Lauren Mallory was a smart girl and she knew it, but even though she could lead her basketball team to the championships she was still considered a loser. Lauren is an odd girl with a strange sense of humor that is often found off-putting to people other than her only friends, Peter and Ned. This oddness could lead to something terrible or beautiful.

Strength is not just physical, it can be mental, emotional, spiritual, or even strength of character. What breaks a person's strength? Can their weakness really be their downfall or is it something else entirely? Could love break a strong person? What about hate? If someone is broken, can they be fixed? If so, then how?

Lauren Mallory was born strong, but her weaknesses can be overwhelming and detrimental. Peter Parker was made strong through his experiences, but his fears cause doubt and that shakes his strength. What happens when these two realize that what they needed was right in front of them all along.

Additional Information

•Lauren is a star basketball player but she is still listed in the "loser" category because she is smart and friends with Peter and Ned.
•She has been friends with them for a long time. She is sort of friendly with Michelle.
•Lauren is a huge nerd. She knows a crap ton of random trivia and she loves Star Wars and Star Trek. She also likes to make math jokes.
•Lauren has always known about Peter being Spider-Man. She was the first one that he told.
•Lauren is alright with being Peter's friend but she wants to actually be with him. She isn't jealous of Liz though and she actually tries to help Peter land a date with Liz.
•Lauren is great at math and engineering. Her dad is an engineer and her mom is a chemist. She is okay at science but it is not her favorite subject.
•Lauren somehow ends up meeting Tony through Peter and she fixes something that he was having trouble with. This leads to Tony picking her brain on what she knows. He also likes her sense of humor.
•Somehow Peter, Lauren, Ned, and Shuri meet. They hit it off like a house on fire.
•Lauren doesn't have any abilities except for her brain. She loves messing with Peter's suit and adding things to it. •Lauren is an only child but she is very close with her cousin Seth who is in college.
•She has an interesting sense of humor. She loves comparing people to animals and giving them animal nicknames. She also loves breaking down peoples' names into other words, like in the last quote.
