6 years later
In a dark room sat a man twirling his pen while focussing on a picture (guessed it right, it is Arjun staring at Sikandar's picture). He was sitting there with a burden about his past which hurt him beyond repair.

Arjun's P.O.V:

"Jis aadmi ne mere pyaar ko mere sabse karibi dost ko mujhse dur kiya usse toh mein zinda kisi bhi kimat pe nahin chodh sakta. Lekin ab jab mere ussi dost ne mujhe tera pata bataya hai apne department se or apne ussulon se gaddari karke mein tab bhi tujhe dhund nahin paa raha hoon."(Irritated and angry)

"Teri kismat achi hai jo ab tak tu mere haath nahin laga. Lekin meri kismat bhi utni buri nahin hai ki main tujhe tere anjaam tak na pahuncha sakun. Kahin toh hoga tu!!"

P.O.V ends

He sees his emergency mobile flashing and he picks it up without seeing.

The man on other side of the call asks him "Kaisa hai Rawate?"

To which Arjun replies "Kya lagta hai Rathode?"

To which Rathode huffs and says "Uska pata nahin lekin agar tu gusse main nahin hai toh mere paas ek information hai jo mein tumhe dena chahta hoon."

Rathode was his long lost friend because of Sikandar and now he is the same person who is helping him against the system and the department to get revenge.

Arjun is now getting a bit irritated "Thik hai mein gusse main nahin hoon ab bata information kya hai?"

Rathode realizes that but he cannot do anything as he knows his friend "Aise nahin milke batana hai kya pata information milne ke baad tu apne gusse ko control mein na rakh sake."

Arjun controlling his anger asks "Rathode tu bata raha hai ya nahin."

To which Rathode replies with a "Nahin!"

Arjun is now angered and says "Damm it Rathode! Tu bata nahin sakta kya?"

Rathode gives an explanation to this by saying "Nahin! Aur tu reason bhi ache se jaanta hai. Roshni ko toh kho diya hai maine lekin tumhe nahin kho sakta (smacking himself for sounding so senti) Toh milke hi bataunga. Yeh baat tum Samjhe Ya Samjhaun!"

Both have a small smile on their faces as they had copied each other's dialogues. And they knew it.

Arjun now realizes that he can't fight and even if he fights Rathode won't tell him anything. He says "Thik hai kal milte hai shaam 5 baje."

Rathode says "Nahin 5 nahin raat ke 11 baje jab logon pe khatra kam ho."

Arjun just feels like holding Rathode by his collar and giving him his SYS lesson but he can't because he knows that Rathode is always right about him and no one knows him better than his Sam urf Rathode.

Arjun replies with a slight tone of disappointment "Thik hai"

Rathode gets surprised by Arjun's sudden change in tone and thinks "itni jaldi maan gaya, no SYS. Bhagwan kare kal bhi uska mood aisa hi ho."

Then he replies with "Thik hai."

And they cut the call

Rathode's P.O.V: "Ab isko mein kal kya bataun kaise bataun aur batane ke baad handle kaise karun. Itna stress toh mujhe Commissioner sir ke saath meeting karne se pehle bhi nahin hua tha. Haan lekin woh zakhmi sher nahin thhe na. Lekin yeh."🤦🏻‍♂️

....Flashback....
Rathode comes back to E.T.F office from his meeting in Delhi after 2 days. He sees everyone working quietly and then sees Arjun in the conference room keeping an eye on everyone. He knows the matter is tense and tries to control his smile as he knows what his teammates are going through

Ayesha notices him and wishes him "Good Morning" with a broad smile

This makes everyone turn to the entrance and jump with excitement.

Shree exclaims "Sir aagye!"

Chotu replies to him with same excitement "Aree haan sir wapas aagaye!"

Sakshi also notices Sameer and with a cheerful bubbly smile says "Hi Sameer. tum waapas aagaye?"

Liza comes from the lab to give some report and even she exclaims "Good morning sir! Aap ko dekh ke acha laga. Aur yeh woh report dena tha." Saying this she hands over the report.

Rathode takes the report and thanks liza. Liza leaves to go back

Shree now turn to Chotu and says "Acha nahin yaar mujhe toh bahut bahut acha laga."

