Karan:
he is carefree and does not like to take any load. is a big time flirt. best friend of simran . he was a theif and used to steal vehicles but after sometime he became a detective . he fights against injustice. calls arjun 'shera' and misses him a lot. loves to irritate arjun. he wishes to meet him as it has been 6 years. he has many girlfriends and during free time he calls them and will be busy flirting with them..

Simran (simmi):
she was in dramatics and wished to be a model. she helped arjun in fighting against crimes 6 years ago and now is a detective. best friend of karan. loves to flirt with arjun but never takes it seriously and expects arjun also to not take it seriously. misses working with him and wishes to meet him. her common dialogue 'mere karan-arjun ayenge'... has become less dramatic as time flew..

In an old garage

A man and a woman are sitting opposite to each other and focussing on some files.

"Yaar!! bahut bhook lagi hai karan" cries a woman who is unable to control her hunger.

"Simmi, agar bhook lagi hai toh kuch mangwa lo na" says Karan who is focussing on his work.

"Thik hai kuch mangwa leti hoon" saying so she left.

He again got back to his work but little did he know someone will come to meet him

A man enters and greets Karan "Kaise ho Karan?"

Karan who finds this voice familiar turns back and hugs him tightly and then exclaims "areeeyyy shera tu, itne saalon baad iss karan ko tune kaise yaad kiya. Kyunki maine socha tha tu mujhe bhool gaya hoga."

Arjun smiles at Karan's talk and says "Mein tumhe kaise bhool sakta hoon. Itni asani se mein kabhi kisiko nahi bhoolta,ye baat tum Samjhe Ya Samjhaun!"

"haan haan mere bhai samajh gaya. Ab ye bol kyun aaya, kyunki bina wajah toh tu yahan nahi atta. Itna toh mein tumhe jaanta hoon yaara." Karan asks him knowing well that his shera has something important.

Arjun hesitates at first but then continues "Teri kuch madad chahiye thi."

To which Karan replies "aree shera tere liye toh jaan bhi hazir hai. Bol kya madad?"

Arjun was about to tell him something but then simran came

Simmi doesn't notice Arjun and enters "karan sun na" Then she looks at Arjun and exclaims "omg arjun!! tum yahan.. kyun??... matlab kaise??..."

Arjun smiles a bit and asks "kyun? yahan nahi aa sakta.?"

To which Simmi replies sarcastically "areey aa sakte ho lekin kya hai na 6 saal baad koyi aise milne ayega toh aisa reaction humans mein normal hai."

Arjun ignored her as usual and sat on a chair.

Arjun continues "abhi tak yahi ho mujhe laga officially detective banne ke baad tum donon kahi aur shift ho rahe ho."

Karan replies "woh kya hai na shera iss garage mein bohot yaadein hai. Aur yahi se toh hum karan-arjun banne the toh chodne ka mann nahi kiya"

Arjun smiles a little. He matters a lot to them and even they matter to him

Arjun then asks "waise anjali kahan hai aur kya kar rahi hai??"

"Anjali ko scholarship mila aur woh pune ke ek boarding school chali gayi hai." Simmi replies.

"areeyy waah bahut acha hai. Tum log usse milne jaate ho?" Arjun asks.

"Haan hum har 4 mahine mein ek baar usse milne jaate hai . Woh tumhe bahut miss karti hai." Karan says.

Simmi also adds saying "Haan aur tumne phone bhi toh nahin kiya aur uss din bina bataye chale gaye."

Karan stops her from complaining by saying "areey heroine shaant hoja na, atleast ek letter toh choda vohi kafi hai."

Arjun looks at their bickering and says "tum donon se milkar bahut acha laga. Vaise abhi bhi tumhari pyaar ka call center chaalu hai kya?" asking Karan

To which Simmi replies irritated "areey arjun phucho mat, matlab itne calls hote hai na. Anjali ne toh ek baar phone hi tod diya tha."

Arjun smiles remembering the days where he had to listen to his so called call center and it used to irritate him very much.

"kabhi toh sudhra karo karan." Arjun starts lecturing Karan to which Karan says

"hey mere guruji aaj hii aaye ho aur aaj hii lecture. Kuch toh socho iss maasum bache ka. Ab batao mere shera yahan kyun aaye ho?..I mean kis kaam se aaye ho?" asks Karan.

