The big room felt like a cage, and I had been here for an entire day. Jungkook had locked me away, but he hadn't come to see me since then. Maids in uniforms kept entering, with trays of exquisite food and crystal-clear glasses of water, tending to my every need. It was all so luxurious, yet there was no denying the truth—I was a captive in this lavish prison.

I couldn't appreciate the lavish surroundings or the attentive service. The weight of my situation pressed down on me. I couldn't help but worry about my parents. They must have realized my absence by now. I had left my phone back at the club, and it was most likely in Jungkook's possession by now. My parents would have probably filed a police complaint by now.

I clasped my hands together, my fingers trembling with a mix of fear and frustration. I hoped beyond hope that they would find me soon.

I glanced at the tray of untouched food that had been sitting before me for the past three hours. There were food items like lobster bisque, truffle-infused pasta, and a dessert that looked like a work of art.

But despite the exquisite spread, my appetite was nonexistent. I simply wanted to escape this place. I wanted to go home.

The door creaked open, and I turned my gaze towards it, my heart racing as I saw Jungkook's imposing figure stepping into the room. He was dressed in a perfectly tailored black suit that accentuated his commanding presence. His raven-black hair framed his face, and his obsidian eyes held an intensity that sent shivers down my spine.

I couldn't hide the anger that surged within me as our eyes locked. He regarded me with a cold, emotionless stare, his demeanor unyielding. His voice cut through the heavy silence, breaking the tension. "You've not eaten your dinner?" he inquired, his words dripping with an unsettling calm.

Tears welled in my eyes, a mixture of frustration and fury. "How the hell do you expect me to eat dinner while I'm being held captive in this hell hole?" I retorted, my voice quivering with rage and desperation. I couldn't contain the flood of emotions any longer. With all the strength I could muster, I pushed at his chest, but it was as if my hands had no effect on this unyielding man who had become the source of my torment.

Jungkook remained unshaken by my futile attempt to push him away. His stoic expression didn't waver as he gently caught my hands and held them firmly. "You need to eat, Sooyeon," he insisted, his tone calm but resolute.

I yanked my hands away, my defiance unwavering. "I don't need anything from you," I spat back, my voice trembling with a mix of defiance and vulnerability.

Jungkook's patience seemed to wear thin, and he leaned in closer. "You'll eat, one way or another," he declared, his voice taking on a sinister edge.

I looked at him with a mixture of fear and anger. "You can't force me to do anything," I retorted, my voice shaking as I met his unwavering gaze.

Jungkook's eyes bored into mine, and he finally relented. "Fine, Sooyeon," he said, his voice softer now, but his eyes held a hint of calculation. "I'll make you a deal. Eat your dinner, and I'll consider letting you leave this place."

The prospect of freedom was too enticing to resist. With a heavy heart and a sense of resignation, I finally picked up the silverware and began to eat the sumptuous meal before me. Jungkook sat nearby, his eyes fixed on me, his silence a constant reminder of the complex power dynamic that had developed between us.

As I finished the meal, I put the utensils down and looked up at Jungkook with a mixture of hope and anxiety. "Can I go now?" I asked, my voice trembling.

Jungkook's expression remained unyielding as he replied, "Not tonight. It's too late now. You'll leave tomorrow morning."

Tears welled up in my eyes, and I couldn't hold back the flood of emotion any longer. I began to cry, the weight of my captivity and the rollercoaster of emotions overwhelming me.

But Jungkook's warning pierced through my sobs like a blade. "If you keep crying, I'll change my mind," he threatened, his voice firm and unapologetic.

Fearing the consequences of my actions, I forced myself to stifle the sobs and regain my composure, even though I knew that my fate still hung in the balance, and the enigmatic man before me held the key to my freedom.

Jungkook slowly rose from his seat, and his actions caught me off guard. He took a tissue and gently wiped my mouth, his touch oddly tender considering the situation. "Get some rest now," he said softly, his words tinged with an unexpected gentleness. "I'll come back after taking a bath."

I nodded in response, my emotions still in turmoil, but his small act of care had left me bewildered. As he left the room to take a bath, I was left alone, contemplating the complex web of emotions and power dynamics that had entangled us, unsure of what the next morning would bring.

As I heard the water running from the bathroom, a desperate idea struck me. Perhaps I could find Jungkook's mobile phone and call the police for help. I scanned the room and spotted the phone sitting on the table. My heart raced as I reached for it, but my hopes were dashed when I discovered that it was locked with a passcode.

