This is a redrawing of all the main characters in my book Beating Wings! I will add the characters' new artwork on this page, so check back every time it updates!

Nota
In her original drawing (left), Nota was a sort of pinkish grey color, and that's really the most drastic change I drew in the new drawing.

I wanted Nota to be very metallic, and I felt that cool tones would achieve that, so that's what I did. I also changed her eye color slightly to a more purple, to give a slightly warm feeling about her because she is very kind.

I also changed up the horn designs slightly, making them more jagged and more wonky I suppose haha. I really like how she turned out!

Queen Hyla
In her original artwork, Queen Hyla had no frills at all. However, with the new design I really started to like the idea of poisonous frills similar to the dilophosaurus from Jurassic Park. So, the new design started to take shape in the picture shown in the left.

In the story, she is snakelike and had a gold chain which acts like a crown in the dragon world. I redrew her face shape and added more snake features and details. I also changed the color scheme into mor of a purple, since that matches her eyes when she isn't using her elemental powers (and flare red when using her powers).

Basically, I changed the colors, head shape, and added more details to her golden chain. I really like how she turned out as well, and I feel like it adds more dimension to her as a character.

Kintes

So I changed Kintes from the drawing to the left and made him more of a Chinese Dragon, with a long hair thing off his chin and more details to the face, and curly horns which I LOVE on Kintes.

So yeah, I made the colors more vibrant, the underbelly different... umm what else...?

Yup. That's about it lol.

Zepth

Last but not least, we have the main character Zepth! I gave her three ears instead of one, and the original design says that as she ages into adulthood, her ears perk upwards instead of remaining "floppy", and so I think I'm going to stick with that concept.

Her colors stayed the same shades, but are more vibrant. Her symbol is darker so that it looks like it belongs on her face and not a bright red sticker just popped on top. Her eyes are the same, her underbelly is more blueish, and her inner ear is more purple.

So now that I did all the character redraws I listed on this page... should I stop now? Or should I keep going?

Do you guys think I should draw Grilop, Deltul, Trufor, & others?? If so, which characters* specifically?
