Some well needed angst!

"jiminie... i want you so bad, you know that. i have expressed it a million times. you also know that you want me. so please don't say that you don't have a choice! don't say that fate is pulling you away from me! its our life minnie! you are my everything. we will rewrite the stars... you will be mine and i will be yours! nothing can keep us apart, angel. its up to us! not this damn world! we are meant to be baby...please don't leave me here. all alone." yoongi sobbed, tears streaming down his cheeks, he fell on his knees. he kept on begging jimin to not leave him.

they lived in a universe where soulmates existed. yoongi was one without a soulmate. an unlucky fellow who doesn't have a destined other half. 

whereas jimin had a soulmate whom he never met. his mate died years ago. but he was made to believe that he wouldn't find any one who could complete his incomplete puzzle of a heart. 

"YOU THINK I DON'T WANT YOU!!? all i want is to be safe in your arms! i want you as much as you want me! or maybe even more. but its not that easy, hyung! there are many challenges that we won't be able to overcome. there's a whole big world beyond our little world.. and rewrite the stars!!? how can we even do that?? are you crazy? one can never have anyone else other than their destined ones. everything will keep us apart! everything. you should realize that i'm not the one for you. and nothings up to us! we live in a world were people decide what we can become! WE.ARE.NOT.MEANT.TO.BE!" jimin shouted, eyes all welled up and cheeks red. 

they were at yoongi's house. everything was going well until yoongi asked jimin to be his boyfriend. jimin rejected him telling that they are not fated ones. but yoongi was not going to give up.

"life has challenges. we can overcome it. we will overcome it. and i don't have a destined one, baby. sure, it is not easy but if we are together, we can overcome it. baby please... you are all i have. you are my only hope.. i want to have a family with you, spent the rest of my life with you , i want to wake up with you, die with you. you can't leave me now! after all we have gone through... p-p-plea-please..." yoongi begged with his hands clasped together, words slurring and stuttering. 

"hyung... you know i want to have a life with you but.. we are bound to break apart... and there is nothing we can do..." jimin whispered as he choked on his sobs.

"give a chance, minnie... please.. i beg you. we will rewrite the stars together, because it is possible. its up to us. we can do this together. i just want one chance. just one. please?" 
yoongi hugged jimin's legs. looking up to the younger with a face of vulnerability. he had lived his 27 years of life without a love life. jimin had given him hope. hope that he was not lonely. hope that he was not just an unlucky fellow..

"ok... just promise you won't let go when things go bad... promise that you will be with me forever..." jimin finally agreed as he stood yoongi up. 

"i will never let you go. you will never be alone. never." yoongi promised, shaking his head 'no' vigorously as he took jimin's hands in his. 

jimin cupped yoongi's tear stained face and kissed him. yoongi's hands went around jimin's waist, pulling him closer. the kiss was the promise that they won't let go. that they will overcome any challenge, together.

-timeskip- [2 years later]

two years later, here they were, leading the best life possible. the promise was kept. they loved each other with all their heart. 

sometimes fate offers us a second chance. and it is meant to be utilized to the utmost. 

and... some stories are destined to have a happy ending.
