Aaron Livesy BSM

A/N: I wrote this one a while ago, when Chas was still at the psychiatric ward for her PTSD. Also, I'm not exactly sure where Doug lives, but let's say he's staying at the Woolpack for now. Enjoy!

*His P.O.V*

I was sat in the living room one night, watching TV. Diane, Doug and my little sister, [Y/N] were all in bed, and obviously, my mum is at the psychiatric ward for her PTSD.

I was watching reruns of Friends, when I heard a small whimper. I spun round to see [Y/N]tiptoeing towards the kitchen.

"[Y/N]?" She jumped at my voice and turned to me, the light from the TV making it clear that she had tears in her eyes.

"Y-yeah?" She replied, her voice low as not to wake Diane or Doug.

"What's the matter?" I asked in concern.

"I...I had a nightmare." She admitted, her voice cracking. She sniffled and I could see she was on the verge of crying.

"Hey, c'mere." I beckoned her over and she hesitated, but then came and crawled into my arms. She curled up on my lap and I smiled slightly. She may be a teenager, but she's obviously not as grown up as she makes out to be. And I never want that to change.

"What happened, huh?" I asked softly, gently playing with her hair.

"My nightmare...it was horrible. It was about Mum; the PTSD got too much for her and she...she...she k-killed herself." She explained, choking back a sob.

"Shh," I cooed, kissing the top of her head. She choked on another sob, then another, then another, as she broke down. I just rocked her back and forth, shushing her and trying to calm her down.

"I'm just so scared. What if she really does try to commit suicide? It's like when you tried to commit suicide, I was so scared you would try and do it again, especially when you started self-harming. And I just don't want to go through the same thing with Mum." [Y/N] sobbed.

"Hey," I started, trying to hold in tears of my own, "That is not gonna happen, okay? She's at the psychiatric ward, which means she'll be well looked after and she'll get the help she needs, plus she's got me, you, uncle Zak, aunty Lisa, Debbie, Charity, Cain, Paddy, everyone! And I know when I was going through a hard time it wasn't easy on you either, but I'm alright now, aren't I?" I said, close to crying as well. I hate seeing her like this, especially as part of it's my fault.

"Aaron, please don't cry, then I'll cry even more." [Y/N] said, lifting her head from my chest and looking at me. She wiped the tears from my eyes and I chuckled.

"That's my job." I said, wiping her tears. She giggled and I smiled at the sound. "Just know that everything's gonna be okay, alright?"

"Alright." She said, laying her head on my chest again, "I'm just glad I've got you to help me through times like these." She mumbled, a yawn escaping her body.

"I'm glad I've got you too, babygirl. I love you so much." I murmured, kissing her forehead.

"I love you too, Aaron." She muttered as she fell asleep on my chest. I smiled down at her, before turning back to the TV.
