So I was just up and about doing my daily (nightly XD) writing and I was wondering why the GottaReadEmAllClub chat was so quiet at this time of day when it may be past midnight for me but it was daytime for them. So I opened up my Skype app on my hand-me-down iPhone 4 and BOOM!

Now not only do I get an outdated version of Wattpad for my phone, but now I can't use Skype anymore! What the hell? Am I really doomed and forced to buy the latest stuff just to keep up with social media? To have the latest trendy games, and get a better usage for your phone?

You see, the phone I use is a crappy iPhone 4 that has a software of iOS 7.2. It won't ever upgrade after that. But it says that to use Skype, I must have iOS 9.0 (JUST LIKE WATTPAD) The only difference I can still use Wattpad, just not have the latest features. BUT SKYPE IS FORCING ME TO UPDATE.

I guess it's like Nintendo and their consoles. From Gameboy to Switch, if you want to play the new games, you have to upgrade your console. But unlike some of the really lucky ones out there...

I'M NOT FUCKING RICH OK!? Some people don't have big ass money for them to spend on just because they need to! And the fear of a new update coming up and then you're going to have to spend money again. Then the cycle goes on. And that's what it is, a cycle.

I am a little sad now, because I'm almost going to college/university, and since we live in the technological age as some oldies like me might say, I have to be computer literate and up-to date with it all. I have to so that I can become globally competitive in the long run.

Sigh. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to go cry and think of how to convince my parents to give me money and support for new gadgets. Your prayers are always helpful.

My wishlist:

•an actual future to look forward to (I seriously need help "what am i doing with my life" feels are too strong)
•new laptop before this school year (next school year is fine, just pls dont make me wait)
•to get ripped!!! this skinny body will become the hot, sexy macho. (umm... I actually don't know what I'm saying)
•new ANDROID phone before going to college/university (you're lying if you don't believe everyone literate in the world needs a phone)
•my own Nintendo Switch (before they announce for a new console, please)

Moral of the story: Life is once again a female dog.
