang out!"

"Bleh, okay," he shrugged, sitting up straight as I followed suit.

"So, whaddya wanna do?"

"I don't know, go to Starbucks or something?" Awsten replied, rubbing his left hand through his light purple hair.

"Dunkin's is bet— Well, get dressed. Let's go," I commanded, standing up and walking out of the room.
