Mattheos POV

When Lillian asked us to help her murder her Mother, I knew something happened. We aren't close, we barely tolerate each other. We only get along because of Draco.

     I said I would help, still a little shocked that she even asked for backup. Peter, Five, and I all follow her outside, where Veronica is by the garden.

     While Lillian is talking/torturing her Mother, I stand on the sidelines, half paying attention to Lillian. My main focus is the party a short ways away. Already people were looking out here, trying to see what was going on.

     My attention snaps back over to Lillian when she asks Aelia the question that would decide Veronicas fate. I'm somewhat relieved when Aelia didn't say yes. Even though I had a feeling that no matter what she said, Lillian was going to deliver the killing blow.

     My focus goes back to the party when Lillian murders one of her abusers without her "wand". I quickly take note of that, and store it away. Despite what I should be feeling, I'm proud of her. It takes a lot of strength to stand up to an abuser. I should know. I do it all the time, even though it just makes things worse in the long run.

     Her Father was busy dealing with Death Eater bullshit, not even glancing outside to see what was happening. The only reason he did look, was because Dolohov wasn't paying attention to Nicholas.

     Apparently, when a fellow co-worker of sorts is watching your Wife being murdered, that's what it takes to look behind you.

     Nicholas does a walking/jogging thing to get to us. He talk to Lillian so quietly, that the three of us on the sidelines can barely hear him. But when Lillian doesn't respond, I started to watch her. She was trembling with rage.

     I looked around at everybody watching the show, and noticed that the dishes on the tables were shaking. I look at it with shock. I had some hunches from the past couple of years, but now I'm certain about it.

     Enzo and Theo were behind Lillian now. Each one had a hand on her shoulders. She visible relaxes, and they leave to come by my side. I start filling them in on what happened, and I told them about my realization.

     Just as I finish telling them everything, Lillian starts speaking again.

     "Well, let me give you a little recap. I was looking for Mother, found her outside, we had a little chat, I tortured her, and killed her. I think that covers it." When she turns to look at us, she seems... different. It's almost like she doesn't care about anything anymore. Her eyes also seem to be glowing. Well, that just puts the nail in the coffin of my theory. "Am I missing any details? Cause I feel like I got them all "

     We all just stare at her in silence, not knowing how to respond, not knowing if we should respond. Eventually, she gives up on us replying, and just answers for us.

     "I think they're just a little shy. I gave you the entire rundown of what happened so, you didn't really miss anything."

     I'm speechless. I don't appreciate her talking on my behalf, and I can tell that Peter and Five don't appreciate it either.

     Nicholas just stares at her when she turns her back on him and walks away. I look around at everybody. They were all whispering with each other, and I can see all the Death Eaters huddling together.

     As inconspicuously as possible, I move closer to them to hear what they are saying.

     "-fisty. It was about time someone killed that bitch. I swear if she didn't I would have."

     "She needs to control her anger though. All that, she was letting her emotions control her."

     "Dolohov, what did Smith want?"

     "He wanted to know about the prophecy. He was asking a lot of questions about what it entails."

     I walk away before they notice that I'm there. I make eye contact with Theo. To remain inconspicuous, I talk in his mind.

     "They know. They are talking about it right now. We have to make sure that they don't take her"

     He nods his head, and goes to Enzo. He tells him what I just informed him. Enzo looks at me, almost like he's looking for confirmation. I nod, then go to find Lillian. Its about time that we told her everything.
