The next morning you woke up in a room,in a bed, looking around you look down. your abdomen was bandaged, a bag of blood hooked up next to you and pumping into you through an iv. "where am i..?"

"The hospital." it was him, he was there. 

"fatgum?" "please, taishiro. no need to be so formal." "taishiro?" it had a nice ring to it you think to yourself, "what happened?" "you were attacked by the league of villains, pretty badly to kid, had I not found ya' you woulda' been dead by now. they cut you open pretty good.", you tilt your head as you try to remember.

thats right, tomura.  "Oh..I don't remember much it's all a blur right now sorry." you lied your way out of the situation, if people found out you knew tomura even if it was only as a child you'd be dead meat, but something in this mans eyes seems different. You find yourself feeling safe and comforted as you look into his eyes. "s'understandable, doctor said you would likely experience some amnesia. Yer'brother said he was comin to visit you, I didn't know you were related to the todorokis.", "I was adopted into their family, not really related other than that" yu sigh as you lay back on the pillow wincing, "momma died when i was five, was all my fault to." you begin to think out loud, "I'm cursed with this quirk, iv'e hurt so many people..". "y'know it's not yer fault, you were only a child.", even if he never knew your full story it seems he feels remorse for you. 

"but it was, i have this quirk, the villains hurt her because of me. an i killed her trying to protect her she was all i had." feeling tears fall, you feel his hand wipe them and as you look at him, his eyes tell you it's going to be okay,that you're safe and the past isn't your fault. "Every hero  has it's own past, that's what makes you a hero. I'm sorry this happened to you, but it's not your fault.", and he's right, it's not. just as you are about to speak again, "Y/N? why are you crying?", not even todoroki knows what happened so you blow it off as "it's just the pain." you find yourself longing for taishiros embrace again shortly after he leaves the room,todoroki taking his place. "The old man isn't happy.", "who cares what he thinks? all he thinks about as himself.", "y/n, he wants you to come home." "No. I still have to do this internship." "y/n. your'e injured you can't.", "but i can! im strong and i can do it!", "I know you can but i don't want you to make things worse." "sho,please,i'll be okay. i should heal pretty quickly." you two went back and fourth for what seemed like hours till you made the final decision and he left.

you looked out the window by the bed, the sky was a beautiful sunset orange and pink,as you stare at it you find yourself thinking of taishiro again. you sleep shortly after you eat your hospital breakfast, hoping he would be there when you woke up.

and he was,but this time you wake up in the seat of a car. The radio played soft tunes, sitting up there he was, driving the car. "well mornin'!", "morning" you yawn and stretch, "where are we going", "takin' you to my place , doctors said it was best for your recovery that you not be on patrol for bout'a month, heres my number if you need anything'", he slipped you a piece of paper as he parked. in the next few minutes you find yourself in your temporary room staring at the number. the the room was silent, cept for the occasional birds,planes, and all. you refused to go back home, so this would be a better fit for you, he was called just as fast he had parked, taking your surroundings you noticed how nice the room looked, it's very well kept to say at the least. 

hearing your phone buzz you look at your phone, of course. 

Endeavor: I said you would come home, whether you like it or not.

You: I'm staying at fatgum's place, i refuse to come home especially by the orders of you.

Endeavor: You're injured, you will do as i say.

You:why do you care so much now?! you never did before!

Endeavor:this is different, you could have died.

read at 5:30 pm.

Endeavor:don't ignore me Y/n todoroki. i'm your father. 

You:No you are not, when have you ever been a father to me or any of your actual kids!

Endeavor:....

You:good night enji.

sighing in frustration, feeling tears prick your eyes, you set your phone down by you, lying back. he really never had cared for you, and you witnessed first hand how he treated the other children of the family too. He treated you no different if not worse, just as bad as he treated his wife, rei, who you referred to as your mom, only difference is you actually fought back when he attacked. When you first came into the family all of the other kids were infatuated with your quirk, rei loved you no differently than she did her other kids. Enji wasn't  so happy to see the other kids show interest in you, in fact he even openly expressed you were not biological siblings in front of them for years up until high school hit, You wonder what had happened to touya, he just suddenly vanished into thin air one day. 

He didn't love you and he made it clear all of those years, when shoto had got burnt by his mother you didn't stare at her like she was a monster, but he did and it made your blood boil you were only so young yet you snapped at him, he stared at you with pure hatred and disgust that day, shoto is dear to you and so is natsuo and the others, including touya. he never cared, and never will. sniffling you find yourself curling into  ball, "why me?..".

you had ended up crying yourself to sleep, you woke up to the smell of something delicious, it smelled so good, getting out of the bed you wonder downstairs to the voices you hear, and there he was back turned to you while cooking something. "Hey Y/N are you resting up well?", turning your head you notice kirishima and tamaki, "mhmm" yawning as you stretch, "heya kiddo, forgot to tell ya bout your pain meds, i left em on the table by the bed for ya'" he turned to face you, "oh..thank you taishiro- i mean fatgum sir, sorry" there's that feeling of safety again.

"have a seat food should be done soon". you sit down dozing off into wonderland again as you watch him.

maybe this month off wouldn't be so bad after all.