Chotu replies to him by saying "Haan yaar mujhe bhi. Ab humein uss zakhmi sher se utna darne ki zaroorat nahin hai."

Arjun comes out from the room and with a serious tone and no expression on face says "Sabka milna ho gaya. Ab kaam kare ya aur milna hai Rathode se?"

Rathode looks at everyone and tells them to get back to work. But this time all are happy as Rathode is there to handle Arjun's anger.
Arjun then leaves towards his cabin.

Rathode calls Shree, Chotu, Ayesha and Sakshi to give him a report on what happened.

In his cabin
Rathode talks to his team "Mujhe pata hai Rawate ne sab sambhala hoga mere piche lekin mujhe case details sab jaan ne hain."

Everyone tells him the details of the murder case.

Rathode then enquires with them "Aur kuch kehna hain?"

To which Shree replies "Haan sir agli baar jaane se pehle hume bata dena. Hum taiyar reh sakenge."

Rathode gives a confused look and questions "Taiyar kisliye?"

Shree goes to say something but by then chotu interrupts "Aree sir zakhmi sher ke chatrachaya mein rehne se pehle taiyaari banti hai."

All others just stare at him out of disbelief. He soon realises what he said and there is no way out from there. So he says "Sorry sir"

Rathode who is controlling his smile then replies "It's okay."

Chotu and Shree then ask him "Sir yeh baat aap Arjun sir se toh nahin kahenge na"

To which even Sakshi takes Chotu and Shree's side and says "Haan sameer arjun ko kuch mat kehena. Pehle se hi dono ke piche pada hai."

Rathode still controlling his smile

Ayesha also adds "Haan sir please Arjun sir ko kuch mat batana."

Rathode then says "Okay Ayesha!" All stare at Rathode now. He smacks himself mentally and tries to correct himself and says "I mean okay Ayesha, Sakshi, chotu and Shree mein Rawate ko kuch nahin bataunga."

All passing a know it all smile..☺️☺️

To not make situation more awkward Rathode orders "Okay ab sab apne kaam pe lag jaao."

All in one go "Yes sir!"

They leave and while leaving Sakshi comes near Sameer and says "Sameer tumhe hum sabke naam lene ki koi zaroorat nahin thi. Everyone bol sakte thhe." and winks All realise what she is saying and before Sameer says anything Ayesha comes in between

"Sakshi Arjun sir ne jo kaam diya tha woh khatam karein."

Sakshi playfully replies "Haan theek hai. Kar lungi."

Ayesha and Sameer pass a small smile while the former leaves the cabin.

....Flashback ends....

Sameer has a smile on his face while remembering everyone Sakshi and Arjun's nok-jhok, Chotu and Shree's friendship, Shree and Liza's love-hate relationship mostly hate and Ayeshaa.... But now this smile turned into a more serious look. He misses his team and Rawate a lot. Even though Shree is alive they are not in regular contact. Once in 2 months Rathode calls him to check on him. Maybe after the team's death they didn't feel like talking as it would only increase the pain. Though they were bound by work they were a FAMILY

Next day at 11 p.m

Arjun is waiting for Rathode at the place which Rathode selected. They had been very careful during these 6 years. Both having an emergency phone in which only each other's contact was saved in order to contact during problems. It was Rathode's idea and it was him who used to make arrangements of their meet to talk about mission Sikandar. After knowing the involvement of minister in ETF' s death they didn't trust anyone. They met only 3 times in these 6 years. Call was also never regular it was only when there was an urgent need of discussion.

Arjun is also irritated as Sameer has come late. He then questions "Yeh Rathode kahan reh gaya?!"

To which Rathode replies in one of Arjun's dialogue "Agar piche mudke dekhoge toh mein saamne dikhunga!"

Arjun who is also irritated questions him "Hogaya mera dialogue copy karke?"

To which Rathode smirks and replies "Ab pata chala kaisa lagta hai jab dimaag mein pehle se hi tension ho upar se koyi aise ghatiya attitude dikhaye."

Arjun then scowls at him "Tumne mujhe sunaane ke liye yahan bulaya hai?"

Rathode then in a low voice and a serious tone tells him "Nahin baat kuch aur hai."

Arjun raises his eyebrow and questions "Kya?"
