↳ pinterest

i assume we all are familiar with Pinterest app/website. if you are not, well, then it's a photo sharing social media application where you can find millions of pictures online, you can save your favourite pictures to your profile and save them.

pinterest is definitely one of my favorite apps, there's a wide variety of pictures to choose from and most of them are stunning, beautiful, amazing- well, i could go on for days. one thing for sure, you never get bored of pinterest.

it's a great app to find pictures for your covers, if i'm not wrong most of us use pinterest all the time.

the only downside to pinterest is, not all the pictures in the platform is copyright free. bummer. you'd be using someone's pictures without their consent. but i guess we all are familiar with it by now eh?

to download images from pinterest, either open the app or go to pinterest.com & search whatever kind of picture you're looking for.
<here i searched for /girl aesthetic photo/ bc i love to add that word aesthetic to everything i search lmao>

there would be thousands of results

you choose your favourite picture among them and click the three dots below the picture

select <download image>

if you have this not turned off, you might have to approve to every download individually while using browser :)

↳ unsplash

unsplash is literally my favourite place to find beautiful pictures. they have a wide range of aesthetic, high quality photos and oh the best part? all of the images are copyright free!
the picture i used as a cover for this book is also from unsplash :D

to download pictures from unsplash, you can search for unsplash.com in your browser, which will take you to the homepage of the website. there, you can find the search bar and you search whatever you're looking for.
<being creative with search keywords ain't necessary here, i simply searched girl and that was how i came across the picture i used as a cover for this book. on my opinion it's gorgeous>

you can browse through the results until you come across a picture you like. when you find one, you press that download button below the image

that's pretty much it!

again, this is annoying but you'll have to individually approve every download if you're like me :')

↳pexels

another lovely website, with thousands of copyright free pictures is pexels.com
trust me when i say they have gorgeous, high quality pictures because all the raw images i used for banners in this book is from pexels.

to download from pexels, just like unsplash you search pexels.com in your browser and go to their home page. in the search bar, you type whatever you're looking for.
<i haven't used pexels for a while so i wasn't sure what i was gonna search for, so i just went with a simple 'aesthetic'>

oooh the results guys! absolutely fantastic!

you find your favorite pictures and simply press that arrow button

if you're new to the website, you'll get this message but no worries, just press allow its all good

some of y'all might wonder why i have this feature not turned off bc honestly yea, it's annoying. but it's also helpful, like you can edit the name you want on the file you download, you can also cancel the download action before it starts if you accidentally click the button :D
