The sound of heels clicking on the floor echoed throughout the long hallway, a woman dressed in a long black dress entered the venue as the guards opened the luxurious doors for her making all the attention divert towards her, all the young and even old CEOs went in shock as they saw the mesmerizing lady walking in front of their eyes with much confidence, her attractiveness was no joke and the sly smirk on her soft lips was only adding up to her breathtaking aura.

Her dark brown hair was styled in loose curls that were falling on both of her shoulders, a bow was tightly secured on the back of her hair and around her neck was a elegant diamond choker that made her vibe even more expensive than it already was. She was way out of the thirsty men's league around her and they knew it too, yet their lustful gazes were directed at her and her only. There was nothing interesting in the way they were staring at her like hungry wolves.

Her doe eyes were turned siren because of the makeup and mostly because of her original stern aura. Her smirk was slowly disappearing because of all the attention she was the centre of, being stared at by men was never comfortable for a woman like Jennie.

She continued walking down the aisle as if she was the main event, finally stopping at an empty table as she stood alone while the host stepped onto the grand stage at the very front, ready to start the event when Jennie's sharp cat eyes suddenly met with someone's deep piercing ones. It caught her off guard yet she remained calm, showing no reaction at all but it went all in vain when he smirked at her for an unknown reason causing her to smile almost immediately. Her slyness was wide visible at the way her gaze suddenly turned seductive. The man in front of her was no less than an expensive full-course meal.

He was just as drop dead gorgeous as Jennie, his hair was slicked to one side and he was fitted into a black tuxedo as his blazer was hung over his right arm. In his left hand was a glass of red wine, his gaze was piercing through her soul and that made her shudder in an exciting way. The way he was holding her eyes in his was surprisingly attractive to her, never in her life had any man stared at her the way he did. His eyes weren't lustful, weren't hungry like other men. Rather, his orbs were complimenting her in a unique way and she couldn't help but to immediately fall for him at first sight.

He was exactly the type of men she admired. Rare yet elegant, expensive yet respectful.

"Good evening beautiful ladies and handsome gentlemen. Welcome to the grand ball party of Fashion and Architecture, 2023. I'm your host Choi Ha yeong, and I will try my best to keep all of you entertained in today's joyful evening." - The host started, gaining both of the young CEO's attention as they slowly diverted their eyes towards the stage, breaking their everlasting eye contact which somehow lighted sparks inside Jennie. It was an exciting feeling.

"Before we proceed to enjoy each other's company, I would like to introduce some young and successful CEOs that haven't been in the industry for too long yet they're leading the charts today. Give it a big round of applause for our beautiful lady Jennie Ruby Jane, CEO of JANE ENTERPRISES." - The attention was once again directed towards her as the spotlight dropped on her, the lights were dimmed to highlight her in the crowd of people as she sincerely smiled and bowed upon being applauded.

"We would like to invite our gorgeous and hard-working CEO on stage to share her experience as the owner of the most successful and leading company in Fashion designing. As well as our most well-mannered and young CEO Kim Taehyung to present this precious award to our boss lady Jennie for building her own staircase to success. Give them a round of applause everybody!" - Claps and cheers surrounded the venue once again, the second spotlight dropping on him as Jennie's eyes met his again. A sweet smile made its way to her lips when she realized he was Kim Taehyung.

The Kim Taehyung who was the talk of the town, the young and hot CEO she'd hear about from her employees as they wouldn't stop drooling over him. Although their intentions weren't to date him, instead they decided to ship him with their own boss just because they thought they would make the hottest couple alive. She was mostly irritated by their teasing but now that she had finally met him, she realized whatever they said made sense. He was giving off exactly the same aura as her, maybe a little stronger.

Jennie dropped out of her trance of thoughts when Taehyung suddenly approached her, extending his towards the woman as he waiting for her to accept his polite offer which she gladly did, with the exact same smile on her lips. She was quite surprised but that sweet smile on her lips didn't leave. It was as if she tattooed it there, and he couldn't help but to admire it as if it was the prettiest thing he had seen today, indeed she was the most beautiful and fragile woman he had seen in his entire life. Fragile in the strongest way.

She placed her hand on his palm as he gently held it and offered her to walk towards the stage with him, she didn't mind any of his actions. He was quite the opposite of what she had imagined him to be, young and successful people aren't much of a gentlemen towards women in today's generation but he proved all of her theories wrong with just one simple move.

His soft touch lighted fire within her body, her mind drifting towards the wrong side as it got filled with his thoughts. The way she was already fantasizing him wasn't much of a surprise to herself, who wouldn't day dream about this man she was walking with?

Cheers and claps had already filled the arena as the guests excitedly yelled all sorts of things for them both, it brought a faint pinkish on her already rosy cheeks.

"Woah! This is a rare sight, our youngest CEOs here are looking absolutely stunning together, aren't they? Will we get to experience this couple coming to life?" - As if the cheers weren't enough already, the host joked making both of them blush as Jennie giggled catching Taehyung's attention again.

He stared at her, admired her from the bottom of his heart but he didn't know what had happened to him all of a sudden. He had never looked at a woman the way he was looking at her, she was unintentionally attracting him towards her.

"Why don't you take a picture?" - She suddenly whispered, turning her head towards him before she winked making him chuckle. He couldn't reply to her as they had already reached the stage.

The both of them stood separately in front of the two mic stands, the host handed the beautiful bouquet of blue tulips to Taehyung as he turned towards Jennie again and extended his arms towards her. She politely bowed and accepted the flowers from him before he gave the Award to her as well, she thanked him and quickly turned towards the mic to give a short speech.

"I'm very thankful to all the people that have supported me since the start, without them I wouldn't be standing where I am today. Everyone sees me as a hard-working woman that never gave up on her dreams, but the truth is that all human beings have hard days. We all have our bad days where we just want to give everything up, and I've had those days as well. I was tired of trying hard and failing over and over again, no one knew me, no one recognized me but my mom encouraged me to never give up. Once again, thank you mom, thanks to everyone that encouraged me. This award isn't only for me but it is for all of you. Thank you so much." - Jennie deeply bowed to everyone before facing Taehyung as he was also going to say something, but before he did that he passed a mysterious smile to her making her raise an eyebrow.

"Congratulations to Miss Jennie on receiving this award, we're all looking forward to your future works and achievements Miss Kim." - He spoke making her smirk while he stepped away from the mic and gestured Jennie to walk first, he surely believed in the 'ladies first' allegations.