"Foolish, Sooyeon," I muttered to myself in frustration. Why had I expected it to be unlocked and ready for my use?

With a heavy sigh, I returned the phone to its place. My gaze then fell upon the open window, and I carefully considered my escape route. We were only on the first floor, and just below the balcony lay plant beds and bushes. It seemed like a risky but plausible way out. Swallowing my fear, I resolved to make my escape, even if it meant a swollen butt. I knew I had to take this chance.

I froze in my hiding place, my heart pounding like a drum in my chest as I heard Jungkook's voice calling out to me. Panic surged through me, and in a desperate bid to avoid his anger or any potential retaliation, I swiftly climbed back into the bed and shut my eyes, feigning sleep. I hoped that he would believe I was already in slumber and not dig any deeper into my actions.

Minutes later, I heard his footsteps approaching and held my breath, praying that he wouldn't discover my intent. "Thank God she's asleep," he muttered, and I breathed a small sigh of relief, believing that I had successfully fooled him.

But then he continued, "I forgot my towel outside." My eyes shot open in shock and embarrassment as the image of him coming out without a towel played vividly in my mind. I quickly scolded myself, reminding me of the gravity of my situation. He might have forgotten his towel, but he had kidnapped me, and I needed to stay focused on finding a way to escape from this mansion.

My heart raced as I feigned sleep, unsure of when the tension would finally pull me into slumber. The room grew darker, and I continued my act, even though my anxiety was escalating.

Suddenly, I was jolted awake when I felt a warm hand wrap around my waist, and a weight pressing down on me. Panic surged through me as I tried to turn around, but I was met with the intense gaze of Jungkook, who was mere inches from my face. He was hugging me tightly and lightly snoring.

His proximity sent shivers down my spine, and my mind raced with fear and confusion. I desperately glanced toward the balcony, wondering how I could escape from his grip without waking him.

I gently slid his hand away from my waist and slowly began to extract myself from the bed. Each motion was deliberate, intended to make the least amount of noise possible. The room was shrouded in darkness, and I strained my eyes to navigate my way without stumbling over anything.

As I finally managed to rise from the bed, I held my breath, acutely aware of every sound, every creak, and the rhythm of Jungkook's snoring. His proximity remained a constant threat, urging me to move with utmost care.

I tiptoed away from the bed, my heart pounding in my chest, as I contemplated the balcony once more. The thought of escape still lingered in my mind, and I knew that every moment counted.

With trembling hands, I gently pushed open the glass door of the balcony and stepped outside. The cool night air surrounded me, and I could feel the tension building in my chest. I knew that jumping down to the garden below might hurt, but I was willing to endure it for the chance to escape this nightmare.

As I prepared to leap, I steeled myself, ready for the inevitable pain that would follow. But as I glanced back at Jungkook for what I thought would be the last time, my heart froze in my chest. He lay in the bed, eyes wide open, and a horrifying smirk twisted his lips. The sight of his unflinching gaze sent chills down my spine, and my breath slowed to a near halt. He didn't move, just continued to stare at me with that sinister smile.

Fear coursed through my veins, and I knew I had to get as far away from him as possible. Without further hesitation, I jumped from the balcony. The landing was painful, and I let out a stifled cry as I felt a sharp ache shoot through my legs.

I stumbled to my feet, wincing from the pain, and began running toward the main door, which I could see in the distance. The urgent need for escape propelled me forward, my body aching from the impact of the fall, but my determination overriding the pain.

My breath was ragged as I sprinted toward the main door, my heart pounding in my chest. However, my desperate escape was halted as a strong force restrained me. I struggled against it, my eyes widening in terror as I realized that guards were holding me.

One of the guards quickly spoke into his walkie-talkie, his voice crackling with urgency, "Sir, we've caught her." The realization that Jungkook's security detail had intercepted my escape attempt sent a shiver down my spine. My hopes of freedom were dashed, and I was once again in the clutches of the dangerous world I had desperately tried to escape.

I screamed at the top of my lungs and tears streamed down my face. "Let me go!" I cried out, my voice filled with anguish and fear. My pleas echoed through the dark night, but the guards remained unyielding, their grip unrelenting.

"Let her go. I'll take care of her now," came Jungkook's voice, and I turned to see him standing there, clad in a silk robe, his eyes locked onto mine. His presence was overwhelming, and I felt my vision blur as the world around me spun.

My body gave way, and with the last of my strength, I cried out, "Jungkook..." before everything went black.
