to open the picture you want to add text on, open the phonto app & swipe up, which will open these option menu below. select images

to add the text, select the pencil

type whatever text you want :)
you can adjust where you want to place the text using the align option, which will give you three options; left, center, right
on this one i used center

to change font, select font

it'll take you to the font gallery <or whatever its called hehe> the fonts part have three parts? idk what to call it but hmm :'/

the 'fonts' part will have in-app fonts, meaning these fonts exist in the app when you download phonto. personally, i don't use the fonts in here because most of them aren't my taste of aesthetics. however, this particular one, roboto, is quite good and i use it a lot :)

the 'my fonts' part will contain all the custom fonts you've installed in phonto. i use the fonts here all the time.

i'll explain how to add the custom fonts in another chapter :)

the 'star' part contains all the recently used fonts & your favourite fonts. to make a font your favourite, just click that star in the right

once you are happy with the font, you can save it < the font i used here is called Wensley >
click the text you added, and it'll open all the other features/options available in phonto

using the size option, you can adjust the size of your text

using the move option, you can place the text where you want it to be on the image

the tilt option will tilt your text < obviously >

the style option is *where magic happens* at

style > color
you can change color

style > stroke
adds a boarder to your text

style > shadow
adds shadow
<one of my favorite features tbh>

style > background
adds color backgrounds to your text
i don't really use this tho

style > spacing
you can add space between your letters and lines here

style > curving
to curve the text, ofc
this is quite helpful if you're making a banner or a watermark

style > blend
where you can blend your text to the image :D
i use overlay blend option the most bc well, it's pretty-

to save your image, you can click the download button at the top. select however you want to save your photo <jpeg/png> & save!

that's pretty much it for the beginning, there are still other features about phonto, but the image limit is almost full in this chapter so i'll do another chapter for those features :)