'Haan woh ek case mein kaam kar raha hoon. Zyaada kuch bata nahin sakta lekin tum logon ki madad chahiye." says Arjun.

Karan says "Haan haan bol hum beshaq tumhari madad karenge."

Arjun smiles and asks them "Tum log Rahul Jain, Aashif Siddqui aur Peter Saldhana ko jaante ho?"

To which Simmi replies "Jaante hai Arjun. Hotelier, industrialist aur Deccan Mines ke malik hai na teenon. Pura Mumbai jaanta hai! Lekin tum kyun pooch rahe ho??"

Arjun continues 'Unn teenon pe nazar rakhni hai. Unnke har movement pe. Kahan jaate hai, Kya karte hai sab jaanna hai."

Karan asks "Bahar toh hum nazar rakh lenge. Lekin andar ka kya kare?"

To which Arjun replies "Uska intezaam ho chuka hai.. hum logon ko bas bahar nazar rakhna hai."

"Ho jaayega Shera. Tu chill kar." Says Karan

Simmi too says "Haan Arjun ho jaayega."

Arjun continues "Thik hai. Toh Simmi tum Rahul Jain pe nazar rakhna, Karan tum Aashif Siddqui pe nazar rakhna aur main Peter Saldhana pe mein nazar rakhta hoon. Jab hamein kuch clue mile hum act karenge. Mere bolne se pehle kuch mat karna."

Both Karan and Simmi in a serious tone ask him "Thik hai! Toh abhi se shuru karein?"

Arjun replies affirmatively "Haan.."

All the three are at their respective places and are waiting for events to take place.

*On the other side*

Rathode at Robin D'mello's office
He is cleaning the office very diligently and while cleaning he is also placing the bug in its proper place. Since Robin owns a tours and travels company the office is tended to be small. Hence he needed only 1 bug. He placed it and along with that cleaned the whole office. With that he scanned a few documents with Shree's scanner.

D'mello enters and looks at his office and says "well well I am very surprised my boy. Tumne toh mera office bohot clean kar diya hai. Tum jab kaam maang rahe thee mujhe nahin laga ke tum itni achi safai kar sakte ho. Aaj se tumhari naukri pakki.!"

Rathode who is already angry because of Sikandar murmurs to himself "Haan haan ek baar mujhe tumhare baare me saboot mil jaaye uske baad aisi safai karunga na main tumhari. Iss janam mein kya agle saath janam mein nahin bhool sakoge." He turns to Robin and says "Shukriya Sirji! Toh kal kitne baje aaun?"

Robin replies "Issi samay aa jana."

Rathode then says "Haan thik hai Sirji. Bohot shukriya aapka muje kaam par rakhne ke liye" playing the character with perfection.

Robin then exclaims "It's ok my boy!"

Rathode leaves. His work is done. He has inserted the bug as Shree told him and now no one can find that bug in this life. He now breathes a sigh of relief.

Next he goes to Rahul Jain's Hotel where he stays the most. He enters his cabin to clean it in place of another boy whom he just bribed. (smart move 😎) Now he is attaching the bug in his cabin and when he sees Rahul coming towards his cabin he works faster. Before he comes Rathode finishes his work and was all set to leave.

Rathode before leaving wishes him "Good morning Sir!"

Rahul too acknowledges "Good morning!" and without looking continues "Ek cup coffee bhijwa dena andar."

To which Rathode replies "Ji sir." and leaves

Rathode comes outside the cabin and first places the order for coffee and all along the hallway till the parking he attaches the bug at equal distance as Shree had asked him.

Rathode talks to himself and says "Ab tujhe na main jail ki chai pilata hun Rahul Jain. Pasand aa gaya toh naam badal dena."

Then his next place was Aashif Siddqui's office. He reached there as a worker and started working as the manager instructed. He took the place of another boy whom he sent for another work. So many workers work there that it's tough to keep an eye on everyone. The manager gets busy in talking to his wife and Aashif just went to the washroom. Rathode uses this as a perfect opportunity to sneak in the cabin and place the bug scan worker's documents which was placed on the table . He does the same and then quietly leaves.

