Y/n L/n is seen lying on his bed as he played mindlessly with a rubix cube. The sound of a clock ticking can be heard in the background.

"Hello," a voice from a tape starts, "and welcome to Staying Awake."

Y/n is at his door, applying a line of blue duct tape to it and the doorframe. Four locks are already applied to keep him in. Then Y/n is seen locking a restraint around his ankle.

"I have a sleeping disorder."

Y/n lies on his bed as he tosses the rubix cube into the air. He catches it as it falls back down to him

"I can't tell the difference between my waking life..."

Y/n looks over at a mirror, confused and scared.

"... and my dreams."

Y/n laughs like as he holds his face in his hand.

"Hello," the tape starts over, "and welcome to Staying Awake."

Y/n is back in his bed.

"Welcome to Staying Awake."

"Welcome to--"

"Welcome--Staying Awake."

An alarm goes off, making Y/n snap awake. He rushes forward and falls to the floor thanks to his ankle restraints.

In Japan, Y/n is seen calling for a bus to stop after almost missing it.

"I'm losing it..."

On the bus, he had accidently fallen asleep on some guy's back. Then he soon gets off and walks up to the university he attends.

"A real catch you are," a classmate, called Kazuya, tells Y/n sarcastically. "You almost got in trouble again, didn't you, (mispronounced name)."

Y/n, at his seat, faces Kazuya with a tired look.

"It's Y/n, actually."

Kazuya only smirks at Y/n as she chews some bubblegum. She chuckles.

"I can't tell the difference..."

Y/n looks over at a bathroom mirror. A flash shows some man in a white suit and mask, and he turns on the light. It was only him.

"... between my waking life and my dreams."

In a hallway in an apartment complex, Y/n was in an elevator. A light flickers and some kind of monster with a bird skull appears, terrifying Y/n as he tries to close the elevator doors. It get closer and closer before its hand keeps the doors from closing, making Y/n scream as he falls to the floor.

"Thanks," a middle-aged woman with green hair tells Y/n.

She walks into the elevator as the doors close. Y/n noticed the odd glances she was giving him.

"Lost a contact lens."

"Hope you find it," the woman said.

"Thanks, Miss Midoriya."

Another scene shows Y/n in his school again. The sound of a ringing phone can be heard as Y/n walks through a hallway.

Back in his apartment, Y/n pulls a wood plank from the wall and reaches inside the hole. He pulls out some kind of key and a flipphone. He flips it open and answers a call.

"Yeah?"

"Oh, my God, you're alive!" a girl's voice shouts from the other end. "What's wrong with you, Marc?"

"Why did you call me... 'Marc'?"

The next scene shows Y/n being pushed down a hall with a bag over his head.

"It must be very difficult," a scratchy voice spoke as Y/n is shoved onto a chair. "The voices in your head."

In another scene, Marc, in control of Y/n's body, can be seen kicking a mirror.

"SHUT! UP!"

"There's chaos in you," a man with a hand covering his face is seen.

In another scene, Y/n can be seen driving a mochi van. He looks around in confusion before noticing the gun in his hand. He drops it in shock and turns to look at the back, only to see the bloodied bodies of a Hero and a Villain lying limp. They fall out of the open back doors.

At UA High, Y/n stands before a gathering of Heroes and police officers.

Then Y/n be seen running down a hallway with a duffel bag in hand. He was terrified.

"Embrace the chaos," the scratchy voice tells Y/n.

In a school bathroom, Y/n gasps as his body stiffens and something grows over his body. The scene jumps over to the now ruined school bathroom where Y/n, being controlled by Marc, can be seen in some kind of white outfit. He was beating down on a Nomu sent to kill him. There was no mercy, with the Nomu basically dead.

Finally, with one last punch, the Nomu's body goes limp. Marc stands to his feet and turns to walk off...

... as the Moon Knight.
