"You rotten scum, get back here!" The rugged looking man yelled bitterly, as he chased the fifteen year old girl who ran for her dear life.

This is not what she wanted or expected, all she wanted was to run away from that horrible orphanage she grew up in. Without knowing her way through any place around her, she accidentally went through a dangerous alley filled with dirty men.

She saw a small shop near in sight and let out a sigh of relief, maybe she could finally be free. "Who do you think you are? Running in our turf and kneeing me in the balls without getting away with it?" She heard that bitter old voice again.

"Please." She cried as he dragged her by the hair and slammed her hard onto a wall. She knew her pleas would do nothing to get her out of her position but she had to atleast try. The pain was unbearable, she could barely feel her bones. He vigorously picked her up by the neck, keeping a hold of her against the wall. She did everything in her power to get him to stop, her vision was blurry from all the tears and her throat dry with lack of oxygen passing through her lungs. Rosalie's words kept on replaying in her head.

"You're making a terrible mistake Emerald... the world is filled with bad people, you need to be careful for every wrong move or mistake can put your life at stake. I will pray for you to make it out and through safely, don't make me regret this, don't..."

And now she had fully regretted asking Rosalie to help her escape, the consequences she was enduring where much worse than her expectations. There was no undoing it now, she was doomed for life and would probably die miserable.

"I'll teach you some manners." He growled, jogging her out of her teary reverie. Tightening his grip on her neck, he nearly strangled the life out the poor girl. She wondered why nobody was there to help, why this man was so cruel. And at this point, she lost hope. All she wanted to do was die.

"No, please. No, don't do this." She begged, yelling out in fear. Her attempt to fight back was useless, she was no match for his giant frame. As he roughly took off her panties and pulled down his trousers, his boxers falling off next, she felt defeated, helpless, alone, afraid. And nobody was there to witness what tragic incident had happened.

Emerald Finer was a foster kid who grew up in an orphanage from the time she was an infant. As she grew up, she hated that place so much and wanted to leave and be free. At the age of fifteen she had finally accomplished escaping her hell hole but was unfortunately raped the same night.

Years went by as she now lived in the streets. The hard way of life has surely knocked her hard, and that only made her grow bolder than ever. She was taken in as a member of a one of the biggest and most dangerous gangs in her town, feared by all and mostly wanted by the cops. Though extremely unacceptable, it is a new beginning and a step ahead in her life. She's now fearless, strong and brutal.

She lives by a motto that keeps her motivated: Never bend your head. Always hold it high, look the world straight in the face.

What happens when a certain someone by the name of Zack Clemons gets into her life, will things ever remain as they are or change tremendously?