Then the last destination Deccan Mines record office where Peter Saldhana works. He goes there as a replacement of peon of afternoon batch who suddenly fell sick. (He actually paid the peon to pretend that he is sick and allow him in his place). He then scans workers documents present in the room.
While working he finds a perfect opportunity to sneak in and place the bug. He does the same. And leaves when the duty ends. If he would leave before it would be a bit risky as there were only 3 peons in afternoon and if he had disappeared it would have landed the O.G peon in trouble. So he stayed back. (Sabka khayal rakhta hai yeh ladka🤭)

He finishes placing bugs in everyone's office especially cabin so that they can hear the talk and get clues. He even installed GPS in everyone's vehicles to keep a track on their movement. Though they felt it wouldn't benefit but to stay on the safer side he did.

Now Rathode returns back to his house and retires on the bed. It was a very long day and he had to be very careful. But he succeeded. He then messages Shree and Arjun that step 2 has succeeded. Arjun and Shree call Rathode via conference.

*On call*

Arjun asks Rathode "Haan Rathode kaisa raha sub kuch? Kisi ko shaq hua?"

Shree also adds and asks "Haan sir aapko koi problem to nahin hui?"

Rathode smiles and answers "Nahin aisa kuch nahi hua. Balki sab kuch thik thak gaya." assuring them and then continues "Waise bhi ETF chief tha main."

Arjun smiles at this and says "Haan woh toh hai"

Shree also smiles.

Rathode then asks Shree about his plan "Shree tum ne kal sab plan kiya hai na. Kuch gadbad toh nahin hogi? Safe hai na tumhara plan?" His voice reflects a lot of concern.

Shree smiles at his sir's concern. Obviously after losing the team in hands of Sikandar they were very careful.

Shree assures him and says "Haan sir sab plan ho chuka hai. Aur main aaj office mein bimaar bhi pad chuka tha. Taaki kal ke liye aaram se chuti mile."

Rathode smiles hearing his antics and says "Thik hai phir. All the Best.!"

Shree also replies confidently "Yes sir."

Arjun then asks Rathode about his day smirking "Waise Rathode aaj ka din kaisa gaya woh toh bata?"

Rathode tells them about his day. Both make fun of his situation and the plight of those after they know that the worker was ACP Sameer Rathode whom they were ordering. The fact that what would Sameer do to them left both of them in splits.

Arjun laughs and asks Sameer "Sam unki toh hawa tight hogi ek baar unhe sab sach pata chal jaaye."

Rathode who is irritated by their laughs says "Chal bas bas. Ho gaya tum donon ka? Ab mujhe sone do pura din majdooron ki tarah kaam kiya hai."

Shree realizes and says "Sorry sir. Aap so jaayiye. Good night."

Rathode replies "Haan thik hai. Tum bhi kal apna khayal rakho. Aur sambhal ke."

Arjun also adds "Haan shree. Hoshiyaari se karna sab kuch."

"Yes sir." replies Shree.

They all cut the call. Sameer goes to sleep. Shree is a bit nervous about the next day and Arjun keeps an eye on Peter. After some time he sleeps and tells Karan and Simran to also sleep for a while. If there is any movement they would come to know by bugs and GPS system. All the three sleep in their cars.

Next morning all get up and get started with their work. Karan Arjun and Simmi go to a nearby lodge and freshen up. They start with their work.

Shree also goes to the houses he was told to as a cable man. There he pretends repairing the connection which he himself had spoilt. Then with some excuse goes all around the house and places the bugs. The ladies also liked him.

Rahul's mother first thought he was a college going student and considered him as her son. Shree also liked it and pretended the same way. His work was also done and Aunty got some company.

Aashif's wife pounced on him as her opportunity and started seducing him. Though he felt very wierd he couldn't help but play along as his work was also to be done.

Peter was a single dad of a daughter and had hired a nanny for her care. She would be busy taking care of his daughter that he could easily place the bugs.

Though there were cctv cameras all around the house. It didn't take him much time to hack it and show everything normal.

On the other hand Rathode goes to the HQ and reports to the Commissioner Sir that there is no threat from where he has come (obviously there was none) and gets back to his work. He studies what happened yesterday and he is all set.

Now all the three had no option other than to wait till there is no sign of money transfer via face to face. So waiting was what they could do. But this wait was very hard on them. Everyday they would hope that no one among the team is harmed or killed.

Karu: Hey guys hope you liked this chapter. I agree it's a bit boring but Arjun without investigation is like a boring romantic story. Arjun was all about case solving and emotions. So this book will give you both. Now we can't afford to have very emotional moments as no one can fall weak but yeah once mission SIKANDAR is over there will be good emotional scenes.
