Today is a very special day, today is adoption day, all the children prepare to look good for when the adoptive parents arrive.

Emily: Wow, I've been here for a month-and-a-half and today is adoption day, who knew.

Jessie: Hey Emily, are you ready yet?

Emily: Yeah, I'm just going to find Cody. I'd like to see how he is.

Jessie: All right, see you.

[Later]

*Emily finds Cody*

Emily: Hey Cody.

Cody: Hmm? Oh, h-hi Emily.

Emily: Uhh... are you okay?

Cody: A little... it's just, I'm nervous, I'm saying this because I'm sure they won't adopt me.

Emily: Cody, if you don't get adopted, that's fine, it'll be next, I might as well not get adopted too. At least we'll be together.

Cody: Oh yeah, about that um...

Emily: What?

Cody: Well, you'll see-

Mary: Children! It's time.

Emily: We're coming! *grabs Cody's arm* Come on.

Cody: Okay.

Some children were gathered, however Miss Mary gathered six, those six being: Emily, Sarah, Jessie, Tyler, Zack and Cody.

Sarah: Excited Emily?

Emily: Yes, although a little, and a little nervous.

Cody: Guys, I'm really nervous.

Tyler: Don't worry, everything will be fine.

[With Miss Mary]

Miss Mary was waiting until a couple arrives.

(The couple are: a brown-haired woman and a black-haired man, their names are Sofia and Carl)

Sofia: Hello.

Mary: Hi, you must be the couple thinking of adopting a boy/girl, right?

Carl: Yes, exactly.

Mary: Well, I'll introduce you to about 6 very special children. Kids!

*The six arrive and introduce themselves*

Sarah: Hi, I'm Sarah Carter, I'm 7 years old and I like bunnies.

Jessie: I'm Jessie Anderson and I'm 8 years old.

Zack: I'm Zack Schmidt, I'm 9 years old, and I love to skate.

Tyler: I'm Tyler, 8 years old and I like to read.

Cody: I'm Cody Newman and...I'm 9 years old.

Emily: Hi, I'm Emily Fitzgerald, I'm 7 years old, I like pizza, flowers, and rabbits.

Sofia: (Oh wow, that girl looks so adorable, and smart.)

Mary: Well, now that they've applied, are you thinking about adopting one? Kids, would you mind?

Jessie: Okay, let's go.

*The six leave Miss Mary with the couple*

Mary: Well?

Carl: Well, we think we know who to adopt.

Sofia: That girl looked very unique, smart, and cute.

As if it was very, very special.

Mary: And which one is that girl?

[With Emily and the others]

Emily: How was I?

Sarah: Very good Emily.

Tyler: You were great.

Emily: Thanks guys. *sees Cody embarrassed* Cody, what's wrong?

Cody: *Sighs* I was bad, very bad.

Emily: Cody no, you weren't.

Tyler: It's normal to be nervous.

Jessie: Yes. Although... if neither of us will be adopted, at least we'll be together.

Zack: Yep, together *puts his hand on Cody's shoulder*.

Cody: Heh, you guys know how to make me happy.

*Everyone laughs (except Cody)*

Emily: Well, hey, since I'm new here (so to speak) can you imagine that I-?

Mary: Emily, could you come over?

Emily: I'm coming! *leaves with Miss Mary*

Sarah: I know what happens.

Tyler: Right?

Zack: Wow.

Cody: (Is it what I think is happening?)

[Later]

*Emily comes running*

Emily: Guys guys guys!

Jessie: What's wrong Emily?

Cody: Did... you get...?

Emily: They adopted me!

There was silence for a moment and suddenly everyone gets excited and Sarah and Jessie hug Emily.

Jessie/Sarah: Congratulations Emily! You did it!

Zack: Wow wow, for being new you were lucky.

Tyler: What a surprise.

Cody was happy, but on the other hand he was worried that Emily is about to leave, so it's time for him to confess.

Cody: (I think... it's time...)

Later, Emily and her friends were packing up Emily's things for her move, while doing so, Emily decides to do a few last things before she leaves.

Emily: Hey Sarah.

Sarah: Yes Emily?

Emily: Umm, I haven't asked you this before, but...how did you lose your parents?

Sarah: Oh... well, they abandoned me when I was 4 years old.

Emily: Oh...gosh.

I'm so sorry about that, Sarah.

Sarah: It's okay Emily, that's in the past. I hope you're doing well with your new family.

Emily: Thank you Sarah.

After Emily packed up her things, she went looking for Cody.

Emily: Cody? Cody! (Where could it be)

Cody: *Huff* (Okay, I'll confess to him before he leaves, but I have to do it now)

Emily: Cody, there you are!

Cody: Dah! Emily, what a scare you gave me.

Emily: Excuse me, I just came looking for you to say goodbye.

Cody: R-Really...?

Emily: Well, yeah.

Cody: Emily, before you go... there's something I need to tell you...

Emily: Really? W-what is it?

Cody: *Takes a breath and releases* You see, it's been a while since we met, at first I loved you as a best friend, you were the first friend I had in my entire life, and... with time... believe me or not, I started to feel that we were more than friends.

Emily: What... do you mean by that?

Emily was gradually understanding what Cody was referring to.

*Cody was quiet*

Emily: Cody?

After a while of silence, Cody finally confesses to her.

Cody: Emily, I...I like you, I mean...I love you.

Emily is very surprised, no one had ever said anything to her before, she hadn't even thought about having a boyfriend, and surprisingly... she got it.

Although... actually.

*Emily suddenly hugs Cody*

Cody: Huh?

Emily: I love you too, since the day I met you... I've been in love with you.

Yep, Emily had a crush on Cody the entire time.

As Cody hugs Emily back, unbeknownst to both, Zack, Jessie, Sarah, and Tyler have been watching them.

But... it's too bad they won't be together due to the adoption, so Emily will be gone.

[Later]

Emily was saying goodbye to her friends before leaving.

Emily: Well, this is the goodbye.

Sarah: Yeah...

Jessie: We will miss you so much.

Emily: Thank you guys so much.

*Emily says goodbye to Zack and Tyler and goes for Cody*

Cody: I hope... that we can meet again one day.

Emily: I hope so too, but I also...hope that one day you'll be adopted.

Cody: Hmm *smiles*, thanks Emily.

Emily: Oh, by the way, before I go, I have something to give you.

Cody: Really? And what is-?

Suddenly... Emily kisses Cody on the cheek.

Emily: I love you.

Cody: *Smiles* I love you too.

*The two hug*

Carl: Emily, it's time to go.

Emily: *breaks away* I'm coming!

Emily goes with her things and gets in the car, then says goodbye once more through the window.

Jessie: Good luck to you!

*The car moves forward and Emily continues to say goodbye*

Emily (thinking): This is the best thing that's ever happened to me, I had friends and I have a family after a long time. *she sighs and looks out the window* I miss my friends so much, and Ballora, I hope Freddy and the others are okay.

Emily finally had what she had, a family and friends.
