FANFICTION TAG

Hi guys! It's another tag challenge again, this time I was tagged by NaivEevee to do the fanfiction tag!

Basically, you answer 20 questions then tag people. I feel like I'm not qualified to answer more than half of the questions yet though XD Without further ado, let's get straight to it with...

#1: Describe yourself as you would a character in a fanfic.

Dead.

#2: Do you have a ritual before/during/after you write?

I'm so embarassed, I had to search what ritual means. XD I did because I might answer this wrong. Apparently it's a religious or sacred rite that is done through a procedure. Well, I think I do a ritual. It's find a time to write, inspire yourself with KPop or anime, take out Notes/Microsoft Word, keep motivating yourself to write, then sing/dance according to your liking when done. Sometimes proofread after posting, because I always forget this rule. I'm weird, I know.

#3: Which fanfic is/was your favorite one to write?

None because I haven't wrote one here yet. XD

#4: Authors you admire?

Hmm... I actually have a hard time choosing at the moment because I haven't been reading books as much as I used to. Well, there's SGmijumaru , d_s_t_e , Vespin , PokeBroncoFan , arvin12pascual , Master_Of_Illusions , AttractiveSkitteh , Serena-Daniels , Red_Rockett , and others I forgot to follow at the moment. I'll do it later. And those are just the Pokemon fanfiction authors (which I say because this is a fanfiction tag after all). To be honest, I admire everyone who's here on Wattpad, especially you guys who take the time to read through my shit. The title of my random book ks literally "Emerald Writes Shit." So, thank you guys! I admire you. :)

#5: How many words do you think you could write in an hour if you really concentrated?

I personally think that if I really concentrated (which comes once in a blue moon), I can write about 750-1900 words. The condition is if what I'm writing is all in my head with no distractions whatsoever. Like, if I could visualize it and all I can think of is my story, the vision plays on its own that I just write what I see.

#6: What was your first fanfic pairing and plot?

I actually don't want to say, because it's spoilers, but back in 2013 I wrote about a Skitty and a Poochyena being seperated in Route 116. That's all I'll say. :3

#7: Inspiration, time, or motivation?

Earning inspiration you have, having the time, and motivating yourself to write are my daily struggles when writing. They're all equal to me.

#8: Why do you write?

Besides making me able to make it my dream career, I just really like books and to make one of my own would be a dream come true. I write to express myself, I write because I love doing so, I write for me.

#9: Are you planning on writing anything other than fanfiction?

*looks at my works* Hmm, no. I don't plan to write any teen fiction, fantasy, pop fiction, romance, action, and mature themed stories.

#10: What inspires you the most?

Well, as of now... the stories in games, the plots in anime I watch, and school itself has been great sources of material to write about. But what inspires me the most is the music I listen to. Music is life.

#11: Out of your fanfics, which is your favorite?

Well, I haven't written any yet, but through my soon-to-be stories, I have high hopes for this two-part Pokemon fanfiction series and this story about KPop. Hahaha, don't expect though because that will be a long time. I also like this StevenXWallace fanfiction I'm writing, I just enjoy writing it. XD

#12: Strangest thing you ever wrote or ever thought of writing?

Bed scenes. I'm bad at writing horror, I like writing about gore, death is not that weird to me. But kissing scenes... the reason why is because I enjoy writing them. Awkward... (insert lenny face)

#13: Which fanfic do you wish you had written better and why?

The story of a character (that I forgot what his name was) and his Zubat. It was going to be a fun series! I remember the names of his companions: Kenneth (his bestfriend) and Nora (the sister of Roxanne) but I don't remember his name. I think it was Emerald. Oops. XD

#14: What is the best fanfic you've ever read (not your own)?

The Secret of Absol (which is unpublished now) by RiverIvy was the best Pokemon fanfic I have ever read. Followed by dste's GOOF and TGWTC. (Advertizement: Pokemon:Rewritten is a rewriting of the anime and it looks great so far. Go read it. #NotSponsored) I've been trying Pokemon Chronicles Zero too by SGMijumaru (by the way, great person! You should check him out ^_^) and it's awesome reading it. I bet there are other fanfics though, I just haven't read them yet. Like, I promise I will at least try those top placers in the Pokemon Watty Awards but I don't. XD My favorite though is Don't Forget by MasterOfIllusions (another unpublished one) the sequel to... I forgot the title. XD

#15: What is your guilty writing pleasures?

Is writing sexy things a pleasure? Who knows. ;) I'm just kidding. Well, just the accomplishment of finishing a chapter is a pleasure enough for me, but one thing I know I'm guilty of when writing is pretending to be the character I am writing about. It's like being able to be someone you are not and get away with it.

#16: Do you plan out your story before writing it or do you just wing it?

Plan, plan, plan. I think it's a bad habit of mine, though, because I end up hating the plot I have or losing the will to write the whole thing. There were instances of me improvising though. But if you ask me, planning your story is one of the most important steps in writing. I learned it in one of my English classes, where the first part of writing is pre-writing.

#17: Are you a fast writer?

Well, in school I get praises for typing on the keyboard so quickly and finishing essays first before anyone else. Although the latter is maybe because I sometimes do brief answers that are straight to the point. I did mention though that if I concentrate, not only do I write lots of words in an hour but mainly because I'm a relatively fast writer.

#18: How old were you when you started writing stories (fanfics or not)?

I wasn't really a young prodigy in writing, I only started trying my hand in writing when I was an elementary student, or as the international students say as middle schooler. Somewhere around 9 or 10? It was a nightmare I had about skeletons then death and it was so vivid I could write about it and actually make the whole story. I first wrote a fanfiction when I was 12. (SHAME ON YOU. YOU SHOULD BE EMBARASSED BY THE PEOPLE WHO STARTED WHEN THEY WERE 3-8 years old! Seriously though, how even? O-O I'm impressed)

#19: Why did you start writing?

I started writing because I want to. As a child, I was the biggest bookworm my family ever knew and while reading Diary of A Wimpy Kid, a sudden thought came to me. I think I can write fairytales too! I'll try doing so! After the nightmare, I then started writing about adventures of heros and their journeys but nothing too deep. It had a lesson in the end, like the stories kids read when they're young. Like I said before, I write to express myself, I write because I love doing so, I write for me.

#20: List six sentences from your works that you're really proud of.

I'm not qualified to do this yet so I'll update once I have something worthy of sharing here! XD

Bonus question: Plot or characters?

Both, because in my opinion, a plot can't run without characters and characters can't be made without a plot.

Well! That's my fanfiction tag! Since I'm very kind (and lazy) I will not tag anyone. Hooray! Enjoy the rest of your day with no tags from challenges. Hopefully ;)

Ok, I'm out!~
