Description

"You're the kind of soul anyone would be lucky to be with, and you don't even know it. The great ones never do."

Margo Fielding is the author of her own story. She just hasn't quite figured out what path she wants to take. Being a writer at a trashy magazine who only works on her own novels in what little free time she has is not what Margo imagined herself doing. She wanted to travel the world, experience what terrified her, and write novels that the world would fall in love with. Margo wanted to inspire the next generation of writers with novels that twisted and turned, and instead, she's left wishing she'd have followed any other career path.

Tony Stark is the father of the future. He just doesn't know exactly what the future holds for him. Being a genius is all fun and games until you end up attached to a car battery in a cave in Afghanistan with a snowball's chance in hell at getting out. But, against all the odds, he made it. Now, Tony just has to figure out what to do next because being a superhero is definitely not what he set out to do.

When two people floundering because of their circumstances have a chance encounter at a coffee shop, the world begins to shift and tilt back in their favors. And because of this chance encounter the two are confronted with the truth of their lives and the options for their futures.

"Breathe through the fear and walk through the fire."

Quotes

1-"I think I'm in love with you, and that scares the crap out of me."

"I know I'm in love with you, and that just might be worse."

2-"This is a lot harder than I make it look, and I don't think you appreciate it enough."

"Oh, I know it's harder than it looks, and I absolutely appreciate it and you more than you may know. You do remember the smoothie incident of last week, right?"

"Of course I remember it, that was the most I've laughed in months."

"Well, I'm glad I could be of some use around here because we both know you don't keep me around because of my abilities with technology."

3-"Tony, if you hack my laptop one more time and read my unfinished manuscript, then I'm going to chop off something very valuable to you."

"I don't believe you. There's no way that you would physically assault me in any way worse than a slap. And you wouldn't be writing your books on a laptop if you didn't want me to read them. They're amazing by the way, a work of art. I may have also pretended to be you as I sent them to several publishers."

"You did what?!"

4-"When you fall, I'm going to laugh hysterically. I'll help you up, but I'm going to laugh first."

"If you're going to laugh, then can't you laugh while you're helping me?"

"Nope. I've got my priorities straightened out."

"That's nice to know that helping your best friend is ranked below making fun of said best friend."

"No, no. I'm not making fun of you. I would never make fun of you. I'm laughing with you, not at you. There's a difference between the two."

5-"I'm not playing Scrabble with you anymore."

"What? Why not? We're having fun."

"Yes, we were, but you are somehow cheating at this game."

"I'm not cheating! I'm just great with words that aren't science or technology related. Those categories are all yours."

"Fine. Alright. Yes, I get the science and technology words right off the bat, but you have a monopoly on everything else. You're over there getting word bonuses and making an alien language. I've had to look up over half of the words you've put down because I have no clue what they are. I'm a genius. I should know these words!"

"You do realize that your playing Scrabble with a writer, right? I would lose my street creds if I lost a word game."

"Street creds? Since when do writers have street creds?"

6-"Don't die. Please don't die, because if you do I don't think I'll be able to stand it."

"I'm never leaving you, and if I die, I will find a way back to you."

Additional Information

• Margo is incredibly intelligent when it comes to anything related to language, writing, and communication. She was a speech writer for the Secretary of State at one point, but she hated how political the job and her coworkers were. Next, she wrote descriptions and synopses of movies and television shows, but eventually that became boring. So, Margo then began freelance writing for a couple of different magazines before she ended up working full time for one specific magazine.
• Margo has written several different novels, but she has never sent them anywhere to see if they could be published. She continually says that they aren't finished yet, and she edits them every now and then. Deep down, Margo is terrified that she'll be rejected. Tony brings her out of her comfort zone and takes the situation into his own hands by hacking into Margo's laptop, pretending to be her, and sending every manuscript to several publishers.
-What the publishers say is completely up to you. But, whatever happens has to bring Margo and Tony closer together somehow.
• Margo has several tattoos. She has a Celtic knot on the inside of her left wrist, a cherry blossom on her right ankle, angel wings behind her left ear, and several hummingbirds on her back. Each tattoo has a meaning for Margo, but the meanings are up to you.
• Tony doesn't immediately warm up to Margo. There needs to be a bit of a struggle for their connection to grow past their first meeting. Maybe have Pepper, Rhodey, Jarvis, and Happy scheme to get the two together (after they've preformed an overly thorough background check).
• Tony and Margo should both be able to express their darker emotions with each other. They need to have a raw, honest relationship that works on rebuilding their emotional and physical states. This book/series is meant to be emotional, so don't be afraid to make yourself or the reader cry.
• Margo has a younger sister named Lucy and an older brother named Henry. She is close with her siblings because their parents died when they were young, and the three siblings had to rely on each other a lot to survive. Their faceclaims are up to you, but here are a few suggestions: Troian Bellisario, Emeraude Toubia, Willa Holland, Michael Weatherly, Jim Caviezel, Josh Dallas, and Jensen Ackles.
• It is up to you if you want to have Pepper and Tony date for a bit and then break up, or have them never date at all. My only condition for this is that Margo has never and will never be "the other woman" in a relationship. Margo would never cheat on someone, and she would never be with someone that was in any sort of relationship with another person.
• Margo is a sweet person with a devious side. She knows how to work a singular person or a whole crowd because she's a master with words. This means that Margo should be able to talk circles around anyone that upsets or offends someone that she cares about. Her words are her weapons, and Margo certainly knows how to deal a fatal blow.
• It is up to you if Tony dies in this, or if he somehow manages to survive Endgame. Margo must live though, and you will need to show how she reacts to whatever way you decide to write Endgame. I don't want Margo to just disappear because you decide one way or the other. She should still impact future Marvel movies.

What makes you like Tony? Or What do you think about Tony's heroic ending, and if you could change something about it, would you?

(If you want to change anything else just message me and we will talk it out. I'm not guaranteeing that I will let you but I am willing to discuss it.)
